THE WAR ON TRUTH (For Julian Assange)

We have come to a vile time in the long journey of humanity, a time when those in power have an overwhelming urge to suppress the power of the vast majority and keep them in abject ignorance.

These elites see us as a danger to them. They protect their power with whatever means are available to them. They use the complicit nature of other elites such as those of the mass media in an effort to silence us, to jail us and to eliminate us.

The truth is their enemy. They use lies as their weapon of choice. And their ability to keep us ignorant is the tool they use to imprison us.

Julian Assange became their greatest enemy of all and by every means including their usual lies they eventually ensnared him.

The western world has become the mirror-image of all it railed against in the former Soviet Union, it is a totalitarian composite of elites who care for nothing and no one except their present position and status.

The West is a prison of the mind. A laboratory where so-called journalists feed the captives their daily dose of untruths, fake news and utterly skewed analysis.

Julian Assange exposed them as apologists for a system that conducts murderous wars in its interests, as prostitutes for the powers that keep westerners blind, gullible and accepting of the mass slaughter they long to indulge in.

It is through a complicit press and media that the soulless politicians achieve the goal of making their misinformation, false narratives and propaganda believable.

The wars of choice the western world indulges in and the malignant policies of destabilization, demonization, torture, mass murder, constant racism and rampant destruction of distant socities reveal an evil the world has seen only fitfully in the past. These agents of chaos have even pointed to others who warned against these actions, nations such as China and Russia attempting to deflect attention to the enormous amount of blood on their own hands.

Julian Assange was their enemy because he exposed their hypocrisy and their callous manipulation of known lies, he revealed the ugly faces behind their smiling masks. He was able to rip the masks from their faces and became their mortal enemy for that.

In 2016 when the newly warmongering Democratic Party sought to eliminate Bernie Sanders from gaining any purchase on the levers of power they used every dirty trick in the book to achieve their ends. Their purchase by Wall Street, Big Pharma and the Military Industrial Complex meant that anyone for peace was their sworn enemy.

Julian Assange through Wikileaks exposed the dirty tricks they were using and in so doing exposed the deep levels of corruption at the heart of the Democratic Party, a party that was fast moving right, a willing slave to its corporate donors.

There is a war on truth being waged by the elites of the western world. They are desperately trying to shield their guilt from exposure. They want nothing of their dirty dealings revealed. They are taking whatever measures they wish regardless of legality, regardless of morality and within an environment of utmost desperation that their patrician grip on the world is at threat from China and other rising powers.

Julian Assange has provided a service to the world through Wikileaks. The vast majority of westerners have a right to know what is done in their name and speak against it in that knowledge if they disagree.

The 99% have been kept in the dark and fed lies by the 1% for so long now it has almost been accepted as normal until recently. Now certain warriors for truth such as Julian, John Pilger, Aaron Mate, Max Blumenthal, Anya Parampil, Ben Norton, George Gallagher, Tommy Sheridan and others have taken a firm stand against them.

They are the warriors who stand against the 1% for the 99% and they can stand only with our wholehearted support behind them. If we fail to support them they will fall victim to the elites who hate them and their ability to reveal their lies.

If we fail to support Julian and those warriors above they will stealthily be silenced by an elite that wants us to remain ignorant and constantly within their control.

And the war on truth will have been won.
