NUCLEAR WAR IS COMING

Unless reason prevails, and there is no sign of this even remotely appearing on the horizon, the use of nuclear weapons is inevitable, and on both sides. This appears inevitable now due to the impossibility of any settlement being brokered as only one side has ever been willing to engage in meaningful talks. With the Zelensky regime having counted itself out of any such arrangement and the western powers actively desiring an endless continuation of the conflict, an endless escalation up to and including nuclear, is inevitable.

The Republican Party, up to this point in time, appeared to be resisting another $60 billion in support for Ukraine but now show a new willingness to sign off on this and in addition every being willing to vote for the theft of $300 billion in frozen Russian assets also to be used to support the war. In addition, the European Union is approaching the point of providing 50 billion euro over a four year period to Ukraine.

Add to the above the transfer of missiles capable of traversing 300 kilometres to Ukraine and you can see where this is headed, to ever more war. Russia, in response to all of the above will have no good option but to escalate in turn.

Why has this situation reached such a stage where mass death and destruction through the use of nuclear weapons appears inevitable? And if it is indeed inevitable what are the factors on each side that make it so.

From the US/UK/EU side of things the crucial thing to understand are the catastrophic outcomes within the political and media elites post 9/11 and the most crucial factor to understand is the decision made immediately after 9/11 that, in combination with Russia’s existential concerns makes a nuclear conflict all but certain.

THE US/UK/EU VIEW

The decision was made after 9/11 to agree an unquestionable goal, to achieve 'full spectrum dominance' through undermining, removing and replacing ALL perceived opponents to total western hegemony. That goal was NEVER meant to be relinquished and never meant to be questioned. Its achievement was seen to be then and continues to be seen today as an ABSOLUTE NECESSITY, never to be countermanded, never even to be questioned.

The subsequent and equal goal to the one above, when ALL opposing entities were eliminated, was to establish worldwide surveillance and ability to strike down at any and all nascent perceived threats.

This all stems from 9/11. If even one opposing element continues to exist that has the power of significant resistance to western power (such as Russia or China) then the USA and its allies cannot rest and will pursue the goal of eliminating them to the bitter end.

The USA and its allies believe they must have absolute oversight and total manipulative control in order to eliminate any and all emerging threats and they consider that they will never feel fully secure again if they cannot arrive at this status. This is why we are most likely heading toward a nuclear conflagration with no way out. Neither side can relent because both sides see the end of their security in that relenting. So, what is the view from that other side?

THE RUSSIAN VIEW

It must surely be concluded that the Russians are now fully aware of the goal the western powers have set themselves. This was clearly not always the case. Vladimir Putin, by his own admission, has been somewhat blind to this. After 9/11 he sought to assist the USA and their allies in their Afghanistan campaign after being one of the first to phone then president George W Bush offering that assistance to him.

It has taken several betrayals and bouts of western deception to disabuse Putin of the idea that the western powers could usefully be negotiated with. It is only in the past six months or so that the truth has fully and comprehensively dawned upon him that there never was any true integrity or sincerity in the approach to the Ukrainian problem that he had been working hard to resolve peacefully since 2014. It is only in recent times that Putin stopped talking of the U.S. and European elites as Russia’s “partners”. Now he knows them with fully open eyes for what they truly are, Russia’s enemies seeking to weaken it sufficiently for it then to be broken up into multiple, manageable parts.

The goal of destroying the Russian Federation as it now exists, of eliminating its present system of government, replacing those now governing it and breaking it up, all in order to ensure it can be manipulated into the shape the western powers wish, is what is at stake. Putin knows this now as increasingly does the entire Russian population. The Ukrainian campaign therefore is of existential importance to Russia, just as the security risks informing the post-9/11 goals are for the U.S. elites. Here is the impasse that cannot be reconciled. Both must win and for each side the consequences of not winning are unthinkable.

The primary danger at work in all this is the 'war mode' mentality that prevails across the political leadership of the USA plus its allies, along with a completely myopic focus on creating solely positive narratives in regard to providing ever more support for Ukraine. This has created an almost complete neglect of just how much the ultimate outcome of this conflict means to Russia.

This conflict truly could not possibly have a higher priority for Russia. This is about Russia’s national security and sovereignty at a time when the hounds of war are baying at its door. The West should know that Russia will use ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING in its arsenal if it needs to. However,  the leadership of the West is SO foolishly playing the game of Ukraine white, Russia black that it has totally blinded itself to these realities.

