The notion that the USA can do whatever it likes, wherever it likes, whenever it likes to whoever it likes is founded in a completely delusionary state unique at the levels seen in that nation run by braggarts.
For generations, the world has been told the USA has the biggest, the best, the most perfect and splendid, wisest, most wonderful, extraordinary and exceptional.
Those in the know however, able at a glance to see beyond the hyperbole recognize a completely different assembly of adjectives such as brutal, arrogant, sleazy, corrupt, greedy and aggressive, exploitative, warmongering, stupid, ignorant, hateful and egotistic.
In a nation whose religious fanatics call on their purported Old Testament god to sanction the killing of their enemies (“Kill ‘Em All. Let God Sort Them Out!”) and weird cults bray their idiocies can we really be surprised at the level of nauseating idiocy embodied in their leaders?
Far from being a model society, the USA is an ugly mix of delusion and ambition built upon an insane level of totally unsustainable greed. In the mix and at its heart is the risible notion that these insane notions of being exceptional must be brought to all regions of the globe and forced down the throats of everyone there.
A nation capable of the mass murder of hundreds of thousands and even millions which can then harp on about the human rights abuses of others seems beyond saving in moral and ethical terms. Yet among those headline surfer know-it-alls and avid believers in Fox News and all its vengeful tripe, there are also some of the most erudite and perceptive men and women alive today. To them we must apologise for the words we must use against their fellow citizens, especially in regard to the ruling elite, the vacuous and noxious political class.
Politicians in the United States work with their equally driven compatriots in the U.S. mass media to drive the collective masses of the nation insane and keep them locked in that state on a permanent basis. As with much else in the nation, its approach is a form of cynical mindlessness where intense scrutiny regarding how to create the correct stimulus to obtain the required response takes place. Citizens of the USA are, in this way, controlled rather than informed, mesmerized by shallow assertion rather than given access to facts, driven into a traumatized state of hubris-driven rectitude when a new war is required. In short the ‘Mushroom Syndrome’ is all, ‘Kept In The Dark And Fed A Load Of Shit’.
Driving the U.S. population to hate others, with all the above in place, is an easy matter. Using Goebbels’ advice, the same technique of repeatedly telling Americans that they are under threat and must fear attack from an outsider does the trick each and every time. The most heavily defended nation, armed to the teeth with advanced weaponry and a military that needs $billions more each cycle that has shown itself capable of slaughtering humans on an industrial level has a vulnerability complex second to none.
Starting with the genocide of its native population then proceeding to enslave millions from an African continent helpless to defend itself this is a nation with both a past and present to be ashamed of. In more recent times the entirety of Latin America was used as a U.S. exploitation zone, instigating methods of control using assassinations, coups and every other lever of coercion available to it. Pride of any kind should not play any part of the narrative concerning past U.S. behaviour. There is no room whatsoever for breast-beating rectitude, finger-pointing accusations or fist-raising hatreds of others as if moral rectitude is on their side.
Now, once again we see the intermittent result of such activity in Afghanistan. As with their humiliating defeat at the hands of the Viet Cong we see them go down in flames once more to the Taliban. Where is all their hubris and hate now? Washed away in wave after wave of humiliation. But will this lesson in arrogance and its downfall hit home for long, or for any time at all. It clearly will not. As this is written the thugs of the present American administration are piling more hateful oppression on their tiny neighbour Cuba, asserting its inalienable self-awarded right to flout international law, waging war against those weaker than it. As with the previous administration of the sociopath Trump, Biden’s is asserting its right to do whatever it likes wherever it likes, whenever it likes to whoever it likes. While its allies look elsewhere, pointing their fingers in the selfsame direction as the criminal leadership in Washington. The hubris and hatred endemic to the North American way of life and others’ deaths are shared in particular by its closest ally, the United Kingdom. The UK, along with its terrorist ally is shaping up as a prime candidate for a very large dose of humiliation and on a range of issues also.
These are the primary attributes of the West, those that torment our world and have tormented it for generations. However, the signs are increasingly hopeful that its era of death, domination and exploitation for others and greed-driven, unending ambition resulting in greater power for them, is ending. The western edifice of corrupt and corrupting influence is beginning to crumble.
With the fall of Afghanistan from their grasp and a rising China and Russia increasing their more benign influence across the region the U.S. and its allies have so ravaged we will now see an unending stream of humiliation for those of the West so endowed by both hate and hubris.
