THE MADNESS OF MACRON’S BURNING AMBITION COULD GET THE WHOLE WORLD INCINERATED

 

Emmanuel Macron wants to emulate French president General Charles de Gaulle but without de Gaulle's tactical acumen. What are the chances that Macron's push for ever more war will have a happy outcome?

Emmanuel Macron sent a large group of French officers into Ukraine. Russia destroyed them all in a missile strike and then listed their names for all to see. It was not only these men who were killed, additional French officers who arrived at the scene were also destroyed in a second strike. So, the present reckless words by Macron about sending even more Frenchmen to die in Ukraine are understandable, as is today’s announcement that France will send even more Caesar artillery pieces to Ukraine. The little Napoleon is stamping his feet in a rage. But his petulant tirades have the possible eventual outcome of the whole world getting burned.

Most of France’s NATO allies have spoken out in horror regarding Macron’s reckless statements urging him to shut up and stand down. All except for Britain and certain Baltic states who appear ready to contemplate the potential initiation of a third world war. 

If NATO troops are sent into Ukraine Russia has stated unequivocally that it will target them as belligerents. They will be categorised as mercenaries and targeted relentlessly.

Without doubt Macron will also be happy to allow F16 fighters, promised for delivery to Ukraine by mid-summer, to fly from French airports to attack Russian forces. Britain, Poland, Romania and those Baltic states mentioned above are likely to allow this also. Several statements have been made in Russia regarding this possibility. They make it clear that there will be strikes on those airports where F16s are stationed, regardless of their location.

We are approaching the ultimate crisis in Ukraine. The Russian military is making gain after gain with increasing numbers of Ukrainian military dead, wounded and deciding to surrender. It appears certain that within a matter of weeks Russia will initiate an offensive that will succeed in breaking Ukrainian lines, and delivering a defeat to the Ukrainian military and regime from which it cannot possibly recover. The chance for the Ukrainian junta to negotiate anything approaching a favourable negotiated peace will be gone. The western powers, and especially the insane leaders of France, Britain and Baltic states, appear ready to double down one last time. The risk is of course that it could turn out to be ‘the last time’ for many things, including the possibility of life on earth.

Macron and his fellow madmen are leading us all to the brink of the ultimate disaster. They appear totally blind to the resolve on the Russian side to establish the security of Russia once and for all against those seeking to destabilise and undermine it. For all our sakes we must hope that all these little Hitler’s and wannabe Napoleon’s are relieved of their duties and ability to command very soon. If not, then their burning ambition to destroy Russia may well mean we ultimately all burn together.

ZELENSKY’S TASTELESS “PEACE” PLAN TO BE SERVED UP TO SWISS ‘MR CREOSOTE’ IN JUNE

A guest who always outstays his welcome due to being in a constant state of entitlement, has a new plan. He'll curry favour by serving up a disgusting, rehashed meal long past its sell-by date.

From the delusional universe of Volodymyr Zelensky, the world’s greatest consumer of weaponry, comes version two of his re-heated ‘peace plan’.

This one will have more holes in it than a Swiss cheese. Quite appropriate that, as it will be re-cooked and served up once again in Switzerland come mid-June. This unappetising fondue will be something to be dipped into by only the less discriminating guests at the table. Russia will be happy to be excluded and it is sure she will reject all attempts to encourage her to come within  a sniff of that unlucky table.

Zelensky, already known as an inveterate scrounger, greedily eating up anything set before him, will without doubt call everything on the menu delicious. Gorging himself on vacuous statements by other guests promising him endless supplies of whatever it is he wants, Zelensky will however express his petulant dissatisfaction as usual. “Can I have some more?” More, more and even more is all the little gourmand knows for table talk. It’s all quantity rather than quality with the man with an endless stomach… for trouble.

Out of his miserable kitchen the Zelensky’ peace “plan” demands Russia leave everywhere it has liberated from his Nazi hordes, including Crimea. Then and only then will Zelensky be ready to talk peace. If this makes any sense to you then you must be the “Peace Plan” president himself because to everyone else it is totally devoid of rationality.

