FUTILE GESTURES TO SAVE FACE ARE GETTING HUNDREDS OF UKRAINIANS KILLED EACH DAY

This week Zelensky called for another half million Ukrainians to be mobilised. This week also saw videos published showing men being forcibly dragged from hotels, cafes and the street to be given rudimentary training before being sent to the front lines to die gruesome deaths. They will face battle-hardened Russian troops with superior kit, morale, weapons and ammunition. This while the Ukrainian army is fast running out of the will to fight, suffering frostbite and having ever less to fight with.

Zelensky appears to have become a megalomaniac without a trace of feeling for those hapless souls he demands be made cannon fodder in a war that is clearly lost. His backers in the West appear to have had enough of throwing good money after bad into the Ukrainian money pit. Yet Zelensky clearly has no compunction regarding sending ever more men, and now women, to the battlefront to die or be mortally wounded in conditions of absolute horror.

The tragedy of this war is that it was known from the start how it would end. That is, with a Russian victory. Russia could not afford to lose, far too much was at stake regarding its national security. The only thing that could have stopped Russia winning would have been direct intervention in Ukraine by the western powers via NATO. That option was barred right at the start due to the inevitability of a wider war in Europe erupting, quite possibly leading to all-out nuclear war between Russia and the West.

With no NATO involvement and no direct European military involvement for the same reason as that behind the NATO restraint Moscow was ALWAYS going to defeat any resistance put up by Ukraine, no matter how many weapons or of what type flowed into Ukraine from the West. Yes, if the financial and economic sanctions the West has applied to Russia had had the desired effect things would have been otherwise, however Russia has shaken off their effects and is now experiencing 3.5% economic growth.

We are now in an absurd position where Russia is clearly moving forward taking more land in a steady grinding down of the Ukrainian army with no calls for talks from the West to end the carnage? The policy of western leaders is clearly to encourage Ukraine to fight to the last Ukrainian while the cause is lost without any possible shadow of a doubt? There are no miracles in warfare, or damn few, and those that do arise will stem from individual heroism in the face of all odds. Ukraine cannot possibly hope for divine intervention. So what now?

For now it seems that the daily grind goes on and this form of grinding is macabre indeed. Using vastly superior firepower Russian multiple rocket launchers and other artillery fire an estimated six and a half thousand rounds at EVERY target. That’s every trench, dugout, village, town and conurbation. Ukrainian forces have nothing to match that. Plus they are dog tired, frost-bitten and demotivated. Their reserve forces, meant to provide relief are in their turn being decimated in their bases by long range Russian missiles.

Russia fires on its targets from dawn to dusk, softening up resistance for the day when Russian troops can move forward to minimal resistance. This grinding down operation is repeated time after time according to well-crafted strategies to encircle the most important towns. The Russians are methodically decimating the Ukrainian army on their way to what was always an inevitable victory.

The number of Ukrainian casualties has varied between four hundred and eight hundred dead and wounded per day. And this day after day after day. Meanwhile Joe Biden and the rest of those who urge the various meat grinding fire sacks to go without let nor hindrance are sitting comfortably in their posh homes having a Martini, beer or whatever their favourite tipple is quite oblivious to the suffering they are encouraging. Nothing must get in the way of their re-election so this deadly show must go on and a pretence of “victory” be concocted.

In March of last year Boris Johnson persuaded Zelensky not to give in to the temptation to continue the talks with Russia that neared a breakthrough in Istanbul. There the Ukrainian delegation appeared to be nearing a sensible position on at least some of Russia’s demands. However, Johnson’s visit to Kiev put an end to the process. Without doubt with the connivance of Biden he was able to bring talks to an end by promises of wonder weapons which would turn the tide of war in Ukraine’s favour.

Well, it hasn’t and it won’t. The HIMARS and Patriot systems and all else in the high-tech weaponry department of the West won’t do the trick. Ukraine already had a huge range of multiple rocket launchers at the start of the conflict. They are all gone. The weaponry that came in from the West didn’t even replace what was lost. Russia continues to crush the Ukrainian military and with its drones is spotting has taken out a significant number of Ukraine’s arms depots. The Ukrainians lament each day now that they are running out of the means to fight. This as the West protests that it has little more to give.

