ATROCITIES AGAINST THE PALESTINIANS OF GAZA & RUSSIANS OF THE DONBASS

The genocidal acts of Israel against the civilian population of Gaza has received worldwide condemnation, though with major reservations in the nations which constitute the collective west as led by the USA and Britain. This abhorrence of powerful military powers acting in ways that cause the deaths of tens of thousands of civilians quite naturally rises in each sensitive human heart.

These acts of callous brutality by Israel have been widely reported, even in western major newspapers and television news channels. The extent of the missile barrage against Gaza has made it impossible for these outlets to ignore them. This has not always been the case in such circumstances however.

A very similar scenario played itself out between 2014 and the years after, including to the present day, without anything approaching the coverage afforded to the carnage going on in Gaza. This scenario was maintained in almost radio silence (though with narratives broadcast that presented a completely false picture of events).  

In the case above there was no outrage expressed, primarily due to the almost total lack of coverage of those events along with the false narrative that was constructed around them.

In the spring of 2014 the Donbass region of Ukraine where Russian-speakers formed the overwhelming majority was isolated from the rest of Ukraine by a siege. Military roadblocks were set up by the Ukrainian army to control access in and out of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of the Donbass. in addition, mortars, and later artillery, were set up able to fire indiscriminate rounds into these areas. The mortar shells and missiles fired at random into these conurbations tended to hit the taller structures, high-rise apartment blocks built during the era of the Soviet Union, hospitals and schools. Those that did not hit these exploded in town centres and village homes.

2014 and 2015 were the worst years of this deluge of Ukrainian attacks. Thousands died, civilian men, women and children of all ages, the elderly, babies, every age group. Yet did you read of this at the time? Do you have any recollection of articles which stated who was responsible? What you will have read and heard was that this was due to “the Russians”, yet the Russians were not those who had laid siege to Donetsk and Lugansk and not those who were on a daily basis firing mortar shells and missiles into them.

The tally of civilian deaths WERE reported briefly on western television channels and in western newspapers… but never any indication of who perpetrated them. The implication, due to constant reference to them was that it was “the Russians”. This however was then and is now a barefaced lie. The unacceptable truth to western political and media elites was (and still is) that it was (and still is) the Ukrainians who target civilians, not the Russians.

Expert opinion will tell you that the very basis of the Russian campaign, as limited as it was and is, tells you that the intent was to engage in a limited operation, not a war. If Russia had wished to wage war against Ukraine it would have mirrored wars of the past, especially those waged by the USA in the Middle East, wars of ‘Shock and Awe’. But Russia never for a moment wished to do this. Russia has attempted to avoid at every turn the death of Ukrainian civilians who the Russian people know are brother and sister Slavs.

The above is in stark contrast to the behaviour of the ultra-violent and sadistic nature of a minority in western Ukraine who look to Hitler’s Nazis and their Ukrainian “heroes” who assisted them against the Russians. This vile minority of Ukrainians wished to see the entire Russian-speaking majority in the Donbass region either killed or driven out.

A case in point which demonstrates the desire of this minority of Ukrainians to kill Russians, civilian or military alike, occurred this very day with a missile strike on a Russian town by the name of Belgorod which lies just across the Ukrainian border in Russia. This strike hit the main square where a Christmas tree stands and where everyday Russians were enjoying a day with their families in anticipation of the New Year of 2024. Two children were killed. A number of people were seriously injured.

This is not by any means the only occasion when these Ukrainians have directly targeted civilians. The level of racist hatred felt against all Russian-speakers motivates these people to target them on a constant basis. Each day since spring 2014 when they first arrived in the Donbass has seen attacks by mortar shell, butterfly mines (which look like green mini planes lying in grass or on pavements but which explode destroying limbs) and missiles have killed and injured civilians and hit civilian targets. These attacks are ongoing and though Russian forces have made significant headway in removing the source of these attacks there is still some way to go.

You will have heard none of this from western media or from politicians. These facts do not fit the narrative of “the evil enemy” and the “faultless allies”. You are being told lies on a daily basis, knowing lies, carefully constructed misinformation and cynically sown false narratives designed to keep you supporting the slaughter.

So remember, next time you react in absolute disgust and justified anger against the genocidal acts of Israel, those very similar acts of horror conducted over a far longer period against the Russian-speaking people of the Donbass, and which continue to this day keeping them in a perpetual, West-mandated media vacuum of unreported injury, trauma, death and destruction.

Russia's campaign in Ukraine will end in a Russian victory. Western elites know it. But a narrative of "victory for Ukraine" will be asserted. Thereafter... western elite silence & issue avoidance.

It may be hard to believe but soon you will hear nothing at all about Ukraine through mainstream media outlets.

Just as you used to hear, almost by the hour about Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria then nothing, soon there will be complete radio silence on Ukraine.

This has happened every time western nations engage in a bout of violence and propaganda, fail miserably, then crawl away from whatever nation they have been beating remorselessly and go silent.

The half million children that died needlessly through the sanctions on Iraq even before the West began its orgy of violence… forgotten.