What would be the point of Russia talking to Zelensky at all if Russia was to agree to the clock being wound back to 2014 when the then Ukrainian regime took over and began eliminating all things Russian from Ukraine and began transforming itself in to a NATO member? Would they engage in small talk about the weather?

I mean “Duh!” What kind of nuttiness IS that? The kind cooked up in an addled brain is what, in the small demented and delusional mind of a second-rate comic? This is all so incredibly idiotic but may well raise a laugh or two… of derision.

This is the concoction: Russia to surrender everything achieved to date, to open the gates to Ukraine joining NATO, allow the Nazis who hate the Russian-speakers of the Donbass to exert domination of them and suffer the citizens of Crimea to be slaughtered while Russia’s Black Sea fleet in Sevastopol is replaced by a NATO navy? To call this a peace plan would only make sense in the context of a revised version of George Orwell’s ‘1984’, i.e. as in his slogan representing the duplicitous modus operandi of a totalitarian state, ‘WAR IS PEACE’.

No, the recipe for this fondue of Zelensky’s has too many poisonous ingredients in it. They are stirred deep through the entire mix, totally baked in and served up, laughingly, as the sole item on the menu. If the Russians even took a single bite out of this noxious gruel they’d immediately be sick to their stomachs. It’s a meal not fit for dogs. I’m sure the Swiss would find it unacceptable in any restaurant on their various soils be it Italian, French or German.

Zelensky’s piss-awful peace plan will be served up to western legacy media however, and they will lap it up like so much caviar, such is their appetite for the poorest quality of fare imaginable. In fact they, being of a bulimic constitution, are quite likely to gorge themselves, then vomit it all up, re-heat it and serve it again and again in a repeating cycle worthy of Monty Python’s ‘Mr Creosote’.   But would Mr C, even with HIS enormous and insatiable appetite allow Zelensky’s tasteless peace poison to pass his lips?

WILL YOU DIE FOR UKRAINE?

According to Zelensky we should give our all for the sake of Ukraine, that nothing is more important, not your nation's economic future or even your life. Are you ready for the ultimate sacrifice?

If you listen to Volodomyr Zelensky speak you will soon realise that Ukraine is the most important nation that ever was and that the entire world should therefore come running to preserve this beacon of righteousness and democracy. Indeed you should be willing to die for him and his invaluable nation.

The global supply of weapons, including those that NATO nations have, Zelensky believes they should immediately put at his disposal, All national budgets should have Ukraine as the foremost beneficiary. And, if Ukraine finds it is running out of manpower to pour into the Russian meatgrinder machine then all other nations must provide their sons and daughters as a matter of course to fight for holy Ukraine.

So, are you ready? Ready to die for Ukraine? It’s only a matter of time before Zelensky calls on you to offer yourself up to die in eastern Ukraine. You may get two weeks training first, it’s possible. Then again you can choose simply to fling yourself at the Russian lines without any. It won’t matter much to Zelensky. It seems we’ve all got to offer everything, including our lives for his sake and that of his exceptional nation.

Zelensky has another way of bringing about our annihilation however. This involves a two pronged attack. The first is to send missiles into the town squares and high rise apartment blocks of Russian cities just across the border, killing as many men, women and children as possible. This in the hope that he can make Russia react in response to a degree that will draw NATO into the fight, at which point we arrive at WWIII and things go nuclear. The second gambit that could end in us all dying for Ukraine, at least across Europe, is to hit the largest nuclear power plant in Europe that Russia liberated from the Ukrainian regime last year. It has been hit by an increasing number of Ukrainian drones only this week.

These are the acts of a desperate man, a delusional man also (as Time magazine reported recently). There was a similar desperate and delusional man who used similar methods in WWII. You may recall the catastrophic effects he had and the number of deaths he was willing to countenance, an almost unlimited number if you recall. The ego of that man was equally unlimited. Everything was expected to defend him and his own nation. But ultimately both were destroyed. This is exactly what is happening to Zelensky and his own country now. Every last Ukrainian may die and he would no doubt STILL be calling for more of everything from everyone.

