WESTERN DICTATORSHIP & THE FALSE PROMISE OF FREE TRADE

Donald Trump explicitly demonstrated how U.S. elites are totally untrustworthy when it comes to signed agreements in reneging on the Iran nuclear deal. He revealed, if anyone was still in doubt, that the USA was engaged in a war against nations not bowing down to its wishes and that all possible weapons would be used against them.

Trump’s series of actions and statements against China revealed more of the same, specifically incorporating the denial of free trade that has become one of the primary weapons the USA uses against those it wishes to undermine, dominate and subvert to the degree they submit to its command.

Free trade was lauded by successive western governments, especially so since the Reagan-Thatcher years where monetarism was the shiny new economic dogma. Entrepreneurs, corporations and governments were to be set free to trade freely worldwide without let or hindrance, trade barriers were to be eliminated along with tariffs protecting local producers.

We have come a long way since those days. Now trade is anything but free and is used as a cudgel and lever to undermine other nations by those in the West, led by the enforcer-in-chief, the USA.

Sanctions are a weapon of war along with others such as financial barriers against sovereign states and propaganda designed to deceive a home audience and dismay those abroad. The West has descended from high-minded rhetoric to the dirtiest of dirty tricks in just a couple of decades. And there is not a single sign that western elites intend to do nothing except increase their use of all weapons at their disposal. Those weapons are designed to divide and injure, to destroy confidence, to slander and slur others, to deny their rights, in particular to trade freely.

The USA and UK along with their European allies are engaged in a full-scale war against all nations not willing to submit to them. This is an economic and semantic war thus far, but for how long can this war by other means last until some error of judgement causes a real, violent and bloody war to erupt?

At its heart this is a combined ideological and economic war. The elites of the West see the demise of their economic power to dominate others in tandem with a decline in their goal to have their values disseminated to all corners of the world. This latter attempt to dictate how all nations globally ought to be run is fuelling the western elite's determination to use every economic weapon possible along with all others in the fight to preserve their current dominance and expand it.

The goal of western elites is to establish once and for all their hegemony over the entire planet, to use all possible means to bring about their ability to enforce ‘full spectrum dominance’ over every state, entity and individual, to gain total predictive control in other words. With all their fine words about freedom and democracy, these elites want to enslave us all and dictate exactly how we should be, act and speak within a permanently unilateral world.

China is far and away the primary threat to the aims of the U.S. elites and their allies, followed some way behind by Russia, Syria and Iran, then farther behind still by others such as Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua. These nations are all active targets where thousands within the CIA and other western intelligence agencies along with a plethora of NGOs seek every possible tool with which to undermine and weaken them. This massive effort along with trade sanctions, tariffs, financial terrorism and undermining of foreign companies by outright bans are two of the main thrusts in the war the West is waging.

Gone are the days when a level playing field was sought regarding international trade. It has been replaced by an economic battlefield.

The USA has no right under international law to sanction companies involved in the creation of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. The project is a joint Russian-German-French-Italian project that is purely economic and there is no justification for the USA to interfere in it in any way. Yet it does. And the so-called ‘International Community’ (in fact merely those nations closest to the primary powers of the West) stays resolutely silent. This, arguably most clearly demonstrates that all normal rules regarding trade have been eliminated while this war by the West continues.

Free trade is essentially dead as a concept. Trade is now regulated by the will of the most powerful to suit themselves.

China will find increasing efforts to destabilize and undermine its Belt and Road Initiative, already a target for U.S. entities working at the behest of its political masters.

There will clearly be no let-up in this end game war for total global dominance and virtual dictatorship by the West until either they or good sense in the form of Chinese and Russian tolerance for diverse systems of governance win out.

Until the point where an obvious winner is clear to all, free trade will remain an abandoned concept, regulated to a period in history when a common-sense approach was prevalent rather than a desire to initiate perpetual conflict.