Abu Ghraib and all the sordid images that arose from that misbegotten site of torture, sexual abuse and rampant sadism… forgotten.

The weapons of mass destruction in Iraq that somehow just couldn’t be found after Bush, Blair, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Powell and the rest of those vile liars said they had proof they were there… forgotten.

And soon too, the 20,000 plus dead Palestinian civilians and upward of 8,000 dead Palestinian children… forgotten (at least by mainstream media).

The next in line is Ukraine. Russia is readying herself to win big there and do what she determined to do at the outset. 

There will be no modern-day Nazis able to find support in Ukraine. Those that thought it was a cool idea to be Nazis by wearing swastika tattoos, developing sadistic mindsets, anti-Russian, racist views and a hunger to kill people will find that shaved heads and bloodlust is unwelcome and sneered at in the new Ukraine.

The Ukrainian military will shrink to ceremonial, state-occasion only size with very few wishing to join its ranks.

Once the present abhorrent regime is gone along with its psychopathic president a new Ukraine will arise (if there is anything left of Ukraine at all).

Western mainstream editors and commentators will lose interest.

Western politicians will think better of mentioning Ukraine and avoid difficult questions on it wherever possible.

This above however, will come after the fig-leaf lies designed to make it appear that the West and the Kiev regime won a resounding victory by denying Russia the entirety of Ukraine. The entirety of Ukraine that never wanted. The entirety of Ukrainian-speaking Ukraine that Russia wouldn’t touch with a barge pole (as they say in the UK).

But once that bullshit stage to cover asses in Washington, Whitehall and Brussels is all delivered in one big stinky mess and the idea of anyone being responsible for the half a million Ukrainian deaths has been put to one side… then will come the silence, the unbroken silence. And the disappearance of every single Ukrainian flag everywhere.

VOLODOMYR ZELENSKYY: THE UNLUCKIEST MAN ON THE PLANET

He was once well liked in his native land. Loved even. Why wouldn’t he be? He had made people laugh and had starred in a TV series that inspired so much hope in the population that he was elected president in a landslide.

What did that hope consist of?

Volodomyr Zelensky said he was going to end the conflict that had been raging in his country since 2014. The TV series where he played the part of a politician seeking to end political corruption was a smash hit. It’s name was ‘Servant of the People’ and this was the name he subsequently chose for the political party he would form.

The hope he generated in the Ukrainian population then was that the bloody conflict in southeastern Ukraine would end and, into the bargain Zelensky would lead a government of non-politicians who would end corruption in their nation. These hopes were generated out of sheer desperation and exasperation. They had, had enough disappointment, fear, turmoil and rampant chaos and disorder to last several lifetimes. They wanted out. They wanted a fresh start. This is why they chose Zelenskyy and his people.

So, what’s the problem? It all worked out didn’t it? Good old Zelenskyy achieved both goals he had set for himself. Didn’t he? Sadly not.

Those first few months of the Zelenskyy presidency were indeed hopeful. He had sworn to bring peace with Russia and he had set in place mechanisms which aimed to end the rampant corruption Ukraine was known for across Europe. Then he hit a massive roadblock.

Those who had brought his predecessor to power through a violent insurrection which overturned both the democratically-elected president and his government, had no intention of letting Zelenskyy do as he promised. And they had all the means necessary to stop him. They, and the neo-Nazi militias they belonged to were heavily armed and utterly dedicated to their ultra-violent methods of influence.

The turning point for Zelenskyy appears to have been certain personal confrontations which occurred when he travelled to the front lines to insist Ukrainian militants withdraw to a point he had agreed with the OSCE, the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe. They refused to move and refused to accept his authority to order them to move.

This was the start of the process that would lead Volodymyr Zelenskyy to become the unluckiest man in the world. He had met a determined, ruthless and utterly determined object. There can be no doubt at all that it was here in this confrontation that he was told that if he pursued the promise of peace that he had made that he was a dead man.

Soon after the encounter above Zelenskyy would transform himself from a man seeking peace to a man waging war. His statements after this time would never reflect someone interested in a peaceful resolution of differences with Russia. He began speaking of Ukraine regaining its nuclear status and, while he attended the meetings discussing the purported route to peace, the Minsk Accords, he did so with a smirk knowing they were only a stalling mechanism while Ukraine built its forces to better wage war.

As was to be expected after seeking every possible way forward to a peaceful outcome but having each one rejected by the West, Russia finally and reluctantly mounted a military campaign to achieve a final end to the war that had begun in 2014.

It was only a month into Russia’s campaign when peace talks were convened. These eventually bore fruit with something approaching an agreement between both sides. However, in his second unlucky decision Zelenskyy allowed himself to be persuaded to end these talks and continue the war instead.

Now Zelenskyy was doubly cursed. He had moved from peacemaker to warmonger and now delivered a dictum that there would be no more talks. The die was cast. There could be no return for him to the role of peacemaker or to pursuing the promise of an end to the war that he had achieved electoral victory for him.

This double lock on any turning back was enforced most of all by the threat to his life if he even made the slightest move toward reconciling differences with the Russians. Not once, ever, could he voice any desire in that direction or he, and most likely his family, would be immediately put to death. Zelensky knew the people who threatened this could easily do so, no matter where he hid, even if it was in the furthest corner of the world.