How much more of everything are western politicians willing to pour into the money pit that is Ukraine. How much more of American and European taxpayer’s money? How many more billions? And it seems, if France and Britain get their way, how many lives also are to be thrown into a similar pit? An infinite number? This appears to be the number Zelensky is contemplating. An infinite number of everything, including lives. All for arguably the most corrupt, undemocratic and totalitarian nation the world has ever seen. How does the prospect of losing your particular nation’s economic future for the sake of Ukraine appeal to you. How about losing your life and indeed the lives of all those you know and love?

WILL YOU DIE FOR UKRAINE?

HAS LIFE IN THE WEST BECOME MORE ORWELLIAN OR KAFKAESQUE?

When your state tells you what you must not say, the viewpoints you must, or must not hold and punishes you for thinking or stating otherwise, then your state is actively seeking to enslave you.

Everything I have written in these many commentaries are the result of my own thought processes. They represent solely views which I genuinely hold. However, if they were to be read by any figure of authority in the West they would be labelled as propaganda, Russian propaganda. I would be deemed to have committed a thought crime and quite possibly be jailed. I wonder if you feel this compares well to the description of our region of the planet as ‘The Free World’ during the period of the Cold War. Does it not more accurately compare to life in a totalitarian state, somewhere distinctly Orwellian, or perhaps even Kafkaesque?

The term "Kafkaesque" is used to describe concepts and situations reminiscent of Kafka's work, particularly Der Process (The Trial) and Die Verwandlung (The Metamorphosis). Examples include instances in which bureaucracies overpower people, often in a surreal, nightmarish milieu that evokes feelings of senselessness, disorientation, and helplessness. Characters in a Kafkaesque setting often lack a clear course of action to escape a labyrinthine situation. Kafkaesque elements often appear in existential works, but the term has transcended the literary realm to apply to real-life occurrences and situations that are incomprehensibly complex, bizarre, or illogical.

In the dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949), by George Orwell, the word thoughtcrime describes a person's politically unorthodox thoughts, beliefs, and doubts that politically contradict the tenets of Ingsoc (English Socialism), the dominant ideology of Oceania. In the official language of Newspeak, the word crimethink describes the intellectual actions of a person who entertains and holds politically unacceptable thoughts; thus the government of The Party controls the speech, the actions, and the thoughts of the citizens of Oceania.

In contemporary English usage, the word thoughtcrime describes the personal beliefs that are contrary to the accepted norms of society.

We are told today that any thought expressed openly that does not conform to the government stipulated view on either Russia or Ukraine is propaganda, and further that everything emanating from Russian officialdom is flatly propaganda with nothing more to say about it than that. And further, that to express views which conform in any way, shape or form to Russian “propaganda” among those living within the western world are punishable. No freedom of speech is to be allowed in these circumstances. Certain thoughts and expression of certain views are deemed to constitute a crime. In addition, this prohibition can extended to certain activities such as emphasising the letter Z in some way. (A man in Germany a few years ago received a heavy fine for placing the letter Z {showing support for Russia} in the rear view mirror of his car.)

In Hungary and Slovakia today the heads of state are opposed to the fuelling of the conflict in Ukraine through the supply of weapons to the Ukrainian regime and advocate that a negotiation process be implemented to seek peace. For these views they are generally shunned and continually verbally and politically attacked for holding this position. The only acceptable view, according to the European Union bureaucracy is one which advocates for an open ended supply of weapons of war to the regime. Both subtle and unsubtle methods are underway to negate the influence of both premier ministers seeking by whatever means become available to remove them from power.

