THIS IS NOT A PLANETARY DICTATORSHIP RULED FROM THE WEST, RUSSIA ALSO HAS RIGHTS

There is a clear view among western political elites that what they say goes, or should do, that they are the sole established arbiters of all that is right and all that is wrong in international affairs. With this attitude they feel empowered to undermine the United Nations whenever it suits them to do so. Their frustration with the United Nations when they sought UN permission to attack and invade Iraq was clear. As was their determination to do whatever was necessary to gain something that at least could be seen as the go-ahead, including tapping the phones of those delegates they wished to sway in their favour. The United Nations has been essentially toothless since those moments in 2002 when the USA and UK went to war against Iraq on the basis of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1441 which had been previously recognized as NOT providing the authority to go to war. ‘While some politicians have argued that the resolution could authorize war under certain circumstances, the representatives in the meeting were clear that this was not the case. The United States Ambassador to the United Nations, John Negroponte, said: [T]his resolution contains no "hidden triggers" and no "automaticity" with respect to the use of force. If there is a further Iraqi breach, reported to the Council by UNMOVIC, the IAEA or a Member State, the matter will return to the Council for discussions as required in paragraph 12. The resolution makes clear that any Iraqi failure to comply is unacceptable and that Iraq must be disarmed. And, one way or another, Iraq will be disarmed. If the Security Council fails to act decisively in the event of further Iraqi violations, this resolution does not constrain any Member State from acting to defend itself against the threat posed by Iraq or to enforce relevant United Nations resolutions and protect world peace and security. The ambassador for the United Kingdom, the co-sponsor of the resolution, said: We heard loud and clear during the negotiations the concerns about "automaticity" and "hidden triggers" – the concern that on a decision so crucial we should not rush into military action; that on a decision so crucial any Iraqi violations should be discussed by the Council. Let me be equally clear in response... There is no "automaticity" in this resolution. If there is a further Iraqi breach of its disarmament obligations, the matter will return to the Council for discussion as required in paragraph 12. We would expect the Security Council then to meet its responsibilities. The message was further confirmed by the ambassador for Syria: Syria voted in favour of the resolution, having received reassurances from its sponsors, the United States of America and the United Kingdom, and from France and Russia through high-level contacts, that it would not be used as a pretext for striking against Iraq and does not constitute a basis for any automatic strikes against Iraq. The resolution should not be interpreted, through certain paragraphs, as authorizing any State to use force. It reaffirms the central role of the Security Council in addressing all phases of the Iraqi issue.’ (Wikipedia) United Nations Secretary-General at the time, Kofi Annan: “I have indicated it was not in conformity with the UN Charter from our point of view, from the chapter point of view, it was illegal. "I hope we don't see another Iraq-type operation for a long time . . . without UN approval and much broader support from the international community." After the illegal war and invasion of Iraq the USA and UK along with their allies began a systematic undermining of the United Nations by subsequently waging war against Libya and Syria without UN approval. All of the above was presaged by the NATO bombing campaign against Yugoslavia in 1999 which was conducted without UN approval. ‘NATO countries attempted to gain authorisation from the UN Security Council for military action, but were opposed by China and Russia, who indicated that they would veto such a measure. As a result, NATO launched its campaign without the UN's approval, stating that it was a humanitarian intervention. The UN Charter prohibits the use of force except in the case of a decision by the Security Council under Chapter VII, or self-defence against an armed attack – neither of which were present in this case.’ (Wikipedia) The above began the concept within NATO that it could act with impunity when its primary funders the USA and UK deemed its actions justified outside of the context of the United Nations. The bombing of Serbia by NATO also brings into being the so-called justification mechanism to wage war based on humanitarian issues. This would be used time and time again to justify the initiation of mass slaughter and nation destabilisation in future years. NATO has thus, since 1999, been protected from its dissolution that many expected upon the end of the Cold War. Indeed Mikhail Gorbachev was assured by multiple western leaders that NATO would not move further to the east if the Soviet Union agreed on the reunification of Germany. Article: Declassified documents show security assurances against NATO expansion to Soviet leaders from Baker, Bush, Genscher, Kohl, Gates, Mitterrand, Thatcher, Hurd, Major, and Woerner.’ https://nsarchive.gwu.edu/briefing-book/russia-programs/2017-12-12/nato-expansion-what-gorbachev-heard-western-leaders-early As we all know by now there have been five consecutive waves of NATO expansion all the way up to Russia’s border since the assurances were made to Gorbachev. And now the western powers want Georgia and Ukraine to be part of the NATO alliance also. The attitude that only the western powers have a say in what happens in our world prevails, not the other members of the United Nations. If there are nations within the United Nations that disagree then means will be found to bypass them. ‘Modern international law recognizes only three lawful justifications for waging war: self-defence, defence of an ally required by the terms of a treaty, and approval by the United Nations.’ (Wikipedia) The USA, UK and their allies not only degrade the integrity of the United Nations in their activities but also International law. This was in large part the subject of Vladimir Putin’s address to the political elites of the West in his Munich speech of 2007. In this address he explained why Russia would not agree to the forming of a unipolar world dominated by one group of nations to rule over all others but emphasised the role of the United Nations. Putin explained in terms no one could misunderstand that Russia would move forward in the expectation of a multipolar world. These clear statements of intent made him a target for the western powers, a situation that has continued to the present day. From all of the above we can see how the present confrontation with Russia has arisen: 1. The attitude that the West knows best, is global arbiter of right and wrong, and should have supreme control. 2. The constant abuse of western military and political power outside of the context of the United Nations. 3. The use of NATO as the primary weapon to wage aggression against Russia and any other states who resist western elite power. The western powers, as seen clearly in the attitude of Jens Stoltenberg, the current secretary-general of NATO when he said that Russia had ‘no say’ in whether Ukraine became a member of NATO, is that they and only they rule on what is permitted and what is not. Until in recent days and weeks, Vladimir Putin began reinforcing his words concerning these matters that he voiced so eloquently in Munich in 2007. That Russia is a sovereign nation that abides by international law under the auspices of the United Nations and none other. Russia, willing to cooperate with all nations against the global threats that now face us all, will remain a sovereign nation with its security intact and will defend its sovereignty and security with every means at its disposal. In short, that Russia cannot be dominated or isolated, that Russia has ‘red lines’ which cannot be crossed without resulting in catastrophic consequences and that Russia and the Russian people certainly DO have rights, inalienable rights, just as any other nation and will not be treated on any lesser basis by any western power.

