WHY IS IT THAT THE USA & ITS ALLIES CAN COMMIT MASS MURDER WITH IMPUNITY?

The western powers wish us to hold to their construct, the 'International Rules-Based Order' rather than international law as agreed upon and governed by the United Nations. Why might that be?

The West is Best. This is a term rooted in the Cold War years. Most, on hearing this term, would agree. It is not hard to understand why. They had been told this in innumerable ways constantly for decade after decade. So how could discern if this was true or not if they were never exposed to anything other than a constant, almost hourly, stream of negatives? We can easily see this process on a range of issues regarding ‘us and them’ down the decades even before those Cold War Years. And the process has never stopped. It continues to this day.

U.S. political elites are the inheritors of a package of influences which range from the flight of the pilgrims escaping religious persecution in Europe to the concept of America's 'manifest destiny' to transform the world into what is blithely assumed to be its glorious self. Added to this are concepts surrounding idealistic notions of a Manichean universe of simplistic black and white, of good and evil where their god is almighty and commands Americans to do His will. This gives the U.S. elites the notion that they should be able to do whatever they think best across the world and no one should ever complain about it.

Can similarities be found in the viewpoints of the USA’s allies? They certainly can.

Britain in fact superseded the USA in this kind of thinking. Where elite Americans see themselves as exceptional in almost every way, the British equivalents see themselves as inherently superior to everyone else. This attitude stretches back many centuries and covers a number of eras when it was reflected in the policies and actions of successive British Kings, Queens and governments. The slave trade epoch and the colonial era where Britain conceived,  it could good do more or less what it liked with complete impunity.

Then we have the European states who believe they are the most civilised nations of all and conceive themselves to have the right through this to either secretly or openly to look down on all others. They, like the British, held many nations under their colonial rule and even today we see France still trying to cling on in Africa

In addition to the three above, USA, UK and EU, there was the effect of missionary zeal with which the western notion of a ‘proper’ religion, Christianity being brought to all corners of the world who were apparently deficient in holding to other beliefs.

All in all a very clear picture emerges. One of extremely patronising, arrogant and rather racist concepts of an all-encompassing superiority. These concepts continue to fuel western foreign policy to this day. They arrive in western newsrooms daily for broadcast to largely heavily conditioned western populations for whom this, whether at a conscious or subconscious level, is all perfectly normal.

Along with these all-pervading concepts of inherent superiority come the desire of the companies who make up the western military industrial complexes to maximise profits through them. Their lobbyists through their collective influence via political sponsorship and easy access to all decision-making processes of each successive government feed the entire cycle in a process designed to keep the West forever superior and all those regarded as inferior, in their place. Their place of course is as resource pockets required to fuel the West and secondarily, of consumers of the products the West makes using the energy and other resources they derive from them..

The world outside of the USA/UK/EU and their allies (the collective west) pays the price in terms of intermittent death and destruction if they step out of line within the place assigned them in the cycle described above. If they choose to rebel in any way the fragmentation and weakening of these nations and their economies and much else besides will commence until they learn their lesson and get back in line. The ever-present blackmail, threat and warnings of punishment from the USA and its allies. Has in the past, cowed most weaker nations into obedience. This is rapidly changing however.

The simplistic nature of western thought on governing the rest of the world has reduced a great many issues and thus actions to either-or questions of good and evil. The national interests of whatever western nation you care to mention, comes first. Always. The political elites of the USA, Britain and their meek European friends insist upon this when dealing with those outside their orbit. No nation has the right to protect or claim ownership of anything within their own nations if the ‘national interests’ of one of the big three (US/UK/EU) is at stake.

Much of this is underpinned via western mass media by an over-the-shoulder look at what will sell well among the western populations, populations whose long-term media coverage has conditioned them into an extremely simplistic vision of a world that can ALWAYS be reduced to right and wrong, good and bad, virtuous and evil. Within this overall context we find that western audiences are thus conditioned to believe that the U.S. and its allies are always right, and at worst merely mistaken and therefore innocently misguided. No suggestion of malign intent is ever considered or accepted by these states at any time. Only those others, ‘over there’, those inferiors, are capable of such things.

Good remains on those intervening on behalf of those who consider themselves to be the "best" of all nations, constantly protecting their populations from the extremely dubious, if not outrightly bad/evil, eminently untrustworthy ones. Those that need disciplining like unruly schoolchildren. Those requiring manipulating, threatening, cajoling or even subjected to invasion into being “good”.