The situation could not possibly be more dangerous.

There appears no way to divert the most aggressive of these protagonists from the path they are on. The western powers clearly have no Plan B and will escalate without limit. For Russia’s part it has been clear from 2014 onward that Russia was vainly searching for a peaceful solution. However, after a decade of work aiming for that goal through the Minsk Process it all ended in deceit and betrayal by successive Ukrainian regimes and US/EU/UK authorities.

At this terrifyingly late stage, unless western leaders wake up to the insanity their current machinations and utterly self-seeking policies are leading to, we might as well confront the full reality of where we are headed and start readying ourselves for the unleashing of weapons we consider almost unimaginable in their power, and the potential end of all we know.

SOME PROS & CONS OF AN IMMEDIATE HALT BEING CALLED TO THE CONFLICT IN UKRAINE

Military conflict is the worst form of geopolitical dispute resolution. Russia tried for almost a decade to avoid the present situation in Ukraine. What might happen if it came to a halt right now?

Few have any expectation of the conflict in Ukraine ending any time soon. However, there are potential positive and negative outcomes for both sides (and others) in bringing exactly this about.

POSITIVES FOR UKRAINE

If the problem of Zelensky’s fear of not being re-elected president when the fighting stops can be overcome the following beneficial outcomes are assured, at least in the short term and hopefully long term:

1. The most obvious beneficial change would obviously be the ending of the carnage, no further Ukrainian citizens need now die or be wounded in battle.

2. Ukraine would lose no further territory to Russia than that lost before the ceasefire. However, this would be dependent upon the outcome of post-ceasefire negotiations. In turn for peace there could be bargaining on both sides in this respect. (This might ultimately be settled via referenda being run in certain mixed-population regions.)

3. Ukraine could begin to rebuild its economy without the danger of attacks from Russia.

4. Ukrainian troops, most of whom will be under various degrees of stress/exhaustion can stand down and begin their recuperation.

5. Elections could be held within a reasonably peaceful environment.

6. The result of new elections in Ukraine would quite likely bring much more moderate, peace-seeking candidates forward who would likely be elicited by a war-weary population.

NEGATIVES FOR UKRAINE

1. Russia will de facto take the territories it has occupied/liberated under its full control, and these may never be given back to the Ukrainian state.

2. Ukraine will lose no further territory to Russia, at least not through military means.

3. The elections that take place in these circumstances are bound to be fraught with extreme disputation and possible violence between the opposing parties.

4. Whoever wins the presidency and right to govern may find their ascendancy challenged and quite possibly using violent means.

POSITIVES FOR RUSSIA

1. In halting its military campaign Russia will no longer fight the hard battles to win the still large areas of territory before it and can spare the lives of those Russian troops who would have fallen in battle in future months/years in winning those territories.

2. Russia could look forward to retaining at the very least the territory gained to that point. However, this would be dependent upon the outcome of post-ceasefire negotiations. In turn for peace there could be bargaining on both sides in this respect. (This might ultimately be settled via referenda being run in certain mixed-population regions.)

3. Russia could be confident that there would be a migration of Russian-speakers from Ukraine to the new republics of Russia due to the vast differences regarding lifestyle/employment chances between the two in the immediate post-war period and beyond.

4. Russia could finally put the conflict behind it and concentrate more fully on the expansion of its economic opportunities (within those friendly countries it now trades with and potentially others to whom it is not now so linked).

5. Russia, dependent upon the outcome of negotiations, would no longer need to fear breaches of its sovereignty having demanded security guarantees including Ukraine never entering NATO.

6. Russia could make a start on the long process of restoring semi-reasonable relations with Ukraine.

7. Russia could have reasonable confidence that when elections were held in Ukraine that an at least Russia-neutral, and quite possibly a Russia-positive, president and governments would be elected.

NEGATIVES FOR RUSSIA

1. Russia would have to relinquish the possibility of a complete victory over Ukraine whereby it took all territory up to the eastern bank of the Dnieper River. This would mean a total capitulation by Ukraine, and virtual guarantee of all Russia’s demands being met, would no longer be possible.

2. Russia could not know in advance if Ukraine could be fully trusted (in light of the Minsk Accord deception and reneging on the agreements made in Istanbul in March of 2022).