Where we must wonder are the virtually sacrosanct tenets of ‘democracy’, ‘free speech’ and ‘western liberal values’ that we have been told are the reasons why our societies are superior to certain others and that in addition, justify and sanctify our regime change attacks upon nations our leaders call ‘authoritarian’, ‘totalitarian’ or ‘dictatorships’? Has something significant been revealed behind the edifice of supposed normality within western nations as now governed by our political elites, something that calls into question all the protestations by them that they honour our ‘rights’ above all else? I believe so.

Our right to free speech has been enshrined in law here in the West, or so we thought. We have been told many times down the decades that we live in a ‘free society’ where we could think and speak freely and have freedom to associate as we pleased without fear of repression or punishment from above. Why have these rights, so integral (we have been told) to our way of life in the West, suddenly disappeared? Why instead do we have an imposition of narratives from western politicians and news media that are deemed unquestionable? No war against Russia has been officially announced, yet this is the reason for the draconian policies we now suffer under prohibiting our right to think and speak freely.

In the western world and in the collective west that extends to the far flung allies of the western powers, the political bureaucracies have agreed in most part to imposing a ‘war mode’ mentality on their citizens. Nothing bad must be said about anything the Ukrainian regime or its military does or has done. Nothing good must be said about anything the Russian authorities does or has done. Ukraine is all good, Russia all bad. End of discussion and woe betide anyone who says otherwise. Who is repressive now? Who is in the right? Such thoughts are dangerous because those who hold power currently in the West have told us what to think, how to think and what our conclusions MUST be. 

So my question, what kind of society are we living in now here in the West, Orwellian… or Kafkaesque. Or perhaps and most likely, a combination of the two.

IN THE WEST WHERE ARE DEMOCRATIC PRINCIPLES WHEN IT COMES TO WAR?

Millions protested across Europe against the attack upon & invasion of Iraq. The USA, UK & the 'Coalition of the Willing' carried on with their lie-based campaign anyway. What lessons can be drawn?

It is becoming a distant memory now but once upon a time, something that will be remembered by the older ones among us, there was a feeling that our votes actually counted for something. At that time there was more of a distinct difference between the main parties that you could choose from. Can this be said today? 

Do the votes cast at presidential or general elections count for anything these days? When lobby groups, advisers and non-governmental organisations and other elite vested interests have the ear of the powerful, what part does the electorate play other than give one side or the other the franchise for the next four years? What would be the difference if they simply took turns one after the other at running things in coordination with their chosen vested interests? 

Turning to foreign policy, how much say do the electorate in the USA, UK or EU have in the expenditure of billions of taxpayers’ money on Ukraine? Where was the mandate for this generosity with money that could otherwise be spent on improving the lives of those taxpayers who worked hard thinking their governments would do the right thing by them? Were those electors given anything resembling a choice on this? 

It was believed until recent times that wherever possible western governments, aligned as they supposedly were with the values of the United Nations, would do everything possible to bring violent conflicts to an end. It has long been the case that it was expected they would use their ‘good offices’ to calm waters and bring the warring sides together in negotiations with a view to resolving differences in some form of settlement. No more it seems. Instead the agenda has flipped where they encourage even more war, death and destruction.

What is going on? Where are actions that conform to the principles enshrined in the founding documents of the United Nations? And, you could ask, where is the United Nations on these questions? Has it become entirely toothless and if so aren’t we at far more risk now than we have been in living memory. If the doorkeeper that is the UN, there to reduce tension and advocate for peace has become complicit in the promotion of war is no longer on guard then the door to a potential Armageddon is wide open.

It is abundantly clear that the western powers, the USA, UK and most of the EU have no interest in finding a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. Instead of pouring water on the flames they are determined to keep supplying fuel to it instead. With us having no right to say anything about it and it being inferred that it is all being done in our name? How far have we come as people if this is even remotely true. Are we all warmongers now? What happened to our sense of horror at the prospect of war. Did we all, with our politicians to the fore, completely forget what excruciatingly terrible things occur daily during a war?

