THE DEATH SPIRAL OF THE WEST

Is karma at work in the USA?

In the nation that killed millions overseas within living memory and millions more in its bloody history, beginning with its native population, and continuing with its slave population, these times are bleak.

In excess of a thousand die per day are being helped on their way by the coronavirus, Covid-19.

Mother Nature is blind to good and bad. She will not be picking out solely those who rabidly cheered on Dubya’s illegal wars and drooled to think of U.S. troops ‘killing them all to let God sort them out’. Decent people will be dying along with the racist warmongers who chanted their jingoistic slogans at that time.

No one would wish this curse upon the sick, elderly and those with the weak constitution brought on by bad diet and inability to pay the exorbitant health care costs prevalent across America. But dying they are, in their thousands each and every day. And there are over eleven million souls now affected with hospitals nearing maximum capacity.

Are the extremist and creationist, born again and evangelical “Christians” calling it a curse and if so what genesis are they choosing to identify as its cause? Who knows what lunatic reason they have fixed upon? However, it is unlikely it would be the communal guilt the USA bears for the death and devastation it has caused and continues to seek to cause worldwide.

America’s politicians from top to bottom are in disarray with Trump the worst of all culprits when it comes to delusional thinking and the promulgation of idiotic notions regarding the virus. Its mayors preside over different policies in different states, each one in crisis management mode seemingly totally unable to get a firm grip on the crisis. Its health care, with patchy coverage costing the savings and homes of anyone within its unenviable system has developed nothing for basic needs geared as it is to soak the rich.

Meanwhile, mobs of neaderthal-like boobies gather to protest their inane independence in their usual idiotic and braindead fashion. Are they chanting “Let Covid kill us and God can sort us out”? Unlikely, as there cannot possibly be a more delusionary, self-obsessed mob of mindless bullies and tyrants anywhere on Earth than in this benighted USA.

As it reels from the effects of the virus, its co-conspirator in war crimes and crimes against humanity, the so-called United Kingdom reels with it. Both, for their diverse and disgusting reasons, have been hit the hardest by this very modern plague. Can it really be coincidence that it was these two which were the driving forces behind all the regime change wars we have seen since 9/11?

Britain too has its bloody history which pulls it toward the karmic punishment that whether metaphorical or real seems entirely appropriate. It supplied many of those who slaughtered the native population of the USA and bought the slaves that were used to make fortunes for their masters and mistresses. The British Empire was more than cause enough with its heartless exploitation to generate such a karmic “reward”. And in more recent times it assisted the USA in its murderous assaults across the Middle East based on a pack of lies. This murderous activity continues to this very day in Yemen where both the USA and UK bare enormous guilt for the unconscionable war that Saudi Arabia has inflicted upon the Yemeni people. Britain and the USA are the primary suppliers of advanced weaponry and logistical support with which the Saudis carry out the bloody carnage there.

Death has been an industry for both the USA and UK for generation after generation. Now that bitter harvest appears to have returned to its source with a plague of illness and premature death being visited upon them.

Is it totally coincidental that at least one of the two primary nations who stood against the West’s wars of choice in the Middle East has managed to do what the advocates and instigators of those bloody crimes have not? China has taken the necessary measures to defeat the virus and now stands ready to become ever-stronger thereby. Just yesterday an agreement was signed between China and a group of fourteen other nations comprising the ‘Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership’, the world’s largest trading bloc that now covers one third of the global economy.

As the West continually exposes its weakness, the East rises and demonstrates there’s a better path to follow than that of aggression, exploitation and endless war, a path bringing ever-enhanced cooperation and stability through trust and trade.

Of course the karmic revenge scenario is fanciful in the extreme. Such justice is an unlikely feature in a world where many like to find causes for effects in myriad conspiracy theories and others say God knows and guides all. Both these notions are utterly flawed at their base. However, one thing is certainly clear. The West is foundering and the USA and UK are its two most prominent activist aggressors. I choose not to see it as coincidence that it is these two in particular that are writhing within a death spiral now.