3. Russia could not know with certainty that Ukraine would adhere to the letter of all agreements made in regard to forbidden policies regarding joining NATO, re-arming, reduction of its armed services or elimination of its neo-Nazi minority. The level of trust could not possibly be high on these factors due to the breaking of past agreements by the Ukrainians.

4.  Russia could not be sure that a military coup would not take place within Ukraine bringing an even worse situation in its wake whereby all Ukraine fell into complete, uncontrollable anarchy.

5. Russia’s demand that a new security architecture for Europe including Russia, would not have the same leverage potential as it would have done if the Ukrainian regime had capitulated.

POSITIVES FOR EUROPE

1. The worst conflict since World War Two in Europe would be over and all minds could return to a concentration on economic development.

2. The vast, ongoing financial and military outflows from European treasuries and arsenals due to the conflict in Ukraine would end.

3. Ukraine would become an attractive area for European businesses seeking to relocate in light of a population of willing and low-cost workers and a source of renewed food and energy-related products also at low cost.

4. With Ukraine becoming a member of the European Union there would, in time, be a growing potential to access the neighbouring Russian market as the years go by and old wounds heal.

5. Over time, renewed access to cheap Russian energy may well become a distinct possibility as wounds heal. This would of course depend upon the willingness to forget the past on BOTH sides.

NEGATIVES FOR EUROPE

There are no substantial material or political negatives for Europe in a renewed peace in Ukraine save for two:

1.  The negative effect on the current political leaderships within Europe of those who worked alongside Poroshenko, then Zelensky in sabotaging the Minsk Accords from 2015 to 2022 and who prolonged the war when a peace settlement was a distinct possibility in March of 2022 as these would likely be swept from power.

2. There would most likely be a negative effect between the new influx of western political leaders and those of the United States, and potentially between the new and NATO.

POSITIVES FOR THE USA

1. The vast, ongoing financial and military outflows from North American treasuries and arsenals due to the conflict in Ukraine would end.

2. With the end of financial outgoings because of Ukraine via its military Industrial Complex the end of hostilities would leave the North America taxpayers free of this burden and potentially bring about a long-required infrastructure infrastructure and enhancement of life chances for the population.

NEGATIVES FOR THE USA

1. The first negative for the USA would be among the neoconservatives. Their ambition to keep the conflict in Ukraine being waged with the ambition to bring down the current president and administration in Russia would be frustrated and clearly seen to have failed.

2. The second negative effect would again be felt by the neoconservatives whose aim to achieve ‘full spectrum dominance’ worldwide would be significantly blunted and perhaps even frustrated on a permanent basis.

3. The third and final negative effect for the USA would be felt by its Military Industrial Complex with the cutting off its income stream from the conflict.

POSITIVES FOR THE WORLD, EVEN, IN TIME, INCLUDING THE COLLECTIVE WEST

These positives would be myriad in nature covering innumerable areas presently held in suspension pending the arrival of a fully multipolar world.

With the project to bring down Russia by the West a failure the prospect of the collective west retaining its present ability to threaten, manipulate and punish in order to maintain its domination, would be reduced.

The de facto quarantining of the collective west could then potentially deliver the prospect of a network of global trade, cultural exchange and cooperative balance. This, through tolerance of diverse modes of governance emphasising trading agreements between all nations, greater stability and ever-evolving peace could, in time, be fully realised.

IT’S THE END OF THE WESTERN POLITICAL & MEDIA WORLD AS WE KNOW IT

Momentous change across the West is coming with the fall of the Zelensky regime. The facts, steadily revealed, will reveal in their turn, the matrix of lies told by western political & media elites.

‘How the mighty are fallen.’

Well, they are not quite mighty and they are not yet quite fallen. But be patient a while…

You will have noticed that Boris, who convinced Zelensky not to accept the peace offered by Russia in March 2022, has fallen. Biden, has long since fallen from grace with the U.S. populace. Even Zelensky too, that Churchillian figure, or so we were led to believe, has hardly a shred of the esteem he once enjoyed.

And Ukraine, the state that was presumed by the western world to be pure, docile and total innocent, is shrinking and falling in popularity as its crimes become known and their cost to westerners become a public scandal.

In November Biden will fall from view never to be seen again. Only his eventual death will raise a blip of interest before his memory as worst president ever, in competition with George W. Bush is banished to the trashcan of history.