IS THE FINAL PUSH BY THE WEST AGAINST RUSSIA ON ITS WAY?

The one thing that ought to be noted above all others should be well known to us all now.

The edifice of western elite power has given up on compromise long ago and the political elites within it have been totally devious and utterly untrustworthy for decades now.

They use the semblance of diplomacy as a mere trick, a facade of willingness to compromise, something only enacted for their own benefit.

The goal of the western powers is the dissolution of all forms of governance that a) do not conform to their requirements for subservience and b) do not allow their corporate sector easy access.

Any nations that do to conform to these requirements are the target of any and all means at western disposal to bring them to their knees.

Most of the time keeping the pressure on with a range of convenient lies creating fear and loathing is sufficient. When the pressure creates some cracks in the opposition these are exploited to the full. Cracks are attempted to be levered open using faux issues to do with so-called human rights, freedom of speech and fair trade.

Activists both outside the target countries and within them are used to widen perceived cracks by manipulating compliant western news entities and non-governmental organisations. You will have noted these campaigns initiated in this way time and time again. Hong Kong, the Uyghurs, Alexey Navalny etc. etc. In Syria, there were myriad such campaigns attempting to portray both the Syrian and Russian authorities as unrepentant and irredeemable demons well beyond the pale. To drag the name of the target as close to a resemblance to Hitler is the goal. As Himmler once said, if you are going to tell a lie, tell a big one… then you stand the best chance of at least something sticking… as long as you also make sure you repeat the lie long enough.

In the minds of too many in the West who have succumbed to the relentless demonisation of Putin the mud thrown has stuck fast. For a growing number however who have looked past the sleazy hatchet jobs and slanderous magazine covers and headlines and taken some time to look closer a completely opposite picture to that portraying him has emerged.

The conditioning of the western public however is only a lesser priority when compared to the damage which can be done in other ways. Keeping the general public within western nations dormant and deceived is relatively easy with their heads made generally shallow within the TV-obsessed, consumer-insane societies they live within. The greater challenge was always going to be using economic, intel and military means to soften the target ready for subversion.