There is no good news for Ukraine, only bad and getting worse. Desertions are becoming more frequent, the number of dead per day is rising and while Ukrainian troops make videos saying they may turn and march on Kiev against Zelensky and continue to surrender in significant numbers. The Russian military is in the process of breaking through Ukrainian lines and looks set to liberate a number of major Ukrainian towns including Avdeyevka. There will be no stopping them now.

The time for Zelensky and his puppet-masters in the West to come to the negotiation table was months ago, yet still they refuse. All this means is that thousands more Ukrainians will die needlessly and yet more Ukrainian territory will be taken. To delay an hour more is madness. Yet delay they do. Till when? Till Russia moves all the way west to the banks of the Dnieper, decimating the Ukrainian army the entire way? At that point the Ukrainian regime and its backers may call for talks. The Russian response at that point however will be to call for total capitulation and submission to all Russian demands.

Is the western response we see to date just to save face? To stave off the humiliation of defeat for a few more months? To do all they can with futile gestures that bring nothing of substance to the final result? To posture and pontificate while delivering what they think are the required deceptions needed because whatever they do they must not at all costs, confront the awful truth?

This is a level of self-seeking irresponsibility that reaches a degree of callousness beggaring belief. Zelensky and his backers are presiding over a bloodbath simply to cover themselves in the hope of safeguarding their political careers and prospects. They need to end these futile gestures for the sake of humanity, they need to face the reality of defeat, to insist agree on the need for negotiations before it becomes too late, and to immediately do all possible to end this proxy war against Russia with immediate effect.

THE NEW RUSSIAN CENTURY

The entire western world is in steep decline. The USA, its primary leader without democratic mandate, is in the process of decapitating itself through its Ukraine and Israel policies. Collateral damage is being felt across its allies in the UK and European Union.

Meanwhile, the nations of the global south are treating the West’s demand that they criticise and ostracise Russia with disdain. In fact they are drawing ever closer to Russia, cooperating ever more fully with her seeking to trade and take advantage of her bounteous resources.

The geopolitical world has clearly reached an extremely important watershed moment. The power to command, dominate, manipulate and threaten the entire world from Washington and Whitehall is dissipating steadily on a daily basis.

In Ukraine it has all gone wrong for the western powers. Ukraine was supposed to be a battering ram with which to crush the population of Russia and make them turn against and oust Vladimir Putin from power. The Ukraine-effect was supposed to destroy the Russian economy while terminally weakening its army.

Instead of the above Vladimir Putin is more popular than ever, the Russian economy is growing at a rate of 3.5% currently and the Russian army is larger, more competent and stronger than ever.

BRICS, of which Russia is a leading member along with China, is expanding and will reach forty members if all those applying are accepted into its ranks. Many of those applying were erstwhile allies of the USA and UK which must surely be a signally painful fact for those nations. It can now be said that the majority of nations on the planet now oppose continued western hegemony. This is a startling change to be remembered when western politicos talk of ‘The International Community’ as if it’s meant to convey the majority of nations. The West has lost the right to speak in this way.

As one power falls another rises.

China is by far the greatest power facing the USA and its proxies. China is the economic peer competitor to the USA and a constant expansion in its influence is being felt in areas the West has considered its own fiefdoms until now. We can see the U.S. and its proxies doing all they can to undermine the expansion of China’s win-win economic connections with other nations across Asia and beyond. Its war against China is still at the nascent stage with the main battles still ahead.

It is none other than Russia however that has taken upon itself to resist the desire of the USA and its allies to shore up its much sought after hegemony, global control through full spectrum dominance of air, land, sea and space with surveillance powers encompassing every last living soul worldwide.

Russia it is that reflects the shining spearhead against the waning, but still powerful, forces of the collective west. Russia was the power to stand firm and state, “Thus far and no more!” against the tide of U.S. belligerence moving steadily toward it. In Syria and now in Ukraine Russia has and is defending the East against the predatory ambitions of the West.

In Syria Russia stepped in after four years in which the USA, UK, France, Turkey and others sought to use proxies to bring down Bashar al Assad unleashing an unstoppable terrorist horde who would have undoubtedly installed a caliphate there if not defeated. Russia was their nemesis. Russia it was, through its powerful intervention, removed their threat along with the Syrian Arab Army and relegated the terrorists to the corner of Syria that is Idlib.