Scholz of Germany is clearly on his way out as is Macron of France. Meloni, that political fraudster cannot be long for the political world either.

All of the above will fall victim to ‘The Zelensky Curse’. Delivered to political purgatory, then hell. Lost causes brought down by the Ukrainian lost cause. Political suicides who assisted in the death of half a million Ukrainians, those who continue to plunge the Hari-Kiri sword of self-mutilation into themselves as they have not the courage to reverse their misbegotten policy of support for the devils of Ukraine.

This year will see the end of all those who sought war rather than peace when it was offered. Their electorates, who they abused with incessant lies about Russia and about Ukraine will turn on them and force them from office. They will fall, one after another into the void of the politically mistaken, led like sheep to a reputational abattoir by the latest in a long line of North American tyrants.

Then we come to the media. Succeeding years will see the final collapse and fall of many major western newspaper titles, those who published the same fabrications and misinformation, propaganda and material designed to mislead as western politicians spouted. Waterfalls of lies aimed at duping western populations about the character of Vladimir Putin, about Russia and the conflict in Ukraine, those titles that refused to reveal the true evil that emanated from western Ukraine from 2014 to the present day. The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian and many more. Their lies revealed they will lose all of the meagre credibility they have held till now as those seeking the facts on geopolitical matters seek far better sources.

So it will be also in regard to televisual news media. CNN, MSNBC, BBC, all united in their lies about Putin, Russia and Ukraine. Viewership of these lie factories will plummet as they are abandoned for far more objective sources unafraid to reveal the uncomfortable facts that legacy media kept hidden since the Maidan coup of 2014.

The entire gamut of so-called ‘Western News’ and political life will be transformed. Many will be raised up on platforms of good sense and straight-talking. Commentators who provided the best and truest insights into the Russians and Ukrainians and the conflict between them will have their reputations further enhanced as it ends and ends as they have long predicted. Victor Orban, Robert Fico, Scott Ritter, Jeffrey Sachs, Colonel Douglas Macgregor, Daniel Davis, Ray McGovern, Larry Johnson, Alastair Crooke, Brian Berletic, Alexander Mercouris, Alex Christoforou, Danny Haiphong, George Galloway and many more.

As for the lying hordes who tried in every possible way to deceive the entire world into assisting the Nazi-minded minority of Ukraine and who fabricated every possible slander against those who fought them… they will see their legacy burned in a fire of contempt, their metaphorical ashes allowed to fall ignominiously into the black hole of utter contempt.

Watch this year as the supposedly mighty fall, one after the other, as Ukraine falls… all disappearing completely from view.

THE WORLD HAS CHANGED. THE DICTATORIAL POWERS OF THE WEST ARE FAILING & DYING

There was a time when it was almost true that Britannia ruled the waves. That day is of course long gone. Similarly, the time when it seemed that the USA could act as the world’s warder and policeman, is now ending. In both cases there was a relatively simple scenario facing these two in the times when they saw their empires of dominance stretching on forever. But every wave crests and falls, every civilisation yet known has traversed the same path, a steady rise to a peak of power and influence before an inevitable decline and progressive loss of both. We now see the empire of North America rapidly descending that slope toward its ever weakening grasp on power and influence. And it will not rise again. Like an old man whose dotage informs him that he is not what he used to be, the instinct in the first instance is to use all the power that’s left him to resist. But his strength fails more with each passing day until eventually, after all his struggles have been to know avail, he acknowledges reality at last and submits himself to the inevitable. The world has long since stopped making the sense it once did. What were once simple tasks are no more, each once familiar area of control becomes more confusing by the day until the moment when all around loses meaning and he withdraws into himself ready to face the end. The world that the political and media elites of the USA used to see as their fiefdom, playground and even backyard is no longer that easily cajoled, controlled, manipulated and easily threatened into line place. The old certainties are gone, the levers of power have seized up and the threatening words that got others to obey fall on deaf ears. What is worse, these others have begun to laugh in mockery and behind that laugh is an intent to repay the misdeeds they suffered under all the years they can remember. The political and media elites of the USA with their concepts of superiority and an egotistical exceptionalism where they looked down their noses at their supposed inferiors and sought to manipulate them to their benefit have had their day. And now it’s over. The world has become too complex for the simplistic solutions the U.S. and UK elites found convenient and easy to apply. Others have become far too powerful and interconnected to allow these two dictatorial elites any continuance of their brutal rule. And it’s payback time, some may call it karma. Whatever name is given it, whether quarantine or strait-jacket, the time when the power of these two (and their EU minions) could act in unbridled fashion and ride roughshod over others, is over. As they fall into their dotage as elites and try to continue acting as if they were sprightly young powers they will quickly be disabused of these ideas. Their arrogance, still displayed will be met with a sneer and mockery. And their foolish, age- old impudence, will then be enthusiastically punished as it is only right it should be.