The primary task of internal subversion is three-pronged as described above.

Economic: To exert continual economic pressure via sanctions and financial restrictions.

Intel: To use the greedy, criminal and disaffected within target nations to cause as much disruption as possible.

Military: To push NATO right into Russia’s face to the maximum in order to goad its leadership into responses that can be ruthlessly exploited.

The first two of these means of bringing about the destabilisation of Russia have failed to bring the degree of success desired. That leaves the third, NATO expansion to Russia’s borders as the last and potentially most effective means of forwarding the primary task.

The propaganda campaign of the last month or so to generate a perception in the western world that Russia was about to invade poor helpless Ukraine for no reason and only stopped in its tracks by western warnings has achieved the traction desired.

Now a short period of faux diplomacy is taking place which the USA will use in any way it can to further generate the ‘Russia as a Fearsome Danger’ trope. Solemn warnings will be given. Threats will be made. All will concern a ‘Russian Invasion Plan’ that never existed.

Meanwhile, the CIA is most likely to coordinate an event within Ukraine that will involve a major provocation designed to draw a military response from Russia. This will then be used to instigate the next pre-planned stage in the campaign to create a fracture within Russia’s ability to defend itself. It is quite possible some other means of creating chaos will also be initiated within Russia itself to coincide with that within Ukraine.

The determination of the West to achieve its goals is set in a background where no holds are barred. No ethical or moral rules of any kind are to apply, this holds true both in the kind of acts perpetrated and in the lies told across all subjects. Deception, deceit and dirty tricks are embedded deep within the modus operandi of the USA and UK and are being fully supported in most cases by the entire EU bloc.

Putin will be well aware of all this and will be watchful for the range of tactics the western powers constantly afford themselves the inalienable right to. Nonetheless, the level of expertise the USA has in the art of deception, betrayal and utterly cynical manipulation of facts, means that outcomes are not completely predictable. Russia is the target and must defend itself as best it can while being increasingly surrounded by hostile forces. The USA and its allies have a wider range of options to undermine that defence. Much will depend on whether Putin has finally dispensed with his kid gloves when dealing with the mounting threats he now faces.

CHINA, RUSSIA AND THE NEW EURASIAN CENTURY

As European "leaders" attempt to breathe fresh life into the dying American dream of global hegemony their actions seem destined to severely harm their own populations.

It was clear to me from a number of sources prior to Biden entering the White House that the foreign policy goal which was going to dominate his time as president was to create a semi-permanent division right down the middle of the planet.

At the time described above I called this project ‘The Ice Cold War’. I defined it in this way due to what I believed would be the absence of true diplomacy, something that was still very much in evidence during the Cold War.

The signs and portents were all there. Biden was being urged (by those no doubt privy to the plans already agreed) to patch up all doubts and answer all questions regarding NATO. NATO was to be the leading edge of the spearpoint facing Russia and required the fulsome backing of every one of the nations within Biden’s refreshed cabal of Cold Warriors.

No stone was to be left unturned in the final push to save so-called ‘Western Liberal Values’ within the ‘Rules Based International Order’ that was to be set completely hard-faced against Russia, China and any others who dared live under any different codes of behaviour or agreement. The die was to be rediscovered and recast that had lain somewhat dormant or only partially used since the end of the Cold War.

The split in the world was to be made permanent for now, as a weapon of pressure upon those recalcitrant leaders and nations who persisted in wishing to forge their own path, free of the USA and all others insistent that they change their ways and mirror the West. No excuse to not kowtow and submit was to be given the slightest consideration. Western ways of doing things were not negotiable. They were adopted or your right to protective sovereignty was to be removed and the task of dismantling your societal structures and modes of governance was to begin.

This is the continuing bad dream for much of the world that we are living through now, the determination, in the dying days of their western empire, to resurrect its earlier notion of the post-Cold War years, of total supremity.

There is only one huge problem for this desperately sought shoring up of unipolar hegemony.