In Ukraine Russia is inexorably defeating the collective west even as the western powers do everything in their power to hinder Russia’s inevitable success in achieving the goals it set itself. The Donbass region will transfer in full to Russia within the next six months and quite possibly much more. Any attack upon this new Russian soil will be dealt with severely, sending a very definite message to those opposing Russia.

The Ukrainian regime will capitulate or cease to exist. There are no other options than these two. Its western backers will also be made to sign up to a new security architecture for Europe that includes the security in perpetuity of Russia. If it does not agree to this then Ukraine may well be made to fail completely as a viable state and mostly be subsumed into the Russian Federation and its sphere of influence. The war between Russia and the collective west will then continue with Russia united in opposition along with most of the rest of the world.

The message to the West is that Russia has fully regained its status as a sovereign world power capable of facing down any threat directed at it, that it has regained full confidence and competence across all important fields of endeavour, that it has assembled a coalition of many extremely powerful friends and now fears absolutely no one

Russia has gained the admiration and respect of the global south rather than its criticism through its robust military posture regarding the adventurism of the USA, its proxies and their tool, NATO. Nations are lining up to join Russia in the BRICS network, some of them long time allies of the USA and western world in general. In fact these nations were reluctant allies of an ever-aggressive western world that they feared. Now there is an alternative protective force that can shield them from any further attempts by the West to coerce them into servitude.

It is Russia that has been gaining all the while as the West, seen as an agent of chaos and instability across the global south and in Asia, has steadily lost influence. The disastrous regime change wars of choice instigated by the West post 9/11 have brought it into disrepute as an untrustworthy friend of ally, more a threat than friend in fact. The way the U.S. found it easy to break its word over the Iranian nuclear agreement showed just how untrustworthy it can be.

NATO, rather than not moving an inch further east as promised by multiple political elites of the West to Gorbachev, has desired to move right to Russia’s doorstep. We now see the response that Russia has given that betrayal. Now, with Iran and Turkey (a NATO member of course) we see a widening of the response against a western world requiring immediate quarantining.

As the West spirals down into debt, social discord and interminable disunity, economic disaster and unlimited disharmony the nations of Eurasia reflect the polar opposite where profitable interconnection and unity are the order of the day. Local currencies are being used ever more frequently in place of the dollar thus closing another route for western belligerence.

Much of the above is being led by Russia. And much of all else by China. Truly these two in mutual respect and heightening cooperation are leading a process that will eventuate in the creation of a new, multipolar world. In the background, China lends support and provides moral encouragement to the nation and leader who are at the forefront during the facing down of the West.

That nation is of course Russia, and her president, Vladimir Putin.

So, all of the above being taken into consideration, we can say without a shadow of a doubt that we have now entered THE NEW RUSSIAN CENTURY.

UKRAINE: TRUTH WAS THE FIRST CASUALTY… BUT REALITY WILL NOT BE DENIED

 

HUBRIS BEGINS AT HOME

The western powers had what they thought was a very strong hand. Get Russia bogged down spending blood and treasure in Ukraine and in coincidence delivering a vast number of what they thought would be devastating hits on the Russian economy. From these two weapons, they believed, the Russian state, by one means or another, would collapse. In fact, as we have seen, they have lost both bets. As the EU descends into recession the Russian economy is growing by around 3.5% at the last count and in eastern Ukraine Russia is incrementally winning by grinding down the Ukrainian army at the rate of some 400 to 800 men per day killed or wounded. Russia is bringing ever more well trained men to the front line while Ukraine is grabbing people, giving them a few weeks training and sending them to die under a hail of all kinds of munition from the Russian side. Ukraine has no air force to speak of while Russia has an industrial base churning out ever more planes as well as tanks, missiles, drones and ammunition. The western powers with their political and media wishful thinking are in fact aiding the Russians in grinding down the Ukrainian armed forces and there is absolutely nothing on the horizon that will change any of this until a capitulation by the USA, EU and the UK in the name of a deceased Ukrainian state.