WE ARE APPROACHING THE END GAME IN THE DONBASS AND A LIKELY BLOODBATH

Russia now recognises its enemies are not the Ukrainians but the political elite of the West. However, in the weeks and months to come it will instead be the Ukrainians who will die in their droves.

The final push by Russian forces to take and then permanently hold all that remains of the entire Donbass region is likely to begin within the next few months. The softening up of the Ukrainian lines has gone on apace through artillery fire and fire from the air. Over the last month there have been heavy losses on the Ukrainian side where many important military assets have been destroyed with much loss of life.

The Ukrainian regime is struggling to generate enough new troops through enforced mobilisation to build its forces back to strength. This however, is impossible given the time frame available. The most professionally trained and experienced troops are gone and can only be replaced using forced conscripts given training of a week or two at most. Many of these will have been forced against their will and are likely to flee the battlefield and surrender as soon as they find an opportunity to do so.

During the current forced mobilisation videos are constantly appearing of men running in flight from the recruiting officers and mass demonstrations from families against the recruiters. Men are being violently torn from their families and the numbers attempting to flee across the Ukrainian border by paying $5,000 to those willing to transport them is rising constantly. If the general mobilisation bill going through the Ukrainian parliament currently passes we will see thousands forcibly taken from their loved ones, given minimum training, and sent to die on the front lines.

The coming battle will without doubt be fierce and the losses on both sides are likely to be considerable. However, as has been the case throughout the numbers of Ukrainians dying is far higher, something near ten Ukrainians dying for each Russian. While the death toll among the Ukrainians ranges between 400 and 800 per day this could spike very soon. The Ukrainians are running out of both fuel and ammunition and with freezing conditions starting to hit hard the logistics of delivering supplies to them will become increasingly onerous. Cases of frostbite among Ukrainian prisoners of war is rapidly increasing.

In recent weeks Russia has begun to seriously degrade the regime’s air defence systems along with the arms and fuel dumps of its army. With a massively upgraded arms industry Russia has a constant stream of military vehicles, missiles and other munitions to supply to its army and appears poised to make a major push forward. There is every indication is that this war is about to enter its bloodiest stage where no quarter will be given on either side.

The regime appears to have recently transferred as many heavy weapons including HIMARS rocket launchers into position along the front line where Russia is expected within weeks to launch its attack. A significant number, including a PATRIOT system appear to have been destroyed there recently. Russia has significant satellite systems in operation which are evidently detecting these movements.

This will, in all probability be the final battle for the Donbass. It is inconceivable that the remaining cities of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk will stand for long if the coming assault claims the remaining major conurbations of the Donbass. Avdeyevka appears ready to fall within the next two weeks or so even without the expected major Russian surge forward.

If scenario one occurs then the rest of the Donetsk Oblast must surely fall to Russia within a month or two of the taking of Avdeyevka. Kharkov will surely not hold out long once the Ukrainian troops there realise they stand no hope as the Ukrainian defence line collapses up and down the front. A pause is more than likely immediately thereafter however while mopping up operations are conducted and, as before, the Russian troops liberating these areas are rested to prepare for the final push to take Slavyansk and Kramatorsk.

The coming phase of the conflict in Ukraine appears certain to be extremely bloody. Only one side is at all confident concerning the prospect for success and has strength enough in depth to consider holding negotiations toward the Ukrainians coming to terms in a capitulation that allowing some semblance of dignity. The Russians have a military history where negotiations take place while a conflict rages on have expressed an interest in resolving the issues involved ever since the coup of 2014 and continue to seek conflict resolution to this day. However, there is no reciprocal response from the other side even though such an arrangement did exist in the early days of the conflict. An arrangement undermined by then UK prime minister Boris Johnson and U.S. president Biden.

