ELIMINATING THE ELITES

Eliminating the elites was never going to be a short term project. In fact it is most probably mission impossible. Elites will always tend to rise where there is no counterweight to them.

Those men and women who are sociopaths/socialized psychopaths will always find ways to reach positions of power within societies that don’t fully recognize the fact of their existence and tendency to do so.

Such people have many more weapons in their armory than the average person trying to make his or her way in life. They have an unlimited spectrum of verbal and tactical weapons in fact, they can call upon devices to gull, dupe, gaslight and manipulate that are impossible to list. Due to having no conscience to speak of and no adherence to ethical or moral conduct they have advantages over the rest of us that we simply cannot compete with. Thus they rise and often rise to the very top.

Once such people arrive at the top or near the top in whatever enterprise they have chosen as their favored target they will use whatever means they consider necessary to stay there and make alliances with those just like them to strike back at any effort to unseat them.

Business and politics are the two most favored spheres of influence, wealth and power for sociopaths/socialized psychopaths.

No one should be under the misapprehension that these people are always easy to identify. They fall within the category that we tend to accept as relatively normal, if somewhat rare. It is likely you have never been anywhere close to one unless you have a profession where you are in some proximity to elites of any kind. They tend not to remain at the lower rungs of human existence for long as they naturally gravitate to positions where they are in control of others and not controlled by anyone themselves.

You may even have admired some of them from afar at some time in your life. They can be larger than life, appear extremely dynamic and decisive, they can use charm and exude it at will whenever necessary, they can come across as powerful personalities, larger than life and apparently living a life full of powerful wheeling and dealing, risk taking and involvement in global concerns where they demand center stage.

Not all such people reach the top of their fields. Some few have more modest ambitions. Not every sociopath can be a high flyer. The confidence trickster has abilities in a lower harmonic of the same skill set used and abused by those more successful. The same absence of conscience is involved, the same ability to dupe through charm and other acting skills, the required absence of any ethical or moral compass. The con-artist is the elite psycho in miniature. Fleecing whoever he or she comes across and sleeping like a baby afterwards.

So, how to defeat such people when after all past centuries they have essentially taken over?

It’s not going to be easy. In fact it may well be impossible.

However, we have seen in the last few days how a start may have finally been made.

Previously, with the rise of the 'Occupy’ movement an upswelling of disgust regarding these sociopathic elites erupted, then subsided. Now, a new attack upon the wealth of the elites has arisen via a Reddit collective of some four million souls. Currently it is focused upon the hedge funds who via their legal but immoral acts continually enrich themselves at others’ expense. The ‘Redditors’ work in unison to create effects in Wall Street that make the predator elites of the hedge funds lose money hand over fist to the tune of $billions.

Hopefully this is only the start of a steadily increasing campaign that widens to cover many other elites including within the political sphere.

We may never bring down all the sociopaths that make this world the battleground we loath. We may never see the kind of world we know is possible where ethical conduct is the general rule rather than the law of the jungle. Such a utopia may simply be unattainable, always interminably out of reach due to other factors involving human nature, greed, ambition and self-seeking.

But the elites do have weaknesses in their armor. New technologies are exposing them.

And now an army exists to exploit them to the full.