ATROCITY PORN & ITS USES

What are called atrocities during the Ukraine conflict are mistakenly laid at Russia's door. If you examine each and every example that the consensus of western outlets say were down to Russia's actions you start to realise they are very far from cut and dried and more than that, the evidence in each and every major case indicates that there is a very strong case for saying it was the Ukrainians, NOT the Russians. THAT IS IN EVERY MAJOR CASE. The reality is that the Ukrainians and those political and media elites in the West who support them to the hilt have been on a mission to demonise the Russians since day one of the conflict. THAT is what lies behind the consensus in the West, not the facts. The facts and details of each case appear to be of no interest to western elite outlets whether political or from the mainstream news media. Therefore Freddy, please do a little research in depth into these atrocities before you imply that Russia committed them. Keep in mind that in the vast majority of cases these atrocities happened to the Russian-speaking populations of places such as Kramatorsk (missile attack on civilians trying to leave) or Mariupol (civilians taking shelter in the theatre there.) Keep in mind that the worst of the Nazi-mentality fanatical ultra-nationalists of western Ukraine hate the Russian-speakers of eastern Ukraine with a passion because to them they are hated Russians, not Ukrainians at all.

DEMONISE, DISTORT, NEVER DESCRIBE

The incessant 'war mode' journalism that exists in the western world in general and that is most pronounced in Britain has had the effect of poisoning even the seemingly highly intelligent there. Assertions concerning Russia as filtered through this incessant, thoroughly, nay absolutely, biased reporting (if one can even call it reporting) within this 'war mode' milieu is toxic. It generates an utterly false picture of so-called Ukrainian hopes for the future and successes in the present. It is typical of the kind of "reporting" that occurs in all the West's wars even stretching back to WWII. Nothing positive is said about the "enemy", the "enemy" is to be demonised at every turn, vilified in the same kind of terms as the Nazis of WWII, with no redeeming qualities and no excuses for an 'unprovoked attack'. Of course those who decide to make even a cursory unbiased and curious inspection of the period in Ukraine between 2014 and February 2022 can see quickly and easily that this conflict was quite obviously provoked and provoked time and time again to unbearable lengths. Even such rational minds as that which Freddy has acquired have been tainted by the 'war mode' propaganda bias of total bias, wishful thinking and MI6-concocted storylines, most designed to bore deep into the subconscious of all listeners and readers to demonise 'the other side'. This is one of the most evil and cynical things that has been seen and continues to be seen which totally turns the entire picture of what has been happening in Ukraine on its head. The constant flow of mendacious and slanderous lies from all manner of Ukrainian officials from the president on down has been constant since 2014... yet all these lies have been passed along as holy writ by a thoroughly compromised western political class and media who have prostituted themselves most completely to a man and woman leaving them with no integrity whatsoever.

WAR MODE JOURNALISM

Editorial control and self-censorship regarding "reporting" about the Ukraine conflict in the West requires that any negative factors be minimised in importance and completely ignored if at all possible and even the tiniest gains are to be exaggerated into massive victories. In this way the increasingly hapless conscripts of the Ukrainian army are thrown to their doom on the front lines. Lies, blatant fabrications, inflated success, obvious misinformation and propaganda all conspire to lose the Ukrainian ever-increasing losses. Deaths, grievous injuries and massive trauma, frostbite, hunger and all manner of psychological dysfunction are all driven forward by editors and commentators in the West sipping their coffee or whisky, dining out in exclusive restaurants and enjoying all the goodies in life they have become so well used to. It is as sick as it gets. All in a drive to give the impression that naturally the "show" must go on even when all is in reality lost with excruciating pain being suffered by families across Ukraine. It is no problem at all for those commentators and their editors across the western world. Their minds are closed with creative juices flowing only ti create ever more litanies of lie and exaggeration. No screams or pangs of abject suffering will ever reach their comfortable lives of happy ignorance and slavish devotion to 'the cause'.

A MULTIPOLAR WORLD JUST CAME INTO GREATER FOCUS

What once seemed a somewhat distant prospect has now emerged as a future reality with much greater and speedier potential for realisation. The gravitational pull of the world in regard to political influence is now decided toward the east. Two primary factors besides the recent historical record of western belligerence and aggression point the way, the wars in Ukraine and in Gaza.