Once lauded as a great hero, one compared to the likes of Sir Winston Churchill, currently he is treated pretty much as a bad smell, an uninvited and extremely unwelcome guest. How the so-called mighty are fallen, huh? It's impossible to see him returning to his former career. He is only a bad joke now. In his brown garb he just might find a job as a toilet attendant, but even that lowly mode of employment is uncertain.

So, he is now, at the end stage of the deadly game he's been playing, a tragic figure, locked into a single path from which he cannot and must not deviate. Mouthing only and ever the same maximalist, anti-Russian rhetoric about a never attainable victory while he urges ever more Ukrainians to die in their thousands in what is clearly now and in fact always was, a lost cause.

However, if he takes the part he is acting to the absolute limit and only walks off that stage at the final moment as Russia wins and the curtain falls, perhaps the neo-Nazis he has obeyed all this time will relent and let him live. But… will the nearest and dearest of the half million who died due to the part he played? Or might they much more likely take swift revenge, stringing him up alongside his wife on the nearest lamp post as they did Mussolini and his dear sweetheart? The chances they will are pretty high.

These are the reasons why Zelenskyy is the unluckiest man on the planet, having moved from being a much-loved comic and bit-part actor seeking to bring peace and joy to the world… to an automaton, a hapless and robotic figure trapped into causing endless horror, and very likely the demise of his entire nation.

THE MURDEROUS CYNICISM OF WESTERN POLITICAL PSYCHOPATHS NOW IN STARK FOCUS

Western barbarism is currently all too evident due to the genocidal desire of the Israeli extremists and their American backers to either wipe the Palestinians off the map or else ethnically cleanse them completely out of the Israelis’ sight.

As if the slaughtering of Afghans, Iraqis, Libyans and Syrians was not enough for them, the collective white races of the West seek for ever more blood to flow. Callous decisions based upon a desire for continued fascistic superiority and hegemonic dominance has killed every last iota of conscience these monsters ever had.

The diseased minds that came to power across the collective west after the events of 9/11 are sociopathic in nature. Not a shred of empathy passes through their cold-blooded minds as they rabidly seek to expand their hegemony using whatever murderous devices that come to hand. Shoring up their sadistic acts is an ever-expanding litany of lies and false narratives. As they become ever more desperate so too become their lies more obvious.

Having lost in Afghanistan after twenty years there they are now losing in Ukraine… and, it is becoming clearer by the day that they are losing now in Gaza and through Gaza across the entire Middle East. These are geopolitical losers on a colossal scale, mental midgets who have the military power to be absolute monsters. Their deeds will never be forgotten until they are retired and as soon as possible to the dustbin of history.

The manic violence of the western world with all its greed-driven undertones of psychotic cold-blooded aggression will pass from history within the lifetime of most of us. No more will one region of the planet deign to rule, manipulate, dominate and punish the rest. The banishment of these low-browed and bloody-handed creatures truly cannot come soon enough. A new and better world without them is now eagerly awaited and worked toward daily.

The western monsters will hugely deserve the wrath of the world majority of nations now increasingly turning in disgust from them. Just as those with a normal level of self-awareness turn from those who are serial killers among us. The political and media spheres of influence have long been a target for the socialised psychopaths who are their mental brethren. These vile souls have been the scourge of the world long enough. It is well overdue that we be rid of them… for good and all. And for the good of all.

2024: AFTER RUSSIA WINS IN UKRAINE. WHAT THEN?

When Russia rolls over what is left of the Ukrainian defence belt built to imprison the people of the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine over the years since 2014, the reaction of the western press, media and politicians will be extremely interesting.

Having built an entire mythology around their anointed hero of Kiev, Volodmyr Zelensky and exclaimed how the mighty Ukrainian army were defeating the Russians at every turn, the story they tell is going to have to be good.

At first there will be a kind of stunned radio silence hoping nobody notices that the Russians have won. This will be similar in many ways to the approach to various other failures and criminal acts of the western powers in the past. Such as those in Afghanistan, Libya, the Abu Ghraib scandal and much else besides.

After a period of mourning within editing suites and political briefing rooms the most likely thing to emerge is that good old solve-all, the alternative truth. This fictional reality is likely to go something like this:

“Russia completely failed in its unprovoked campaign to occupy Ukraine. President Zelensky and his indomitable troops faced down the Russians with incredible bravery and fortitude, denying the Russians their victory. Held back from overrunning Ukraine the Russians were fought to a standstill, unable to come anywhere near their goal of occupying Ukraine in its entirety!”

This narrative and variants of it will provide the necessary public relations fig-leaf and nicely sanitised soft landing for western audiences weaned on the litany of fabrications they had imbibed from the same sources since February 24th, 2022. Most will grasp this sop to their potentially injured sensitivities and hold it to their breasts like a security blanket.

After this deluge of obfuscation and hard fact avoidance all those still looking in will be invited to turn their attention to the evil doings of the next neocon target down the line, almost inevitably China or Iran. News items concerning Ukraine will become extremely sparse if there are indeed any to be found at all in this wake for the West’s total failure there.