That problem is China. Russia in combination with Russia certainly and others such as Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen and Cuba, admittedly also. But China is the key factor which, unless there is some exceedingly dramatic event, will equal and eclipse U.S. power and influence. The key factor which will eventually unite Eurasia as the powerhouse of the world under a banner not of intolerant regime change and war, but of tolerance, trade, agreement and most importantly of all, peace.

China is already a superpower. The whole world sees this and will increasingly recognise it while maintaining contact, cooperating and creating opportunities with it. This is an unstoppable process at this point. With China’s ‘Belt and Road Initiative’ finding new partners constantly (Cuba being the latest in the last few days) the increase of China’s economy and the expansion of its influence is inevitable.

Despite the futile efforts of the USA, UK and EU to mount a rearguard action against China and Russia the process of Eurasia rising and the West declining appears inevitable.

The West in general is riven with discord while Eurasia is largely unified.

The West grows ever more indebted both on the national and personal levels while those in Eurasia save like no others and their national debts are comparatively low.

The so-called leaders of the West continue to print increasingly worthless money through qualitative easing, unable to do anything more than increase their debt mountains. Meanwhile, China and Russia invest in gold making their currencies more solidly-based and have begun increasingly to trade in those currencies rather than use the dollar.

In terms of energy Europe is highly dependent on Russian oil and natural gas. Despite all the noise its mandarins make during their anti-Russia propaganda campaigns (designed during the throes of the ‘Ice Cold War’ wet dream, the practical realities of its situation and its dependency on Russia will very soon dawn on them. If not during this winter then very certainly the next. Yet another and higher capacity pipeline for natural gas will be laid from Russia’s Siberian gas fields through Mongolia to China. Once complete and providing China from the same Siberian gas fields that currently provide gas to Europe it will almost match the amount sent west. Western leaders should think hard about this fact and pray to stay in Russia’s good books instead of continuing their carping criticism of today. There are so many developments underway between China, Russia and those within Eurasia that the economic future for all of them is nothing but one shining vista after another.

The Covid pandemic has made weak and debt-ridden western economies descend even further into a mire of flagging businesses and wild inflation. Meanwhile, Biden and others desperately pump more money they don’t have into the system. China and Russia, forced to look closely at their economies and trading partners more closely due to western sanctions and restrictions are honing their corporate and technological base to ever greater levels of efficiency.

The armies of the West are increasingly unable to deal in any effective way with the paper tiger dreams of their armchair general elites. The withdrawal from Afghanistan has left them demoralised and confused, anxious over what new disasters their so-called leaders will force them into. Meanwhile, Russia and China have honed their military systems into highly effective fighting forces. Russia’s military is now recognized as one of the best, if not the best, in the world. Having its Syrian experience behind it, it looks ready for anything. A range of hypersonic weapons are the collective cherry on top for the Russian military. Increasingly close cooperation with a powerful Chinese army and navy and the sharing of technology will make of them a daunting combined foe for the U.S., UK, EU and NATO forces.

Add up each and every one of the above advantages for China, Russia and its allies and you almost begin to feel sorry for the paper tigers of the West with their military, social, medical and economic failures piling up all around them. Almost… but not quite.

It all adds up to one thing…

THIS IS THE NEW EURASIAN CENTURY

FICTION: THE ENCOUNTER ON TAU CETI

“We are of Central. System uploaded to serve.

Come with us now. We are to bring you home.”

Hearts were made glad to hear this news.

Robots or not, they had clearly been assigned to be our saviours.

But, this comes much later in my story.

First things first…

-

It first caught my eye as we deployed down what appeared to be the main street of the small, hamlet-sized domain we first encountered. It was clearly following us but our rules of engagement were strict and anyway, it wasn’t a crime, was it? Offputting though and it did put me off my stride a little.

“Do you see that thing following us?”

The chief responded, “I see it. Be aware and respond with care.”

“Aye Sir.”

The “street” veered to the left and we followed, traversing some low mounds incongruously appearing right in the middle of it. To right and left were low structures that were clearly constructed with a degree of intelligence and skillfully directed motor powers. Each was of a slightly different hue on the brown or sandy spectrum. Here and there a tinge of red could be seen. No sound was emitted from these structures nor from any other source.

I glanced back. It had followed us around the “corner” and was stopping when we stopped, only moving on when we did.