I suspect most of us, unlike our political “masters” have not fallen in love with war. We may well be confused due to the one-sided, totally simplistic war mentality exhibited by our politicians and media, but surely we have not fallen into the pit of darkness that comes with jingoistic hatred of an enemy just as human as we are. If that is our condition then we are lost indeed. Such hatred, as we all surely know, confused as we may be, inexorably destroys the hater as well as the targeted foe who we decided to call subhuman in order to justify ourselves. 

The fallback character assassination technique is to call whoever the latest target of our political classes is the new Hitler. This consigns such people to the avidly wished for disposal category. Taking all our “knowledge” of such people from thoroughly sources that deliver a comic book rendition of god versus evil we feel no need to think, only to react. Something must be done and if it is war, then so be it, we get behind that in a state of moral rectitude. Only to discover later that what were told was not worth the paper it was printed on. We were duped. Once again.

Where is democracy when you need it most, where were we given the choice to kill and destroy, to even remotely take the responsibility to wreck lives and livelihoods? Can we be satisfied that just because we marked a cross against a name in a voting booth we simply have to assume this one or that one is doing the “right thing”? Is continuing to promote more war EVER the right thing? Where will we find peace internally if we continually promote it externally? And if we allow our leaders to abandon the principle of seeking a peaceful solution to conflict and both major parties agree on war and ever more war, where in this do we have any democratic choice?

UKRAINE & ENTIRE WESTERN WORLD: LYING COMES WITH NO CONSEQUENCES NOW

How many realise we're in a quite different world from the one we thought we lived in? This realisation is an extremely sobering one, to see clearly that our leaders are nothing but compulsive liars.

The old adage about the truth being the first casualty of war is as apposite now as it ever was. In fact more so. There has never been a war where lies flew at almost the same rate as bullets from a machine gun. And these lies hit the target. Large swathes of western populations, even after all the exposed lies of their legacy media for decades now, seem to accept them as Holy Writ.

It seems that jingoism and hatred of some enemy or other ‘over there’ are as alive and well across the West as they ever were. Just point to the figure that has been subjected to relentless demonisation for decades and then stand back and watch as ‘Team UK’ or ‘Team USA’ or ‘Team EU’ start to hurl the same old hate one more time. The pointer generated from either or both CIA or MI6 psychological operations teams stops at this year's focus of hate and away we go again.

The jamboree of jingoism relies on three things to be fully effective, a) empty heads, b) maximum gullibility and c) emotional receptivity. Get all these lined up and watch the hating start. Then of course you relentlessly feed that hate with any number of carefully spiced articles, social media posts, documentaries and even full blown motion pictures. It works every time. If Hermann Goering were still here he would tell you so.

Naturally the common people don't want war neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”

Think the Taliban, think Iraq, Libya, Syria… think Russia, think Putin. And all the others on the merry-go-round of hate that the CIA and MI6 fix you to if they can and then let you spin. It’s the regime change merry-go-round, spinning the “facts” to make them fit the agenda, getting the nuance right on every narrative so it’s all quite believable. Then spin it all a little more till you’re sick with hate and loathing, ready to make that enemy burn.

They lie and lie and lie, provided with an endless supply by the Hermann Goerings that infest Zelensky’s circle. The Russians did this, did that, and whatever else we can dream up. We did this to the Russians, we did that, and also that. All lies, but very effective lies when spun the right way and delivered at your daily breakfast table. Day after day after day.

DIPLOMACY DIED… BUT THERE ARE NO WESTERN ADULTS LEFT TO GRIEVE OVER IT

It was, until 9/11, the usual way conflicts ended if there was no prospect of a decisive result. If you are old enough you may remember the name of this dying art, The term for it was ‘diplomacy’.

The world appears to be run by petulant children these days. The screaming taking place has become the most prevalent means of communication, and plain speaking in a calm and cogent manner appears to have become a lost art, at least among the vast majority of western politicians.

What could have caused this apparent atrophying of western political brain power? Do these kindergarten tyrants throwing their weight and toys around have any concept of how such tirades can end? The spanking that takes place will be by their constituents, those who are looking on aghast at their antics. We must hope so at least, and before the body bags start arriving in bulk.