Historians and academics will attempt to provide their analyses to the general public as they have done since this whole West-instigated mess began. But there will be few takers. Those who knew precisely what was going on all along will not need their memories refreshed. And those who didn’t, those headline surfers and mainstream news addicts will have absolutely no wish to have their noses thrust into the alternate history MSM ordure they imbibed for so long.

The state-approved western-oriented history of the Ukraine conflict will be used as the foundation of any required responses to journalistic enquiries in similar manner to the responses of Bush and Blair after the complete absence of WMDs in Iraq and the inconvenient presence of hundreds of thousands of corpses, many of them children. Apart from these it will all be hushed up, brushed under the carpet and given the heavily blinkered treatment by all and sundry to the last days of their bloody-fingered, sorry lives.

THIS IS THE GREATEST PARADOX OF OUR GEOPOLITICAL TIMES

The paradox spoken of in the title above involves one nation in particular though the factors involved represent a far broader context including a great many more nations than this.

The essential details involve the current struggle to maintain traditional ways of life that are now subject to attack, attacks which threaten to entirely eliminate them.

The nations whose policies clearly threaten the traditional ways of life mentioned above are generally regarded, at least by themselves, as paragons of virtue. Therein lies the paradox which is the subject of this commentary.

The USA prides itself on welcoming diversity. Its leaders point to the many freedoms afforded to its populace. The country is a melting point of ideas as well as nationalities, ethnicities and religious faiths. This is of course to a large degree healthy, however within this heady mix of diversity and freedom trends often emerge which seek to denigrate traditional mores and to eliminate them through vocal denigration. In recent years a prime example of this is the so-called ‘woke’ movement.

In the global south, or what might more accurately called the nations constituting the ‘global majority’, traditional values continue to hold sway in most nations where western-style levels of affluence have not so far reached the general population. In these nations, not far removed from earlier quite impoverished conditions, traditional values have long been a means to hold their societies together. These long-trusted means of social cohesion remain a valued and integral part of daily life.

You might say where’s the problem? The USA and the affluent liberal democracies of the UK and European Union can have their social freedoms, socially detrimental or not, the level of living standards can afford any upheaval caused. The poorer, more traditionally-minded nations can keep their traditions if they wish. No one is forcing them to change. This is however, the nub of the problem. There is indeed a drive to force them to change.

The general attitude in the western world is that, in a few words, ‘The West is Best’, that it is there that the most enlightened attitudes can be found, and that the nations of the rest of the world should learn best how to govern themselves and live their lives from them. If this was only advice given through words alone it could safely be ignored if necessary, however much more than words are used to effect the changes in others that western leaders think fit to make.

Whether under the guise of ‘The War on Terror’ or through a long history of western Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) seeking change across the world or, going even further back the colonial era when western officials and Christian missionaries sought to “improve” those they found in foreign lands, we can see that the drive to mould others to western ways has a long history.

The political, economic and military powers of western nations have long provided the leverage with which their leaders have presumed to shape the world and through which they have, until now, maintained their dominant position. In spite of this the majority of nations subject to western influence have by one means or another managed to cling on to their long-held traditional ways of life. Now, with the geopolitical changes currently underway, they have begun to fight back against the tide of ‘know best’ rhetoric from the West.

Notable among those who first began to vocally resist western dominance is the Russian Federation and its president, Vladimir Putin. This can be traced back most cogently to the address he gave to a security congress in Munich, Germany in February 2007. His message, simply put, was that the Russian Federation would maintain its independence of sovereignty, culture, world view and traditions in defiance of any attempt by any nation or group of nations to decide what was best for it.

For his impudence in rejecting foreign influence in respect of how Russians should conduct their affairs he was, from those moments of his Munish address, considered a world pariah by the western powers and every means possible was brought to bear to oust him from power. The effect of 9/11 had been to drain the western political elites of their willingness to ‘live and let live’. They had decided that the world must now be transformed to reflect their values, and by force wherever necessary.

So, where lies the paradox? It lies in the objective reality that in Russia and elsewhere it can be seen that the levels of integrity, decency, abidance by the law, diligence in the fields of both work and family, trustworthiness and religious tolerance are strongest while in the West they are in fact, weakest. The new intolerance and rush to judgement, use of military violence, political and media disinformation and much else across western nations, particularly against Russia, has initiated a new war against those its leaders consider are in need of alteration, and indeed elimination.

Daily, we can hear western leaders pontificate on matters relating to local issues on the other side of the world as if they are the final arbiters of all things. Ultimate judge, jurors and executioners also. These long-standing attitudes are now being questioned by the world majority of nations who have managed to maintain their traditions and do not recognise western nations as paragons of virtue. Quite the opposite in fact.

This then is where the paradox lies, the geopolitical paradox of our times.

Those who lead the, until now, affluent and powerful West can clearly seen to be the most corrupted of societies where scandals of all kinds in all fields of endeavour can be found, social, political, financial and economic. Though these elements can be found all across the world it cannot be ignored that they are prevalent to the highest degree in those nations whose leaders who would have us believe they are virtually perfect in every way.