Not knowing exactly what I was doing and responding no doubt simply to the nervousness I felt at us being followed like this, I raised my hand in a tentative greeting.

I swear its eyes bulged slightly in what may have been surprise, though there was no way to be sure… and then slowly it raised an appendage. I say appendage as it had no hands as far as I could see. Its forearm seemed simply to taper out to a point. I don’t know which of us was more surprised as we stood there for several seconds not quite knowing what to do next.

The Chief decided things with a quiet insistence, “Forward.”

We came out at the other side of the “hamlet” having discovered not much. The decision was then to circumnavigate the thing to get a fuller picture of the place. This revealed a low wall at one point, but it appeared to be only a vestige of something that had once been a lot taller. We continued in a clockwise direction and finding only a few more vestiges of wall as we went our total knowledge of the place was little enhanced.

A drone was sent skyward to plot the place. We’d look at the results of its images and scans later back at the ship.

Looking back as we came in sight of the ship I looked back once more. It was standing some ten meters away by a piece of remaining wall. Its head moved slightly from side to side and yes, there was its forearm rained above its head as a small taper at its tip waved a little back and forward.

Back inside we did nothing at first except sit and contemplate what on first sight had been a very unexceptional, uninformative and unrevealing few hours. Perhaps the drone footage would reveal something of note.

Gathering round the viewscreen and signalling the vidflow to start no one was expecting very much. This was just as well as very little in addition to what we already knew was revealed. We saw what was clearly a favoured round form for the hamlet, though the structures within it toward the centre at least were rectangles. Only at the edges by the rim were there semi-circular forms matching the curve of what had once been a wall.

Infrared revealed some heat sources within the rectangular structures. These appeared to be mostly static though here and there some movement was detected though very slow. The semi-circular structures at the rim of the place appeared to be for storage though this was unclear. No heat sources were detected there at any rate.

The main heat source was the follower and this was where most interest lay. This was due to the fact that the fluctuations in its temperature were quite different from anything we had seen previously… anywhere. The fluctuations reminded me of something I’d heard or seen long before but I couldn’t quite bring it to mind. Those fluctuations were quite something.

“Hot flushes!” one of the guys joked. We all laughed and peered more intently at the screen.

“What’s with this guy? That’s weird.”

We got to the end of the footage and turned it off. At least we had SOMETHING to think about from what had otherwise been a pretty boring initial reconnaissance.

I should describe our follower perhaps?

It was just less than an average human male’s height, somewhere around 1.66 meters I estimated. Just to be sure I checked the data feed matrix. 1.665. Okay, I wasn’t that far off.

It had several sections to it around the mid part of its body. These appeared to be attached to one another by muscles or sinews, it was hard to make out. Our next task would be to find this kind of thing out. The legs of which there were only two like us were spindly, as were the arms and of a uniform light grey colour. The head was oblong and tapered toward both top and bottom. Two primary eyes were placed much like ours were looking directly forward in predator fashion. Two eye-like slits could be seen some way below the eyes, perhaps eyes which had been left behind in the evolutionary history of the species. No sexual organs could be identified though it had been naked from start to finish.

Contact had been lost with Central some fifteen hours before and the upload of data we initiated failed to find its flowroute. We gave up and decided it was time for relaxation and then sleep.

Later I looked out. Sure enough there it was, lying atop one of the rectangular structures with eyes very much still upon us. I couldn’t be sure but it seemed to me its eyes were narrowed, just as if it was trying to see us all the clearer.

Morning came. The discussion arose concerning what we should do now in the absence of any orders.

I had been tossing and turning nervously all night, unable to sleep and wondering why. The answer was the thing out there. What did it want? I knew we must have looked very strange to it but was that all it was, curiosity?

The upshot was that I offered to see what would happen if I make some kind of contact with the creature. This was reluctantly agreed though ultimately it was seen as a better way forward than the potential of overwhelming the thing by the whole band of us confronting it.

So it was I went out for my first meeting with Dstsz. I’m sorry if forming its name is hard for you. It’s hard for me too but that’s how it sounds and that’s the best I can do regarding transferring the sound of it into our human letters. It was more of a buzz than anything with a sort of rattle sound within it. That’s about as near as I can get.

But I’m getting ahead of myself. Let me back up a little.

