THE RISE OF THE APOSTATES & THE WEST’S RESPONSE

China is rebounding fast from the pandemic, its economic indicators are heading upward once again. It can’t be much longer before she powers past the USA on all fronts.

Russia, though deeply enmired still by Covid, is on course to see her economy rise significantly this year also.

These two have taken all the blows from the declining powers of the West and emerged stronger with policies and defences in place that make them immune to all but the most deadly attack of all.

More than their own rise they are now arriving at a position where they are able to materially assist all other nations under threat by the West. The first of these is Iran, now a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.

‘The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), or Shanghai Pact, is a Eurasian political, economic, and security alliance. It is the world's largest regional organisation in geographic scope and population, covering three-fifths of the Eurasian continent, 40% of the world population, and more than 20% of global GDP.’ (Wikipedia)

In response to the attacks made upon it by western elites in recent years Iran has turned defiantly to Eurasia, to Russia and China for protection. This alliance of apostate powers against the ideological driver of world instability, the USA and its allies, is a direct result of acts of aggression by the West stretching back many decades. The protection afforded by the two most prominent Eurasian powers remains in the nascent stage, however.

It is certain that in the months to come we will hear of Russia and China coming to major agreements with Iran. Russia will supply a sophisticated defence system to better protect Iran from combined attacks by Israel and the USA. China will agree to afford Iran billions of dollars worth of investment. The drive to protect the apostate powers of the world, those who remain under threat from the western powers and whose sovereignty is constantly being undermined is now on.

Iran is the primary project for assistance by Russia and China currently. In tandem, though at a lesser pace both Cuba and Venezuela are surely the focus of similar efforts, as too will surely be Nicaragua and Bolivia. The western elites clearly know all too well that the window of opportunity to damage these states and achieve regime change is closing. The level of blowback if they engage in such activities is rising. Their ambitions regarding Ukraine, Taiwan and Iran now surely engender a constantly increasing level of urgency in their thinking.

NATO will before long announce its new strategies for countering not only a rising Russia but also China and within those strategies will be the contemplation of the use of tactical nuclear weapons deployed preemptively against them.

Western elites are becoming increasingly desperate as they see the windows of opportunity closing on their ambitions. Those ambitions represent an unavoidable requirement to the western allies, their only remaining hope of shoring up their fast diminishing hegemonic powers. If they miss the chance to significantly weaken Russia and China now they know it will not come again, or at least the blowback from any contemplated attacks would start to become exponentially higher in all future years.

There are few more dangerous things than a mortally wounded animal with nothing to lose in striking out at all it perceives as enemies. The West is descending. The East is ascending. Western elites who perceive themselves as the sole arbiters of global right and wrong, as the enforcers of “correct” global systems and “values”, cannot allow their dominance to wane or that of the apostate nations to rise. Yet if present trends continue that is exactly the future that presents itself to them.

So, what are western elites now contemplating in the face of a continuing reduction in their own power and influence and the rise of those they consider to be their enemies? It can increasingly be seen that they have only one significant card to play.

In regard to Iran, it is unlikely that a nuclear strike is contemplated at this time. The munitions used are more likely to be the kind of ‘bunker busting’ bombs used against Saddam Hussein’s Iraq in the second gulf war, increased in destructive power and sophistication since that time. These would be deployed by planes on loan to Israel from the USA.

When it comes to Russia and China the USA would take full responsibility in directing tactical nuclear weapons to targets such as the Kerch Bridge and other such low-collateral targets. These strikes would be presented as warnings only, events of catastrophic damage but low human death count. The spin accompanying these strikes would emphasise the faults of the Russian and Chinese political elites that presented a rising danger to the “free and democratic nations” of the world along with a demand that both Russia and China now fall in line with western calls for major changes of governance within them.

As with the most fervent religious zealots of the past where there is no limit to what can be done to those considered to be ‘beyond the pale’ as heretics and apostates. All right is seen on one side only and all evil on the other. In this way, even the most violent and murderous acts can be justified in the eyes of those perpetrating them.

This is the crossroads where humanity now stands. Two divergent paths travel from here toward two entirely different futures. Those futures can only be distantly seen in hazy outlines as yet, however, above one of them, in the not too distant future, hang the ominous shapes of at least two dark mushroom clouds.
