IS THE WEST CUTTING OFF ITS OWN NOSE TO SPITE ITS FACE?

It’s known as cutting off your own nose to spite your face. But Biden and his neocon backers, prompters, handlers and/or puppet-masters don’t seem to give a good goddamn whose “face” gets ruined in the process, even their own.

Perhaps they think it will only be the European face that gets disfigured and that the populations at home will largely escape damage… at least the richest ones who will get protection.

But damage and disfigurement there will be. Whether it was taken into consideration or not when devising every sanction under the sun against the Russian economy we will probably never know. This is one of those many areas NOT covered by the so-often lauded “democratic” systems of the USA and its supposedly excellent oversight.

The hit or rather hits suffered by multiple financial systems by taking Russian banks out of the SWIFT financial messaging service will occur and some of them were predictable. The financial regulators who like to think they are in charge of running a clean ship and who were not consulted before Biden & co. made the decisions are warning that ship could sink.

Russia was meant to go down, not every nation within the EU and not the citizens and their bank accounts of the US of A. But Russia is resolutely NOT going down. The rouble neither.

The rouble dropped yes, quite substantially… but then it began to rise a little. It was expected to go into free fall. It didn’t. And now Russia wants its oil and gas paid in roubles and, according to the latest news it is guaranteeing the value of roubles by backing them with gold.

Just from the measures above you can see that the Russians are looking far smarter that those in the West who in their hysterical spite seek to do their utmost to damage Russia and the lives of Russians. Russians are made of pretty stern stuff however, as anyone who knows something about the siege of Stalingrad by the Nazis during WWII knows well.

Biden can huff and puff before lapsing into a bout of dozing but blow the Russian house down? Nah. Not going to happen. All that is going to happen is that he will suffer increasing paroxysms of impotent fury and ever-rising levels of frustration. I hope he has a well made pillow to beat with his scrawny little fists at night that won’t get torn by his raggedy nails. Maybe a voodoo doll in the shape of Putin to stick pins in?

All will be to no avail however. Russia will blithely continue to meet its goals in Ukraine, rendering that chess piece used and abused by the Americans null and void, a pawn swept right off the chess board.

What if Russia attains every goal sought for in its original plans for the special military operation it is now conducting in Ukraine? What if the daily “victories” of Ukraine were all media mirages and are shown to be so quite clearly and shamefully in the end. What if NATO is then seen as a paper tiger with its tail stuck in a shredder?

What then?

In three or four months when Russia has Ukraine done and dusted and is looking secure both in respect of its borders and its economy. How will things look as the West begins to sink down a rather stinky drain of bankruptcies, resource/energy shortages, factory closures and rising anger on the streets?

No doubt the hysterical fantasies of millions with their blue and yellow faces, masks, shawl-flags, toenails, tattoos and piercings will cause sensitised little darlings to weep and wail, donating their even more meagre savings than ever to Kiev and will think they’ve achieved something. All for what? Nothing.

Myriad hours of nighttime TV will perhaps still be spent bemoaning the fate of the heroic darlings of Ukraine prodding their leaders to start world war three over it and spitting venom at the Russians who will be sitting pretty by that time smiling back over their shoulders at them. What will all the wailing, endless tears, songs, poems and misguided angst have achieved? Precisely nothing.

As Europe sinks, as the USA sinks… as India, South Africa and most of the rest of the world gives a little shrug, Russia will persevere, show that it has a very real sphere of influence and that it can now thumb its nose at the West with impunity.

And what of the West’s own nose? Will it STILL be cutting it off to spite its face over the spurious cause of Ukraine? Its elites are certainly idiotic, ignorant and insane enough to continue doing so I suspect.