What was once an unassailable position of influence held by the USA and its allies is now perilously close to being lost forever. And who will be there to pick up the pieces, who else but the nations of the global majority in the south and east. The overlong era of western domination which has seen the world in almost constant turmoil is nearing its end. Wiser and far more peace-loving minds are more than ready to take over the reins of power.

The past few decades have seen a precipitous descent in the reputations of the USA and its like-minded allies. A litany of blatant lies to instigate disastrous wars has brought the reputation of these states to an all-time low. And now, with the unmitigated disasters for them in both Ukraine and Israel we see the ultimate nadir in respect of their combined reputation. The more sensible among us have already perceived the necessity to rid ourselves of those who have caused the vast majority of global strife in recent years.

The manic desire of the western powers to aggressively mould the rest of the world to their image has been patently obvious for far too long now without world populations rising en masse to object. Using mass media as their tool and foremost weapon along with the massive degree of political and military muscle accumulated by violence over the years the West has maintained its grip. But for how much longer?

The constant messianic urge of the West to constantly assert its power over others while at the same time exploiting them to the hilt has disgusted an ever-increasing number over the years. The obviousness concerning the instigators of constant turmoil is no secret now if it ever was. Posing as benign benefactors the open secret of their constant aggressive intent is now no longer the debatable issue of past years where excuses could be made for their behaviour. With Ukraine and Gaza we see their true and bloody colours exhibited clearly before every open eye.

A multipolar world is therefore approaching nearer with every passing day. The world outside the West sees the naked aggression and willingness to deceive plainly before it and the number of lips curled in disgust has massively increased. The demise of these overweening powers with all their arrogance, hubris and constantly cynical machinations bringing endless death and destruction is now an urgent desire felt by a growing majority. Why should this majority any longer tolerate this destructive force constantly emerging from the western powers to inflict chaos on the world? The reasons why not of the past are gone. Now is the time to deliver every blow possible to end their cruel reign… forever.  

RUSSIA, THE WEST, NATO & UKRAINE: FIGHTING A RERUN OF WWII

All sides in this conflict can be seen to be fighting a re-run of the last war, the second world war, and some of them are obviously doing so quite blindly regarding the motivations and intentions of the other side.

For Russia the mentality they are fighting mirrors that of the Nazis, a foe that Russians have never been allowed to forget and with good reason. The western powers and their media, heavily invested in their struggle deny that the Russians have any cause to feel as they do. However, as the coup took place in Kiev and in the aftermath a significant number of these news outlets (including the BBC) reported on the dangers that those who looked back in honour of Hitler’s Nazis. That streets in western Ukraine were named after those Ukrainians who worked with the Nazis against Russia and all else including the proliferation of Nazi-like symbols and swastika tattoos were facts soon cast aside as irrelevant. Not so to the Russians.

On the side of the two successive Ukrainian regimes since the coup of 2014 those the Russians called Nazis were extremely useful as they were the fiercest of fighters and most willing to shell the civilian populations of the Donbass region who they looked upon as Russians to be eliminated by one means or another. These regimes who took over the political system of Ukraine that had previously elected presidents and governments who reflected the entire population of Ukraine saw their task as fighting only for the Ukrainian-speaking population. Those who spoke Russian and any source that communicated in Russian were to either be banned or heavily suppressed and if possible, driven out of existence.

For the best part of a decade the Russian-speaking majority in eastern Ukraine were relentlessly shelled by the Ukrainian army who had incorporated the fierce Nazi-loving west Ukrainians who had been at the centre of the insurrection and coup in Kiev. To those bombarding the apartment blocks, schools, hospitals and town centres of the Donbass the people there were subhumans, Moskals as they called them. Russians to be eliminated whether man, woman or child. None of this was reported by news outlets of the West now firmly behind the demonisation of Russia as the cause of all evil.

To NATO this is a war to survive. Left without any true reason to exist after the cold War ended there were too many reasons for its high command to wish to stay relevant and continue to exert its power. Nation after nation joined the alliance that had been formed to counter the Soviet Union. Closer and closer to Russia’s borders it came despite protestations among many high-ranking officials across the West. Due to the insistence of George W. Bush despite protestations by Angela Merkel and others it was announced at the NATO summit in Bucharest in 2008 that both Ukraine and Georgia would join. As the man who now heads the CIA said at the time, this was the reddest of red lines for Russia. 

