WHAT IS THE UKRAINE WAR LEADING TO? WHAT WILL THE FUTURE BRING?

Currently the Russian operation in Ukraine is grinding forward attempting to achieve the goals set for it at the outset.

For the record these were, are and remain:

To ensure that Ukraine poses no future threat to the security of Russia.

I. By bringing the current leadership in Kiev to agree Ukraine will not join NATO but will institutionalise its status as a neutral state and this will be incorporated in its constitution by an act of law. This will have the effect of ensuring Ukraine remains a buffer state between east and west in recognition of the world war that will now continue for at least a decade or more to come.

II. By demilitarizing Ukraine. Ukraine to have a symbolic military force for use at ceremonial occasions, guard duty at the presidential palace etc. but no more. All weaponry of any size to be totally eliminated and none further incorporated into the remaining, entirely symbolic military of Ukraine.

III. By the denazification of Ukraine. This to be brought about by a number of means including the prosecution of all crimes committed by members of extremist groups existent in Ukraine. The banning of all Nazi-inspired insignia, the banning of the various extremist groups and assorted militias and the rigorous elimination of all traces found of their existence without time limit. A public information campaign to communicate the many crimes of these groups and their infamous history of sadistic abuse and political influence in the recent shameful past of Ukraine.

To bring all Ukraine and specifically its elites to the understanding and acceptance that the new republics of the Donbass and Crimea are now entities entirely free of Ukrainian control or influence.

I. Acknowledging in law that Crimea is now and will remain an integral part of the Russian Federation and that no Ukrainian elite whether in government or outside of government will in any way threaten the people of Crimea ever again.

II. Acknowledging the sovereignty of Crimea as an integral part of the Russian Federation, the government of Ukraine offers the hand of friendship in matters of trade, cultural exchange and the common humanity of neighbours in good standing.

III. Acknowledging that all regions that have recently become an integral part of the Russian Federation are now lost to Ukraine and that no future government of Ukraine will attempt to regain them by military force.

These three demands by Russia are vital for a new Ukraine to rise from the dark ashes of the old. This new Ukraine will undoubtedly receive massive funds from all sides to rebuild its territories and to clear the remnants of the past ready for the eventual economic success of the future.

For this to be brought about the present intransigence of the current Ukrainian regime must end and end too must the efforts of the collective west to keep the bloodshed continuing by all the means in its power. This misguided effort can only hurt Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, not help them, and further bar the path that the Nazi-legacy extremists are using everything in their power including committing atrocities on their own fellow citizens.

Russia WILL succeed in its aims. The requirement to do so is utterly existential in scope for Russia and she will not back down. No matter what Russia will see this through to the end… but that end need not be overly bitter. Only the present continuing resistance by Zelensky and the West can make it so.
