THE PUSH BACK AGAINST LYING WESTERN MEDIA BEGINS

It has long been the case that the impartiality the BBC claims for its news broadcasts and articles online do not extend to China or Russia. Nor does it to the entire range of western regime change targets such as Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, Syria and any others not willing to submit to the command of western elites.

 The BBC closely follows the narratives of the U.S. and British states regarding such nations, regularly channeling the narratives telegraphed to them via state functionaries and politicians.

This coverage is edited to be almost 100% one-sided with scant right of reply. The reports on Russia and increasingly on China are regularly totally negative, mirroring whatever current talking point is being emphasized by those elites they look to.

The same has been true regarding Syria where the obvious front group and terrorist facilitator entity, The White Helmets was reported as if its word was gospel truth. The aim is quite obvious in all such cases, to prop up the required talking points of the U.S., UK and other states who wish to see the government of Syria collapse (or whichever other government happens to be in the firing line at the time).

The sights move from place to place globally depending on which propaganda campaign is active at the time. For a long time the shots fired from the White House to Whitehall to the United Nations to a hundred mainstream media outlets and politicians such as John Bolton, Mike Pompeo and Marco Rubio was Venezuela.

Previously the topic was the airstrikes against terrorists in Syria by the Syrian and Russian military. A tactic used by the Nazis was seen time and time again where Syrian and Russian military officers and men were accused of waking up in the morning wondering which school or hospital to bomb that day. This was an attempt to demonize them as subhumans drooling at the thought of murdering schoolchildren and hospital patients.

Previous to Syria similar tactics and complete lack of balance was seen in the reporting of events in eastern Ukraine. If you watched the BBC or CNN or read articles posted by them on Ukraine from Spring 2014 to now you would get a wholly partisan view reflecting the usual state-proscribed western narratives.

In recent times the BBC, CNN and the entire state-orchestrated chorus of media voices has used the self-publicist and low-popularity provocateur Alexei Navalny as a stalking horse in an attempt to weaken Vladimir Putin’s position in Russia along with a plethora of other cooked up stories on other issues.

Initially we had the vile antics of a female pop group by the name of Pussy Riot who desecrated one of Moscow’s churches before being lionized by western press and mass media. Then one accusation followed another as western states used their complicit media outlets to target any available issue year after year in order to defame Putin and the Russian state. Accusations without evidence soon became assertions of guilt and certain qualifying words such as 'alleged’ and 'allegedly’ were simply dropped and western audiences were fed the required programming which with repeated use brainwashed the vast majority exposed to western mass media.

Russia remains a target for the BBC, CNN and others and even the discredited Russiagate material continues to be asserted as having some basis in fact even though none was found. An unfounded accusation of Russia paying bounties to the Taliban to kill American troops in Afghanistan was recently floated. Not a shred of evidence corroborating a single statement by one man, no doubt being tortured was spread as fact. Not a single piece of proof was found and it was denied by all parties. Yet, Joe Biden brought the issue up in his first phone call with Vladimir Putin. This is the environment regarding Russia. Any accusation soon morphs into absolute fact and is spread across all forms of media until it is believed by millions.

It seems like every month there is a new expose linked to Russia. Those at the CIA and MI6 must have entire teams working 24/7 on creating them.

In recent times the focus has swung to China with talking points on Hong Kong and the Muslim Uighur population in China’s Xinjiang province. The usual suspects have jumped at the chance to promulgate their misleading and entirely one-sided reports which usually simply channel the accusations of activists who are seeking either, the secession of Xinjiang from China (as in Hong Kong) or from Wahhabi Muslims who are sympathetic to others of their kind who have taken part in numerous terrorist acts killing many Han Chinese in the region.

The playbook repeats endlessly. Lies and half-truths presented as fact by politicians and so-called journalists alike, totally prejudiced claims that allow no correction by those accused, interminable reiterating of accusations that imply great evil. There is talk of genocide, forced sterilization, gang rape, anything and everything that might possible turn western populations into rabid promoters of the “Something must be done!” mentality. This is the sought for result in ever case.

And if there are outlets giving the other side of the story such as Russia’s ‘RT’ or China’s ‘CGTN’... then call them propaganda and try to get them banned so that your captive populations only here that one sided and wholly misleading and dishonest account:

Children being harmed. Schools and hospitals bombed. People being poisoned. Protestors jailed. Chemical weapons used. Journalists murdered. Concentration camps. Women raped. Genocide. Human Rights violations! Horrors committed by subhuman fiends! Something must be done!

Meanwhile, western elites fail to mention their war crimes across the Middle East in recent years in which hundreds of thousands died due to lies told and retold by western politicians and their mass media conspirators. No mention is made of the black sites where men, women and children were transported without trial by extradition to be tortured. Little mention of the concentration camp at Guantanamo, no more mention of the disgusting activities that took place at Abu Ghraib prison, no coverage of the crimes against humanity exposed by Wikileaks.
All written out of history to allow the perpetrators of these abuses and atrocities to point fingers ‘over there’ at Russia, China and others at what they do, even if what they claim was proven... would be as nothing compared to all of the above.

Russia and China have to this point taken all that has been thrown at them. But that is beginning to change. If necessary the Russian state will create its own national intranet and block that of the West. China is already blocking some aspects of western access to its people and has now announced that in retaliation against the UK for banning its ‘CGTN’ broadcaster it will ban ‘BBC World’ from China.

The push back against the constant stream of lies, deception and constant bias targeting Russia and China has now begun in earnest.