For the USA and Britain a mythology of greatness, superiority and exceptionalism has developed since WWII which has imbued their reaction to the refusal of Russia to accept Ukraine in particular joining NATO. The fervour of their support for Ukraine and negation of any semblance of good reason in Russia’s stance echoes the kind of rhetoric seen during the fight against the Nazis. The same attitude of their being totally good as well as their Ukrainian allies and the Russians being totally bad is clear. This is ‘war mode’ when only a black and white analysis of a conflict is allowed and any deviation from this mode is shunned and attacked. That Russia might have reason to act as it is doing and reasonable intentions, is anathema. No middle ground is allowed to exist.

The blindness of the rhetoric used by the western powers and their media along with the complete absence of diplomacy augers very ill as anyone can see. No quarter is to be given, no understanding applied, not even a thought process that might generate understanding. Nothing.

In Zelensky we see a mirroring of Hitler’s stance throughout WWII, especially in his disallowing any retreat by his army from Stalingrad when it was caught in the firm grip of the Russian winter. That army suffered every possible extreme and subsequently surrendered. Frostbite ate at their extremities, food was scarce, to the extent that any flesh was eaten, including human flesh. Out of fuel and ammunition their only hope for survival was to surrender or be captured. Hitler refused all requests that they be allowed to retreat. The same mindset can be seen in Zelensky throughout this war. Anti-surrender squads who are in fact death squads force the Ukrainian troops to remain at their positions no matter what as Zelensky voices fantastical tales of victory.

The parallels are many with the second world war, however in the case of being on the right or wrong side there is no such parallel. The western powers have chosen to aid the oppressors of the Russian-speakers of the Donbass, they have sided with the modern day Nazis who have acted since 2014 with the utmost criminal cruelty. They have provided weapons to men who bear swastika tattoos and who have sworn to effect a genocide against all Russians, including those of the Donbass. Instead of allying themselves with the powers of good against Hitler’s Nazis they have allied themselves with those who honour Hitler and his Nazis and who seek to perpetrate a genocide in the Donbass. 

Watch any documentary series on the second world war and you cannot help to recognise the similarities between then and now. A Russia defending herself as she defended herself during WWII is a target for western neocons, little better than Nazis themselves who seek to undermine and break her up. Is it any wonder that Russia has chosen to engage her enemies and is now resolutely seeking to defeat them as a matter of existential necessity? There can be no doubt that as in the second world war that Russia will prevail. She must, the alternative is to see the Russian nation undermined and broken in pieces. No Russian is going to stand for that. Neither to live in fear. The lessons of WWII, or ‘The Great Patriotic War’ as the Russians call it are too fresh and the warnings too loud to ignore. 

Therefore, these various sides in this war, the Russians, NATO, the USA, UK and EU, and the Russia-hating western Ukrainians are locked in this struggle to the death. Only one side can win and the other be totally defeated and humiliated. As with WWII the side that has most to lose will fight with most vigour and the side with largest and most powerful resources will win. That side is clearly Russia and as with WWII those with the most self-sacrificing and noble aspirations and cause worth fighting for will win. And that side, without a shadow of a doubt, is Russia.

ZELENSKY, AUTHOR OF HIS OWN DEMISE… AND JUST POSSIBLY OF HIS ENTIRE NATION

What we have seen from the Ukrainian president in his constant interference in Ukrainian battle plans has more to do with theatre for the western powers' consumption than valid battle tactics. (The correspondence with the interference by Adolf Hitler in WWII is worthy of some attention.)

The western powers control the purse strings, without the financial support of western nations the entire edifice of Ukrainian opposition to Russia crumbles and falls. Therefore, Zelensky, almost since the very start of this conflict has been concerned with making a show of things for the westerners. However, his ability to make any kind of show of things is fast reducing. His options are far fewer now.

The barefaced lies of previous times won't prove effective now. Russia is fast gaining total ascendancy right across the battlefront and not only there. The Russian economy is robust and expanding, more and more nations are showing just how much they trust Russia as an ally as opposed to the USA and others in the West who have proven to be the most fickle of friends and who are now very little short of being seen as outright enemies.