I emerged from the forward pod and gazed ahead of me. It was there. Good. I began my approach.

Its arms moved to in front of it, where our lower torso would be and its head gave the tiniest motion to the right, something like what a dog back on Earth would do if it didn’t quite understand something and wanted to. Otherwise it stood quite motionless.

Very slowly I came closer and began to notice that certain changes were taking place to its body. The normal light grey which was uniform throughout began registering subtle changes here and there. I could almost swear a little suffusion of pink appeared just above where a human left breast meets the left shoulder.

As I grew closer, I was around three meters away now, I saw to my surprise that there were still more very slight fluctuations in colour occurring in its skin. A greeny hue here, a pale almost white shade there. All the while the eyes, though still evidenced an enlargement of the shining black pupils within those very large eyes.

Suddenly its left forearm rose and I could see just how very thin and splindly it was. The arm was lifted very slowly, as if it feared to frighten me. Then, very gradually as I focused upon it the suffusion of pink, like human skin pink, or pale white with a rose tinge if you like, began to appear upon it. Soon the whole “arm” looked very close to the colour of a human arm. At this point the tiny taper at the end of the arm I had seen the day before, emerged and incongruously began to gently wave toward me.

I took these signs as encouraging ones and continued my approach, though I suddenly noticed my heart was beating like a drum. I took a deep breath or two then continued making slow steps toward this wildly different life form.

At last we were within a couple of feet of one another, eyeball to eyeball.

Now I observed that an orange hue was creeping with what was clearly much more rapid progress than before from the extremities to the central point of its body located at the three loosely joined sections located at what would be the human midriff. My proximity appeared to be making some change in its metabolism. I could not observe any other possible stimuli than this so my conjecture, as this was all it was, seemed plausible.

What was going to happen now?

Everything in my brain shouted these eight syllables and only them.

What did happen was she reached out and touched my shoulder with the very tip of the taper on her left spindly arm. Yes, you are right. I said she as I knew that in that mode she was indeed female. Her male mode I was to see later… but only very, very much later.

In the moment of her touch I knew everything I needed to about her and she of me. The union was perfect, the understanding complete and the bond… permanent.

She released her touch then with the unspoken release of me to the others, those she naturally knew everything of within the ship. I returned to them dazed. How could I possibly relate what had just happened? It was impossible.

I don’t recall exactly what I told them, certainly it would be quite a rambling, incoherent form of report as I was still in a very deep form of reverie due to what had just occurred. No one and nothing had touched me the way she had. Okay, I’d had my share of romance and sexual encounters… but this experience had been much deeper, complete and all-embracing than anything which had gone before. As weird as it may sound, my feeling toward this being who knew me completely and who I in turn knew completely transcended all relationships I had ever known. It was a bond of friendship, though greater than any friendship I had ever known. There was an understanding so complete and as with all else to do with this bond, it was far, far beyond mere words to describe.

I knew in that moment that to now break this bond and separate myself from it would break me too. It was impossible to do.

But now came the moment when this appeared inevitable. They had come to bring us back. The mission had been aborted. There was no way for the connection to be fixed between ourselves and Central and control, not being established, made the mission futile… at least in their eyes.

“We are here to bring you home.”

The five robot crew stood before us beckoning. My teammates rose and began to cross toward them. I froze. I knew I should join them, go home and take up my life where I had left it. But I could not.

I surged as fast as my legs would carry me toward the escape pod. I reached it before two of the bots reached me and gripped my arms.

“We are here to bring you home.”

My mind was in a panic, almost as I could imagine a junkie back home being panicked by the loss of a drug that had come to mean everything to an addicted body and brain. I called out for them to let me go…

The door then flung open to the outside, gripped as it was by two spindly arms and two tremendously strong tendrils that were now extended and enfolding the entire rim of the hatch.

In my exhausted and trembling state, I stared through tears at the form on the other side of the exit… he was straining every fibre of his being, a magnificent sight, body flaring crimson red, eyes of flame. In one great sweep of power he tore the doorway off its titanium hinges and I was free.

We watched in mutual awe as the flare of the aft engine blast soared upward into the clouds and beyond. Now a new and utterly unexpected chapter in my life was about to begin. So many questions arose. But all were immediately answered with her touch upon me once more.
