ZELENSKY, THE MONTHS AHEAD AND THE END OF THE WAR

The Zelensky regime is nearing its end. As with the ignominious end of all such regimes many features are being mirrored in reference to those of past downfalls. As was the case with the Nazi regime where Hitler and his cohorts sent out wet behind the ears youngsters to face the oncoming Red Army, Zelensky in his desperation does the same, and is sending women to die on the front lines also.

In the capital, Kiev, poisonings, attempted assassinations and intrigues of many kinds are almost a daily occurrence now. Power plays and cliques vie for the chance to unseat the virtual madman who insists on maintaining power and pushing ever more Ukrainians to fight to the death. The parallels with Hitler are obvious. Megalomania is the order of the day with Zelensky insisting he knows best, demanding the Ukrainian army take 500 metres of territory per day when the reality on the ground is of mass Ukrainian deaths and loss of ground.

The latest rumour is that Zelensky has sent the military commander of Ukrainian forces a letter saying he should hand in a letter of resignation and that he has been told by return that he will not and that if Zelensky sacks him he, Zelensky, will bear the consequences. Meanwhile, over one thousand Ukrainian troops died or were seriously injured across the battle lines yesterday alone. The top players argue over who is responsible with Zelensky, who has insisted he overrule his generals at every step, seeking to shift the blame to them.

In Washington the game appears to be up. Republican politicians seem to have had enough of throwing away ever more billions on a lost cause. Even the prospect of enriching their sponsors within the U.S. military industrial complex as usual is failing to entice them to vote more money into the Ukrainian black hole. This bodes very ill indeed for those Ukrainian elites who have enriched themselves immensely due to this money flow over the last near two years. It leaves Zelensky in the most precarious position ever. Failed counteroffensive, increasing Russian gains, ever more deaths of Ukrainian troops, an economy in free fall and now the prospect of the U.S. money tree dying.

The nation of Ukraine is on life support. The USA and EU are paying for everything and have been doing so almost since the conflict began. Every government and military salary is being paid by U.S. and EU taxpayers. This along with the vast flows of money going to U.S. and EU defence industry contractors to build up depleted stocks of armoury and ammunition. Without the billions from enforced largess across North America and Europe the tenuous grip on viability in Ukraine will fail. What awaits then but chaos? And the usual scramble to win power among all those waiting in the wings to profit from such periods.

Zelensky squats atop all this potential mayhem. No amount of self-deluding wishful thinking and increasingly fantastical exhortations to his sponsors that Ukraine will win and they MUST keep supporting him will avail him of anything but the rise of even more scornful responses. He has been living on the fantasies that his elite sponsors have sought to promote about him for their own purposes thus far. But for how much longer? The project to weaken Russia through Ukraine has failed and failed utterly. In fact the effect has been to weaken the West as a whole and in particular Ukraine’s neighbours in Europe.

The situation is dire. We witness daily the absolute scandal of the entire debacle that has been cynically pushed by western elites incessantly for the past 22 months and more, in fact for the past 10 years, since the Kiev coup in 2014. The comeuppance of those responsible approaches closer every day that dawns now. Biden will fall. Sunak will fall. A risible panoply of criminal political elites across Europe will fall with them. It is only a matter of time. The judgement of European and north American populations will be merciless on those who have squandered so much and sent so many young men to their deaths in this failed project.

Will Zelensky be the first of this sorry batch of failures to go? It is very likely. Will he find refuge and security somewhere soon? Quite possibly. Where? Previously perhaps in Israel, but this is much less likely now considering the present situation there. In the USA perhaps? Or in one of the many multi-million franc villas that high-level Ukrainians are purported to have bought in Switzerland? In one of the latter most likely, at least temporarily until some even more secure, secret and less easily identified location is found.

And what of those who remain in Ukraine when this is all over, those who have been forced to accept the totalitarian demands of their so-called democratic politicians? What of them? Reduced to near abject poverty by successive Ukrainian regimes who led them, instructed by others far distant from their borders, into a war that could never be won. Those sponsors of Zelensky who once opined in glowing terms about their nation and leader will now fall suddenly silent. The mass media of sponsors’ nations will find that other topics than Ukraine suddenly interest them far more. The hapless Ukrainians who will now endure seeing the territory taken by Russia thrive. The recriminations will be extreme… but heard only within the vacuum that has become poverty-stricken western Ukraine.

Abandoned universally, except for some few do-gooders within the European Union, west Ukraine will sink far below the interest of most. Many of this now impoverished nation will migrate east to the Russian Federation in all her forms, there to find a new life. Those who stay will find, at best, that mega-corporations of the EU will use them as virtual slave labour, their in-country industries and companies will be taken over, their management and owners replaced by German, French or North American substitutes. West Ukraine at best will be touted as a great place to find cheap labour and increased profits that flow by majority out beyond its borders.

What will happen within the political scene of this new, defeated Ukraine? Most likely the population will seek out those who promise a new and normalised relationship with Russia. The necessity to come to terms with their increasingly rich neighbour will make this process inevitable. The radicals who exhort others to keep up the fight and encourage acts of sabotage and military attacks on Russia and Russians will gradually be given the cold-shoulder out of hard necessity and absolute weariness of war, war and more war. Ukraine will slowly rise over a painfully long period and through many political and social upheavals to, in time, become just another reasonably normal nation and docile trading nation for all those around it.

Russia was always going to achieve her goals. To not to do so was always unthinkable. Her security in perpetuity demanded it. And so it will be. And so will the ignominious disgrace of all those who made that process so unconscionably painful and tragic to a depth not seen since the end of World War Two. When it is all over we will all see and be able to understand everything. Most importantly we will all see the indescribably irresponsible litany of lies delivered incessantly by western media and political elites, about Vladimir Putin, about Russia and about Ukraine. The cleansing of all those lies will take time. A shocked western populace will be loath to believe their leaders could be so untruthful. But the historical record will be plain to see and even the most partisan believer will eventually realise the full magnitude that these deceptions created.

After all is said, all is done and the shouting has finally stopped.., the world will move on and hopefully, before very long, we will have a truly multipolar world where obscenities such as the western-instigated war in Ukraine can never, ever happen again.