Diplomacy used to be the primary tool with which to calm tempers within and build bridges among two opposing sides. It has been used down the ages as a logical step by those who were able to perceive the outcomes most likely to emerge if things carried on as they were. Those with a heart that was not embroiled in the emotional turmoil exhibited by those they sought to bring together, were vital. Without them no war would ever have ended. Where are such people now? They are very much notable by their absence.

You may have heard talk of a ‘Forever War’ since the events of 9/11. I believe the clue to why diplomacy has died can be found in that short phrase. This is a war without recourse to diplomacy. A war where bridges are only burned, not built between opposing sides. It’s a war the protagonists who use this phrase do not envisage ever ending. They puff out their chests before beating them as warriors ready to smite every foe and exercise zero mercy in doing so. They are not minded to forgive, forget or ever, even for the slightest moment attempt to understand the motivation of their foes. They are to killed, defeated, undermined, humiliated, eliminated, destroyed… but heaven forfend they should ever be understood.

Diplomacy died and was speedily consigned for immediate and unrecoverable cremation in the hours after 9/11. It was conceived to be an unquestionable truth by those making the decision that it was no longer required and that further, it would only be a time-wasting barrier to attaining an urgently required outcome. That outcome was the destruction of every potential enemy of the USA and its allies out there. No quarter was to be given to those savages all tarred by the same brush. If you did not accept the USA as the leader of the free world and get yourself bowed quickly down to it, you were as bad as those who acted against it on 9/11.

As I have commented upon in previous texts Vladimir Putin quickly fell into the above category. This was in Munich in February of 2007 when he addressed the devotees of the above policy and stated boldly and baldly that Russia would be doing no bowing. You will find no hatchet jobs calling him all the names that are now very familiar in press or media between the year 2000 when he became president and his speech in 2007. In that year, from February of that year he became a marked man high, if not in the highest position of the list of those targetted. It was unconscionable for those at the top of the western political tree in that conference hall to hear Putin speak of the regime change wars the USA and its allies had engaged in, in negative terms. It was clear to them then and there that he had to go.

There was to be no diplomacy after 9/11. This is one reason why Trump was so very unwelcome as U.S. president from 2016 right to the end of his term. He attempted to revive the art of diplomacy. He met with Putin who most of the rest of the world considered to be a reincarnated Hitler by that point. He met with Kim Jong Un of North Korea. Here was someone who wasn’t on the bus that all others within the political hierarchy of the USA and its allies had climbed onto with alacrity immediately after 9/11. Why was he talking with their enemies instead of using the what by then was the standard mode of address, hectoring them as malignant devils?

In regard to the Middle East currently and in Ukraine also we see the same post-9/11 ‘no diplomacy’ playbook in operation. The Israeli government is using every possible weapon against the Palestinian people of Gaza. The USA can clearly be seen avoiding any suggestion that diplomacy should play any part. Perhaps one or two statements made as a kind of self-protective theatre may be mistaken for diplomacy but in reality none is truly being advocated or engaged in. The case in Ukraine is even worse and presents an even greater potential for escalation than that in Gaza. Escalation after escalation is order of the day, pushing things harder and harder toward an ever more destructive war, doubling down toward an unachievable goal of Ukrainian “victory”. No diplomacy exists and this seems to suit most of the western powers just fine. With the exception of Hungary and Slovakia only more war seems to fit the bill.

And so we who are mere bystanders watch as the political kindergarten kids attempt to knock lumps out of each other with no teachers or social workers in sight. No school bell rings. No adult enters the fray to separate the brawling tots intent on delivering a final blow to their peers. The headmaster/headmistress resigned as it became clear the place was ungovernable. No parents arrive to scold their offspring into being better behaved. Instead these mewling, screaming, kicking, scratching minors remain in a fight to the death within the kindergarten from Hell. The art of diplomacy has well and truly died and been given a very indecent burial. And it appears there is not a single adult left in the western world to grieve over the fact.