While the leaders of western nations can be heard on a daily basis pronouncing their verdict on matters occurring far distant from their shores, most others are focused on their own nation’s affairs. Vladimir Putin is one such and it is an obvious fact that he has raised Russia almost from the dead since the fall of the Soviet Union. And by the words of high state officials in the USA he is a man of integrity who can be trusted to do as he says.

The mass fabrication of disinformation stemming from the western world since Putin’s Munich speech has been constant as has been the relentless driving of NATO towards Russia’s borders. However, despite the myriad slanderous statements made about Putin, the allegations without evidence, the constant waterfall of invective aimed at him, he has remained calm with only a highly reasoned and reasonable response to all. 

Those spewing invective toward Putin and the Russian authorities demonstrate the paradox being spoken of here better than any words contained within this commentary. You may use the well-known phrase concerning the pot calling the kettle black. After the mass illegality of the many wars of choice indulged in by the western powers you might think they ought to have no right to speak at all. Yet still they harangue others who have done no such things as the self-appointed arbiters of all that is right and proper as the most saintly and virtuous of all.

What is the world approaching as we engage in our Christmas celebrations this year? A universal belief in affording goodwill to all men and women? Or only to some... to those who think as we do?

It was Christmas Eve, the year of Our Lord 2023 and every home was preparing for the annual festival of peace, harmony and presents for the kids. Snow fell here and there, bringing an extra special level of Christmas cheer to those households fortunate enough to be within those weather zones.

In a world of troubles the perennial feelings of festive happiness arose in most hearts still.

2023 had been a hard year to get through with a heart imbued with the desired lightness that most sought. 2022 before it had been the same. An almost alien presence had burdened those hearts. Further consumption had failed to totally overcome the threat that seemed to linger in the very air and particularly in the coughs and sneezes of fellow humans.

There was an awareness that the world was splitting into two halves with the fracture points threatening endless war. Wasn’t this meant to be a world free from strife where we all got along? Wasn’t this what consumers were told, if by subtle means of inference, celebrating all the new seductive products the manufacturers had to sell? The ads continued to say said “Don’t worry. Our products will make you happy. Forget what’s happening a while.”

Malls were still full of course. Myriad confections and gadgets were on display. The usual array of happy-go-lucky and sentimental Christmas movies were doing good business. The children, oblivious to anything other than the delights of Christmas and the presents to come played and laughed as usual. All seemed relatively normal within the emotion-enclosed vacuum chamber of Christmas joy.

Walking through snowy or rainy streets after the ritual of considering and buying presents for everyone within the family circle, having delivered the e-cards and bought the turkey and tree, all most likely felt well. There would be lots of special entertainments on TV and classic movies to watch. The general urge was to put all heavier subjects out of sight and out of mind for now. Sadly, this state of self-imposed reverie was not to last.

It was a few seconds after midnight on Christmas Day when the first missile reached its target. Central Moscow had lost its most renowned location, the Kremlin. Only seconds later the square mile around Beijing’s administrative quarter was also no more. Two additional targets in both cities were also hit in the capitals as a rain of missiles hit a range of other targets across a range of cities in both Russia and China. Unknown to those who had been charged with creating a wall of defence around these nations the USA had checkmated all their efforts.

It was simply impossible for the USA and its allies to contemplate the loss of their abilities to steer the course of humanity’s long road on Planet Earth. The inevitable consequence of China and Russia rising in economic terms meant that the influence of the elites of the western world would wane in direct proportion. This was entirely unacceptable to them and certain recent world events had brought them to this final act.

The situations in both Ukraine and Taiwan had come to a head, mostly through the pressure exerted by the western powers seeking to take both Russia and China to their limits of toleration. Time was running out for the western powers. For a variety of reasons including the failure of the Ukraine regime’s counteroffensive and the continued support of Russia by the nations of the global south it was clear the western powers were losing. They had seen the trend of a rising east and a declining west becoming ever more pronounced for several decades and the critical phase had now been reached. Beyond this point, they saw the window of their opportunity to regain their dominance closing. Now was the time to act.

The decision had not been taken lightly, though harder heads had prevailed throughout the decades-long decision-making process. It was agreed it was now or never. The circumstances provided an existential threat and they could no longer delay their inevitable last option. They had long decided on this final act. It had only been a matter of time while other options, seen as largely unlikely to make any serious difference, were given time to run their course.

Everything had been calculated to the minutest degree. The whereabouts of both Putin and Xi had been precisely known for many years due to satellite contingencies that remained unrevealed to world media. The defence matrix of both nations too had been mapped in precise form and contingencies developed to monitor them too in precise detail. The final nail in the coffin of weakening the adversary powers had been their development of hypersonic weaponry and their cooperation in sharing these technologies.

So it was that Christmas Day 2023 would go down in the emotional memory of those across Eurasia as one of the most evil forms of geopolitical infamy ever known. This while in the West every mainstream media news source called it a "tragic necessity", leading to “an end of the threat to the rules-based international order”, that had been brought about by Russian and Chinese aggression.