Neither side can afford to lose. And of course these sides are not simply one on one. Alongside the Ukrainians you have the entire collective west. The leaders of the West cannot afford to lose out to Russia. Equally Russia cannot afford to lose out to them. Driving NATO from its doorstep, ending the ultra-nationalist Nazi-mentality so prominent in western Ukraine and establishing the security of the Russian-speaking citizens of the Donbass are absolutely vital goals for Russia. Existential goals for the most part. This is now a fight to the death, to the absolute defeat of one side or the other with (unless attendance at negotiations are agreed to by the Ukrainians) no way out but an orgy of death and destruction to the bitter end.

PEACE IS THE LAST THING THE WEST WANTS IN UKRAINE

(Peace in Ukraine, with Russia not only undefeated but stronger than ever, would work directly against the plan considered ABSOLUTELY VITAL by all western powers since 9/11.)

The crucible of death and seemingly endless suffering in Ukraine is set to go on. That Vladimir Putin has sought a peaceful outcome in Ukraine since well before 2014 bears little influence on the long-term plan for Ukraine that has existed in the West for who knows how long. This plan stretches back to at least 2008 but is likely to go back even further, perhaps much further.

As Vladimir Putin has recently said, the people of Ukraine are not Russia’s enemy, that “honour” goes to the leaders of western nations, those leaders, who in succession, have drawn their plans against Russia, and formerly against the Soviet Union. Seemingly gone are the days when he spoke of “our western partners”. The blinkers appear now to have been removed from his eyes and he sees clearly now that they are in fact Russia’s enemies.

In recent times various spokespersons and leading figures within the western political elite have revealed the true purpose behind the use of Ukraine, that is, to weaken Russia. In addition they speak of ‘breaking Russia up’. The favoured number of pieces that Russia ought to be broken into appears to be five.

The goals of weakening and then breaking Russia up into west-manageable pieces comes with the often repeated and seen enacted goal of recent years and across many nations, of instigating regime change. A large number of standard techniques to achieve regime change have been applied to Russia just as they have been applied elsewhere. The general term to describe them is ‘interference’, however, when it is felt that the level of interference is not adequate to the task then sanctions and ultimately military action are instigated.

In the case of Russia however, the western powers have clearly bitten off more than they can chew. Previous targets have been far weaker with inadequate defences and were unable to come anywhere near to withstanding the West’s onslaught. Why did these powers feel compelled to take on Russia when they surely knew the mountain of a task they had before them?

The reasons the political elites of the West felt they had no choice but to take on Russia are twofold.

1. THE NEED, POST 9/11 TO ACHIEVE ‘FULL SPECTRUM DOMINANCE.

2. THE URGENCY OF TASK 1. IN THE FACE OF RISING OPPOSITION

The degree of shock 9/1 caused the political systems of the West cannot be overestimated. There can be no greater or more powerful explanation of what the foreign policy (and with it all legacy media stances) changed almost overnight. It was understood across all areas of accumulated power in the West that the long-standing domination of the western nations over all others was threatened as never before.

The answer to the existential threat perceived across all western elites by 9/11 was understood intuitively. The West had to reimpose its power and do so absolutely. There could be no exception to the rule that, in the face of 9/11, no individual, nation, group or any entity whatsoever could stand absent of an overt, stated and constant commitment to be in line with, and stay in line with, western requirements. Those requirements were for obedience in the first instance, and compliance with all the security needs of the West in perpetuity. No exceptions were to be tolerated.

To achieve ‘full spectrum dominance’ the western powers would insist of complete surveillance of all major nodes of power or nascent power. The ability to strike down at potential enemies everywhere was to be insisted upon as necessity. No opaque areas were to be tolerated. All areas must be totally transparent to western gaze. And to the disciplinary action which must follow if even the most inconsequential exception event occurs such as a statement questioning western power. Resistance to western power could no longer be tolerated and any form of resistance in word or deed must be punished and eliminated.

The goal of achieving full spectrum dominance, so urgently required after 9/11 and initiated with full speed alacrity by all tasked to achieve it, resulted in the regime change wars seen beginning with Afghanistan and continuing with Iraq, Libya, Syria and Iran. The goal of taking out all who stood in the way of western full spectrum dominance is not subject to change, indeed to any modification whatsoever. There is no plan b, no brake and no reverse gear.

