THERE ARE NONE SO BLIND AS THOSE WHO *WILL* NOT SEE: THE STATE OF WESTERN NEWS MEDIA

Can the BBC see reality at all these days?

According to them Russia has a military in Ukraine that is “stalled” and their latest piece of nonsense, unable to maintain dominance in the air.

If these were reflections of reality Russia might indeed have problems. However, they are not reflections of reality and much more akin to fabrications of fantasy.

Indeed, fantasy and wishful thinking along with huge dollops of sycophantic love-bombing of all and sundry in Ukraine including its sadistic extremist factions makes the BBC a pitiful sight when comparing it with its own estimation of itself as a broadcaster of news.

As with almost every mainstream press and media entity across the entire western world they tend to specialise in views rather than news these days. All the views that fit a certain narrative and agenda that is.

Talking heads revolve with the 24 hour news day that has arrived in the West with gogglers goggling at their screens eyes and minds wide open to imbibe whatever those talking heads talk at them.

Pavlov could not have devised a better experimental lab than the western world at this moment. A zombie movie really ought to be created to capture it. The conditioning is incessant and what makes it even more effective is that the brains need no washing, they are completely empty of anything remotely problematic already.

The BBC is doing an exemplary job of being one of the stenographers-in-chief of western governments. I have no doubt CNN and a bevy of others is doing likewise. Who the hell cares if no journalistic principles need apply, “We’re at war buddy!” so that’s A-OK.

It’s ‘all hands to the grinding wheel’ to get all those one-sided wishful thinking articles out the lie factory door as there are always a pack more getting written up soon to be wheeled out to order. Staying in business became a priority for both the BBC and The Guardian after both got a shot across their bows by the British state. The McGilligan affair did for the independent spirit of the BBC and the smashing of Glenn Greenwald’s laptops in the Guardian’s basement did the same for it.

Now we have these two presstitutes obeying orders to change position this way and that to get screwed… and, as we see, they are only too glad to do so.