Half the world burned while the other put into action their contingency plans to contain the consequent anger and neutralise its effects. The western world had long been a virtually closed system for decades and now it was only necessary to close down the remaining independent voices who might communicate their “disinformation” and “fake news” taking a hostile view to these “sad but necessary” actions by the western powers. Satellite coverage would be expanded to ‘monitor the peace’ and eliminate the possibility of any future threats to it.

All were urged to look forward to a new world and era of peace in the year ahead. 2024 was to herald a new dawn for humanity where democracy, freedom and universal human rights were to be afforded to all the Earth’s populations. The danger from opposition forces to this noble goal was ended. Now the world could unite and the Space Force above would ensure that every citizen would now be free from fear, be continually watched over, guided and protected from false opinions and all this now for eternity.

It was to be the happiest Christmas for all who believed in freedom, ready now to protect that freedom and resolutely crush all who might threaten it, in the name of the Lord God above.

IT WAS CHRISTMAS EVE, THE YEAR OF OUR LORD, 2023 - SCENARIO TWO.

What is the world approaching as we engage in our Christmas celebrations this year? A universal belief in affording goodwill to all men and women? Or only to some... to those who think as we do?

Christmas was being celebrated across most of the world and, as usual, most fervently in the western world where consumption was reaching its seasonal peak. In Moscow and Beijing however, the business of leadership and governance went on as usual.

Vladimir and Xi kept in close contact due to the highly critical juncture for their countries which had now reached its climax. In both Ukraine and Taiwan, the USA and its allies were hard at work creating mounting pressure on both leaders.

The forces of NATO across the ex-Soviet nations of the Warsaw Pact were increasing their presence by the day, while the NATO leadership showed no signs whatsoever that this process would be brought to an end. In Taiwan U.S. military forces were active while the political elite in Washington made no secret of their plans to recognise the island as an independent state. This was an outcome that was completely unacceptable to China. The situation had reached a position of impasse for both nations and to continue in the hope of some change within the West was clearly futile.

There would be no better time to act than during this time when the necessity to grant personnel leave to enjoy the Christmas festivities with their families would mean some, if not all, posts were unoccupied. 

The decision to act now had not come lightly. The leadership in both countries had exercised immense patience over the past several decades, partly due to the remaining hope that the USA could not possibly countenance a world war in pursuit of its aims, partly out of certain economic and technological weaknesses now resolved.

It was with a heavy heart in both capitals that the campaign now about to be initiated had been drawn up. It had been hoped that the push for complete global dominance by the USA would be abandoned when the inevitable outcome of a world war was realised in Washington. It was clear to both leaders now that there would be no such moment.

The USA had become the most dominant world force prior to World War II but it was in the aftermath of that war and subsequent years that its strength was shown in the ability to mould the new geopolitical architecture of Europe and the Far East. Then, at the conclusion of the Cold War, it demanded full recognition of its status as the unipolar superpower. It was in this fervour of nationalist pride in its supreme power to dominate the entire world that it began its push toward Russia’s borders. Then came 9/11.

9/11 resulted in the demand from within the elite political superstructure of America that any and all entities demonstrating any opposition to U.S. power be eliminated. A program was initiated to attack, weaken, undermine, subvert or invade each and every such nation, starting with Afghanistan, then Iraq and ultimately including the nations of both China and Russia. At first, the enormity of this desire was not fully appreciated in either Moscow or Beijing and it was only with great reluctance that the awful fact of this goal became accepted.

It was from the middle to the end of 2021 that the response came. First from Beijing with a new breed of officials who began to speak plainly and authoritatively and in no uncertain terms in response to U.S. accusations, demands and ultimatums. In the latter part of 2021 Russia also hardened her official stance against the obvious and growing threat from the USA, UK and their allies. No attempt at resolving differences was being made by the West. To all intents and purposes, diplomacy was dead and buried. The USA wanted full spectrum dominance by the elimination of all those who they saw as adversaries and indeed if truth be told, enemies. They were targets for destruction and diplomacy could only delay the day of that destruction.

In Moscow and Beijing, there were now no longer any illusions about American plans for them. An existential threat to them by the West was abundantly clear and there could be no doubt of the outcome if they merely voiced their opposition in the hope it would relent. It had become clear to the leadership of both nations that it would take more than words to enable the continued survival of their nations, their cultures and their right to national sovereignty and security.

Russia was winning its special military operation in Ukraine but clearly saw that the western powers were not going to concede the new security architecture for Europe that Russia required to feel safe. The assumption was more and more clearly felt that the USA and its allies were not going to restrain themselves to any degree whatsoever in the face of their imminent defeat. A nuclear strike by the USA and its closest ally, Britain at the very least, if not from NATO bases across Europe appeared highly likely.

So it was that on Christmas Eve 2023 as it was celebrated in the West in the seconds after twelve midnight heralding Christmas Day that the plan long developed in coordination between Moscow and Beijing was enacted.

In the years preceding this point of determinate action all necessary technologies had been developed including the hypersonic capability that would now be crucial to the task. In addition, the ability to block western defence systems had now been honed to as near perfection as possible. Everything was ready for what would now take place.