All of the above would have been relatively easy but for one vital factor due to the quirks of history that put the West in a position of relative weakness when compared to almost all previous times, both Russia and China were rising as economic and military powers. This fact exacerbated to a fearsome degree the already monumental task of achieving full spectrum dominance. How to do this when great swathes of the world jealously guarded their own national sovereignty, independence and the sacrosanct nature of their national security?

China, foremost problem to the western powers could not be tackled head on, it was simply too powerful to begin the process without weakening it first. This is why Russia was chosen as the first major candidate for destruction via Ukraine rather than China via Taiwan. Russia must be weakened and the chosen method was to inveigle it by inexorable pressure and refusal to provide it way out, into mounting a campaign against the Ukrainian regime over the Russian-speakers of the Donbass region.

Again, the following two tasks fuel all that we see occurring now:

1. THE NEED, POST 9/11 TO ACHIEVE ‘FULL SPECTRUM DOMINANCE.

2. THE URGENCY OF TASK 1. IN THE FACE OF RISING OPPOSITION

These are the reasons why a defeat of the western powers in Ukraine is unthinkable for them. The plan was to first eliminate Russian power and render it quiescent and manipulable… and then complete the task of doing the same to China. With Russia and China eliminated as oppositional powers the task of undermining and eliminating all others would pale into insignificance.

There can be no let up in the goals described above. No plan b was ever contemplated nor ever will be. No matter what it takes, up to the use of nuclear weapons, there will be no relenting by the West. To relent would be to accept that 1. above could never be achieved, that this unquestioned and vital goal could never be achieved and due to this failure, the USA could never be totally safe from another nationally catastrophic event such as that which occurred on 9/11 2001.

2024: TIME FOR PEACE IN UKRAINE?

Too many have died on both sides. Both sides would quite clearly prefer a normalisation of affairs if at all possible... or better said, as soon as possible. We are all human beings after all when the essential fundamentals are admitted. Killing, wounding and attempts to do both don't come naturally to human beings. They enter this arena under certain circumstances only.

Many mistakes have led to this occurring. Too many to count stretching back too many years now in Ukraine. Ultimately no borders are required or should be required, especially not among the Slavic people. They, in their natural state should live as brothers and sisters, enjoying the basic usual things in life we all value most. The rise of false differences through extreme nationalism is the enemy of all we share as people, it rots the bonds that are so precious. Then, after those with extreme minds have done their work we see the fabric binding all decent, ordinary people together begin rapidly to fray. Knitting back that fabric becomes impossible then for a painfully long period of time.

The process cannot even start until perhaps half a decade... or even more passes. During this time many horrors are experienced. While the fighting goes on all descend to a human hell. It will take people of strong hearts and goodwill to start the process of knitting the fabric of life together across the Slav peoples of Ukraine and Russia. If that process can be started by certain brave and selfless hearts out of a compassion that has been distinctly absent then the process can begin... and ultimately normalisation can move forward. And in perhaps as little as a half decade borders need no longer be important as all hearts have come to see the benefits, the invaluable benefits of common, simple purpose and the joy that can slowly emerge from the healing process.

Sooner or later of course this must all end and the healing process will then start, most likely with glacial slowness.

To all intents and purposes, gauging the number of years the attempt was made, Vladimir Putin DID wish to see the Donbass remain inside the territorial borders of Ukraine. It is hard to believe that BOTH negotiating teams were merely playing for time in order to build up their strengths. In 2014-15 Putin rejected calls by those in the Donbass who called to be allowed to join the Russian Federation. With a view to taking them in at a later date by decree/force? Doubtful. But doubts may well exist within Ukraine. Nevertheless we are where we are.

What now? Russia does not require to take more territory. And Ukraine does not require to regain what has been lost. In what scenario? In the scenario of a future time when all this is in the far past, when the borders are open, trade going on as before and no nationalistic violence occurring... that is, when normalisation has taken place and bedded in.

THIS is where we ought all to be looking. There is no decent future available along the path we are presently taking for those increasingly threatened by the spread of violence we see now and that which appears likely to emerge in the days, weeks and months ahead. It’s time to start a renewed peace process. Some may say it is not yet time for this, however, the USA at least, if not the UK/EU, has expanding commitments elsewhere and appears to be readying itself to end its active engagement in Ukraine.