Zelensky can do nothing. The die is set for him. He cannot relent and allow negotiations. If he does this the Nazi-mentality extremists in Ukraine will find a way to off him and perhaps his whole family. He knows this. So he cannot do what is necessary. But also he appears unwilling to let go of power. Therefore, he MUST be removed by one means or another... before Ukraine ceases to be a viable state in any form.

The end is coming for Zelensky, one way or another, and perhaps for the very existence of the nation known by the name Ukraine.

It may well be that Zelensky had no other decent cards to play. Elected on a platform of bringing peace to the conflict in eastern Ukraine he almost immediately betrayed all who had voted for him. The events which persuaded him to do this may one day be known, however to this day we do not know them. Most likely he was told in no uncertain terms by the most bloodthirsty ideological militants in western Ukraine that to do so would bring his speedy demise. It is difficult to see what other factors, other than, as we have perennially seen through the conflict, the influence of the Americans and their chief ally, Britain.

Zelensky must surely have known he was on a hiding to nothing no matter WHICH way he jumped. The safest option in those early months of his presidency when faced with very real threats against his life was to abandoned all thoughts of being a peacemaker and get in line with all the voices stridently advocating more war. From that time to since he has not varied from a stance of some fantastical and absolutist victory over Russia. This will have pleased the most bloodthirsty and hateful but ultimately it will seal his demise. The Ukrainian army, no matter how much weaponry they received from western sponsors was NEVER going to defeat a Russia fighting for its security in the face of not only the NATO threat, not only the desire of western Neocons to weaken it and carve it up, but also from a belligerent next door neighbour that included as its most influence, a vast mass of Nazi-mentality militants swearing avowed allegiance with actual Nazis of WWII.

It can be seen that Zelensky is in the unenviable position of being between the veritable rock and a hard place. You may say, why didn’t he simply resign the presidency when he saw it was a poisoned chalice, drop out of politics altogether and go back to being a comic actor and entertainer. Why not indeed. But this overlooks what must have been immense pressures for him to stay the course. An entire political party now looked to him to lead them, many of them his colleagues from his career in television. Was he to simply abandon them and the party that depended upon him as its figurehead. No, quitting and trying to regain his former life was a forlorn enterprise that he is bound to have recognised as such.

But the end is nigh as they say. His peak of popularity across the western world peaked many months ago now. Now he traipses across the world as a lonely and rather forlorn creature, with his political peers finding him more and more of an embarrassment and not the “hero” he was made out to be not so long ago. Success is attractive, abject failure is most decidedly not. Ukraine’s pre-lauded summer offensive achieved extremely little at the cost of more than one hundred thousand Ukrainian lives. Those minuscule gains are now being swallowed up again by a Russian army incrementally moving forward. Zelensky has nothing, or very close to nothing, to crow about. His exhortation to the Ukrainian army to take 500 metres every day was a sick joke on the day he demanded it and an even sicker joke now.

Zelensky is essentially a dead man walking. He is dead but not quite ready to lie down. All around him are intrigues and mysterious deaths. And his time for disappearing from the stage of history is surely coming, after which he will appear as a historical footnote accounting for his brief rise and precipitous fall, almost Shakespearean in its tragic nature but all too readily associated with the folly that comes with every theatrical farce.

UKRAINE’S DEFEAT & WESTERN RESPONSE: MORE FAKE NARRATIVES & THE MEMORY HOLE

Even as some 500 to 1,000 Ukrainian troops die or are severely injured each day that dawns western “news” outlets continue to attempt a misinformation campaign to put a positive spin on things.

And of course it is not only the level of attrition concerning the Ukrainian military that points to the inevitable conclusion of this conflict, the proof of the final outcome comes in the form of steady territorial gains across the battle lines in eastern Ukraine. There is no stalemate as western audiences are told. There are incremental Russian gains, day after day after day.

Of course it is hardly surprising that western mass media continues its stance of portraying the conflict in Ukraine the way it does, constantly disseminating a rosy picture of Ukrainian victory and Russian defeat. Though it must surely have been clear to each commentator and editor for many months now if not for the entire progress of the war, that Russia was never going to be defeated, still they saw it as “their job” to keep western spirits up. Winning in Ukraine is an existential task for Russia. Its security in perpetuity rests on its winning against the forces arrayed against it. Russia simply CANNOT afford to lose, and will not.