The coordination of hitting both Washington, Whitehall, Brussels and NATO HQ concurrently was extremely precise. Every strategic location had long been mapped in precise detail. The current location of every last member of the command structure of every western nation was precisely known on a moment by moment basis. Subsequently, a flurry consisting of thousands of missiles powered by hypersonic technology of all sizes hit targets precisely across the western world.

The massively dangerous capacity of the West was swiftly neutralised. Mopping up operations detected and neutralised what remained of lesser targets in a second wave coming moments after the first. The final world war was over in seconds. The elites of the West had brought on their own destruction while seeking the destruction of others. 

A third and lesser wave came moments after the initial two waves of devastation. Then came the messages of reassurance to the general populations of those countries hit hardest. A new world was being born this night, a world where one nation or group of nations would no longer dominate, where diverse modes of governance would not determine whether a nation was an enemy and thus a target but where trade would build tolerance between all nations. The solemn assurance was made in live broadcasts by both Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping that neither Russia nor China would seek to replace the USA in its stance of sole superpower but that the era of multipolar democracy had now arrived.

A new world was to arise from the ashes of the old. The overwhelming hubris and arrogance that had personified the western world’s stance to all the nations of the world as evidenced in its constant flouting of international law were never to be seen again. The world could now move on toward the destiny all balanced hearts had endlessly hoped for, a world of unity in diversity, of tolerance, of rising standards, increased trade, of harmony of purpose, tolerance for differences of all kinds and most importantly of all… a world where peace was ever sought, never war.

THE WEST HAS FALLEN DOWN A SINKHOLE TO BANANA REPUBLIC STATUS

How much state illegality can any nation’s leaders indulge in while they pose as saintly upholders of a ‘rules based system’? Like being a little bit pregnant they could be said to be somewhat honest. Most crooks would probably say the same. But when do little white lies become big black ones? Perhaps when it comes to upholding the human rights of refugees and refraining from taking money that doesn’t belong to you?

The idea has been floated in recent days that forcing men who have fled from the war in Ukraine back home to be sent to the front (where around 800 are dying or being wounded each day). This is the very reason they left Ukraine. The law on refugees is quite clear. You don’t send them back to a war zone where they risk being killed or wounded. But it seems that those with political power in the collective west are determined to do just this.

Then we have the next big idea that flouts not only international law but arguably all laws since they began to be codified. Thou Shalt Not Steal. The powers that be in the European Union have long been looking for a way to take the money of all Russians that have been frozen in European bank accounts. Whether you support the Ukrainian regime and wish every possible financial assistance be given it, or not, the name for this endeavour, however you dress it up, is theft.

There has been a certain clearly visible track record of this kind of activity stretching back to at least George W. Bush’s war in Iraq. Remember what they called torture after a long search for the right words to call it? Those words ended up being ‘enhanced interrogation techniques’. 

Then there was the name the political elites of the USA found instead of prisoners of war in the previous campaign to that in Iraq. For those taken from Afghanistan (some of whom there was no evidence against, their having been offered up for a reward by other Afghanis) and brought to the camp in Guantanamo Bay. To have called them prisoners of war they would then have to be afforded some rights. But as ‘Enemy Combatants’ suddenly they need to be afforded no rights at all. Torture (waterboarding) could be applied to them along with other ‘enhanced interrogation techniques’.

You will recall the abuses at Abu Ghraib in Afghanistan which demonstrated what happens when you cover your crimes with alternative names that are convenient for PR purposes but which are deadly for those who suffer, mostly in silence, far from any oversight by the authorities who are normally assigned to ensure people are not treated in this way.

The political elites of the western world are obsessed with winning the war against Russia that they have chosen to fight. Despite Russia attempting for the best part of a decade to resolve its problems with the West via Ukraine, the political elites of the West had other ideas. An entire series of fabrications over that near decade were communicated via the western mainstream media to provide a totally false picture of events. Naming Russia as the aggressor is one of the fabrications that is still in use on a daily basis in the West.

Russia was the one attempting to find a peaceful solution to the situation in eastern Ukraine. It was Angela Merkal, Francoise Hollande, Petro Poroshenko and Volodymyr Zelensky who were not. In recent times both Merkel and Poroshenko have said that they had no intention of fulfilling the United Nations mandated Minsk Accords but merely used them to provide time for Ukraine to re-arm.

Then there was the promise given by almost a round dozen of the West’s then political elites to Mikhail Gorbachev that NATO would not move an inch nearer Russia’s border if he agreed to present no barriers to the reunification of Germany.

How much trust do you think the Russians now have in anything western political elites say or do? To what degree do they believe that western political elites adhere to the moral, ethical and humanitarian tenets and laws which they claim to espouse? When those who claim to be the most reliable and honest do-gooders around are known liars how is ANY trust possible?

And when no one can point to any agreement broken by Russia that comes anywhere close to those above then you can see how the Russians view the political elites of the West and just how much trust they might have in any agreement those elites might offer. About as much as any state might put in what those who lead a banana republic might say or any agreement they offered.

THE BIGGER PICTURE: WHY THE WEST WILL NEVER TOLERATE PEACE

Many people are asking why the world is constantly at war these days and why the art of diplomacy is no longer applied to any meaningful effect. War after war is erupting across the planet and while the United Nations is ostensibly the forum to resolve such occurrences it is now more akin to a gladiatorial arena for a war of words. Something has changed since the days when attempts were made to resolve differences for the sake of saving lives. No more are issues thrashed out at the UN, now each side expresses the desire to thrash each other in a geopolitical spectacle that invites ever more death and destruction.

What changed you may ask. Didn’t the two sides during the Cold War find ways to resolve their most fundamental differences so as to obviate the possibility that lives might be lost if things got out of hand? Why are we now in such a frightful situation where one side at least appears to actively wish to see ever more war and does not lift a finger to reduce them quite apart from eliminating them altogether. What possible sequence of events could have supercharged lust for war at all costs and at the same time minimised to near zero the desire to mitigate them by seeking diplomatic solutions through negotiated settlements?

If we look back over the last several decades one event leaps out at us as the primary candidate that could explain the impulse in certain elite strata for the constant state of war we see now and the failure of anything approaching intent to stop the wars that result. That event delivered a group of people to the most prominent positions in the nation now adding to its track record of wars initiated by them and to the seemingly never-ending list of potential target nations they want never-ending conflict with.  That event resulted in all the bridge-builders, peacebrokers and long-serving diplomats being cast out as no longer required. Put quickly in their place were warriors, men and women who saw what they perceived as the need for a forever war.

For the people mentioned above the war that they seek, this forever war, will be waged across more than one generation. It is a war that they have decided MUST be won because for them everything they hold near and dear collapses and dies if they do not win this war. For them there will be no further decent world if war is not won. What will result will be hell on earth, they believe, a world that can only descend to unfathomable depths where no return to the ideals they proclaim of ‘freedom’, ‘democracy’ and ‘human rights’ will be possible.

The event stimulating all these fevered thoughts and the rabid determination to wage continual and unabated war against their enemies was of course 9/11 and the men and women who seek to initiate wars worldwide to “save” their “ideal world” of the West are of course the Neocons. Post 9/11 the entire political superstructure of the western world turned Neocon and the notions talked of above became the standard mindset and lens through which the world was seen from that time forward. For these people there are no two sides to any question. There is only one way, one right mode of thought and one solution, beside which all else is false and quite possibly traitorous. No other views are taken into account. For them all is settled and they will brook no resistance to their decided solutions.

The changes mentioned above are currently turning the USA into a totalitarian state where it is only acceptable to express yourself in accordance with selected state narratives on geopolitical or foreign policy issues. Just as there are now no true diplomats as there is only one acceptable outcome to any conflict, that being total western success, no westerner can have any view which varies with their state’s view or be considered to be in league with ‘the enemy’. Branded a ‘Putin Puppet’ or ‘supporter of terrorism’ your chances of success in whatever field of employment you have entered will be minimal if you do not maintain your silence on such issues.

The collective west sees no need to advocate for negotiations regarding the targets for continual war because the outcomes required MUST conform to the final goal which was decided upon in the days immediately after 9/11. Those goals require that no opposition of any kind be left standing that pose even the slightest threat to western hegemony. No barrier or potential threat to absolute western power, security, domination and control can be allowed to exist. All such barriers and opposition MUST be completely eliminated no matter what it takes to do so, no matter how many die or how much chaos, misery, disruption, fragmentation is caused in the process. Diplomacy would only delay this outcome, bringing about frustrating periods where opposition forces could be increased making the job of destroying them all the harder.

Continual war until total victory is the only path the neoconservative warriors conceive as the single and stand-alone solution to the state the USA found itself in on 9/11. The entirety of opposition against the USA and western world, every last opponent uttering negative statements or desiring their own way rather than the way of western national interests, must be destroyed, undermined, weakened, subverted and replaced. To the last possible opposing element. And then a universal security structure would be constructed to ensure no such oppositional elements ever arose in future and if any, even minuscule nascent threat arose, it would be nipped immediately in the bud. The surveillance, control and punishment mechanisms installed after the goals of the forever war were attained would make of our world something between a global slave colony and prison planet.

Look in the hope of an end to the wars raging around us now unless those waging them are reduced to impotence due to the rise of nations powerful enough to quarantine them. If those nations, nations such as China and Russia fail to make those of the West think again we will certainly see these wars continue unabated and the prospect of that slave colony/prison planet grow ever more certain. As the western totalitarian region expands we will see all our freedoms snuffed out, fear will rule our every day, fear that our thoughts, associations and actions will be found unacceptable and punished to the point where the slavery intended find its way into the deepest recesses of our minds. On the day this becomes our daily reality we will fully understand that our arrival in this state of slavery was due to the Neocons determining that security for them and the power of their region was of overriding importance, of such importance that absolutely nothing else mattered to them. All else was merely collateral damage in pursuit of this one vital goal. And this is why the western elites could never tolerate true freedom nor the prospect of peace.