No one should have been in any doubt concerning the resolve of the Russian state and people in regard to the security of the Russian state. The historical record regarding Russia’s defence of her borders and population should have been enough to tell any intelligent observer that Russia and its people would do everything it takes to ensure all threats to them were nullified and nullified completely.

The argument in the West goes that NATO is a benign organisation that is only there to defend, not attack. It is never made clear to anyone how the NATO attacks on Serbia and Libya align with this assertion. This level of misdirection, misinformation and barefaced lying has characterised so much of the western political and media approach to both Russia and Ukraine. Assertions of untruths and blindness toward realities such as the incessant shelling by Ukrainian forces of Russian-speaking civilians for almost a decade, have characterised a western approach totally lacking in objectivity, integrity or anything approaching even-handedness.

However, having said all of the above, the awful truth delivered by an undeniable reality is now slowly being forced upon western commentators. The sham reality that they have bathed western populations in with thousands of misleading and partial reports is now collapsing and becoming increasingly impossible to sustain. Russia is inexorably grinding the Ukrainian forces down and, with vastly greater resources in both men and machines Russia will demonstrate this fact increasingly over these winter months.

Ukrainian troops are demonstrating their utter misery on the front lines. A significant number have been  captured suffering from frostbite, even now as the winter season is only starting. As the merciless cold of this region intensifies it is certain that poorly equipped Ukrainian troops will signal their desperate state in even more of the videos that are now beginning to proliferate. The Russian onslaught will inevitably increase significantly in the coming months as stockpiled missiles are brought into play in a surge forward that will surely make it absolutely clear to every western propagandist out there that they have failed abjectly in their task.

The people of the USA, of Europe and of the United kingdom are about to be awakened from their induced slumber of wishful thinking concerning Ukraine, Zelensky and the status of the Russian military. Eyes are about to be opened wide across the West. Even now western political and media elites are readying alternative narratives with which they hope to snow their audiences. They will most likely say that because Russia did not take all of Ukraine it failed. They will try to make the case that the Ukrainian regime and its ragtag army were heroic and staved off the Russian onslaught bravely. All manner of soft-soap explanations will be used to sanitise the defeat being suffered and negate the massive extent of damage for the West and its military tool, NATO.

Will the next waterfall of western lies, obfuscations and narrative spin be effective? Hardly. Too many have now looked deeper than the western headlines and wishful thinking imbued videos on YouTube. The stark reality of the Russian victory against ALL the western nations arrayed against it will be completely obvious for those with eyes to see and minds to digest the facts. Russia will have won her security in perpetuity, the Russian-speaking populations it fought so hard for will be free to preserve all aspects of their lives most important to them without fear of attack and with the knowledge that their children will be safe again for all time to come. Russia will achieve her every goal. Ukraine will again become a neutral land, increasingly a normal neighbour as she dispenses with the extremists who took power in 2014 and votes in those who will rebuild the nation in good relations with ALL her neighbours.

Russia has spent much blood and treasure in this war, just as she did against the Nazis so long ago. She will never allow the Nazi-mentality brood who hatched in the years since world war two in Ukraine to ever find a way to threaten her again. The Ukrainian army will be reduced to a rump, consigned to barracks or in ceremonial roles. Those who presided over the vast, tragic, debacle of the last decade in Ukraine will be pilloried across all Ukrainian media and those who abused their power in such a despicable manner in those years will either be jailed or be exiled.

Russia was always going to win this. Its national security depended upon it. All those who acted in an attempt to halt that existential goal of the Russian state and people were deluding themselves all along. The outcome above was ALWAYS inevitable and those who attempted to naysay that outcome were either deluded to the nth degree or mere well-paid automatons for the mass media lie machine that creates western so-called news. This outcome will now be seen in stark detail and be impossible to hide… but we all know how these presstitutes work by now, they will do their utmost to spin it. And when they see this fails to be effective they will then go into amnesia mode, Ukraine, like Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya will simply be the next to be dropped into the western memory hole.
