FICTION: HOME FROM HOME

We were safe now, that was the main thing that occupied most of our minds.

Down below, and beyond to the skyline, all was confusion, chaos and dread.

We represented the last hope for humankind and we respected the motivation behind this venture, even if some of us doubted its wisdom.

We had wrecked this fine planet we had loved for so long. Like any dysfunctional and unbalanced relationship, all parties to it had suffered some loss, and the greatest loss of all was any remaining hope for life on Earth.

We had collectively despoiled the Earth. Our hunger for more and still more of everything had known no limit. Now, in 2035 that hunger still remained across almost all ten billion of us. The various movements advocating the voluntary embrace of simplicity had appealed only to the few and the reduction in demands of those few had made almost no impact at all. The rest carried on within the channel exquisitely designed for them. The worse things got the more effort was assigned to keeping this majority consuming. Everyone had to live, and living was about ever more having. Wasn’t it?

We had arrived at the base in a heavily guarded convoy. There were plenty of people who ironically would give all they had to join us, by any means at their disposal. And some of them had become hugely rich encouraging others to spend, they could afford to hire a mini-army to stop us if they wished. But arrive safely and without hijackers we did. Transferred through the last cleaning and into our suits we now more or less patiently waited for the loading to end.

Two hundred thousand souls already in hibernation were being shipped aboard. Those who had been designated by an interminably debated controversial algorithm to be those best suited to give the human race the best start possible on Teegarden's Star b. Though confusingly named a star it was now well known to be the most favoured exoplanet for a potential Earth-like level of habitation.

We were Crew A. There would be a series of crews on the long journey to Teegarden. It lay 12 light-years away. It would take us several thousand years to reach our destination with successive crews serving their ten-year stint before awakening the next crew, before assuming hibernation. The greater part of those two hundred thousand now being loaded were in fact future crew members. Not that a crew member had onerous duties, they did not. The onboard director of operations, Maya, was, of course, an A.I. unit, the most sophisticated ever constructed. Constructed of course partially by herself. She would take us to Teegarden. The myriad crews would merely do her bidding when necessary.

The loading would take several days. Meanwhile, we occupied ourselves with interminable checks, many of which were unnecessary as Maya insisted on telling us. Still, we needed something to do other than watch movies while waiting for launch day.

This period gave us all time to think. Discussing things with various members of our tight-knit group I surmised many were not thinking much at all and perhaps even avoiding the activity, finding it more harmful to their psyches than beneficial. Once again, as I had found throughout my life, I appeared to be one of the odd ones out. I was thinking constantly about the momentous event that was about to happen. Ten thousand years of known history was about to be wiped out.

Only one or two of us, the most trusted of all, knew what was about to take place and I was one of those selected to have this knowledge and to keep it utterly secret until the moment chosen. This moment had been chosen by those who considered themselves, by one means or another, by status/achievement to be in a position to decide upon this most crucial of decisions.

I held this knowledge within me and examined all else based upon it.

I watched the loading below and marvelled at the sheen of blinding light as it reflected off each of the thousands of pods slowly making their way toward and through the bay. I thought of all those individuals and their families who would also be watching via their Tri-V units across Planet Earth. What were their thoughts now, their longings and pangs of loss as husbands, wives, sons and daughters, fathers and mothers left them forever?

I knew something of the long trek humankind had made to this moment. From the lost cities of Ur and the Olmec civilization to the ancient Egyptians, Indians and Chinese. Survival had been hard-won all the way until recent times when excess became the keynote feature which had resulted in what we were leaving, a world in increasing crisis where the wars generated by resource psychosis raged.

I knew that just beyond the horizon men and women were dying. I knew also there was no stopping this violent competition to win the last remaining resources that could lay some temporary foundation for what was considered a habitable life. A quarter of nations had steadily become uninhabitable over the last decade and a half. Temperatures had risen to unbearable levels and mass migration (and the resulting interminable wars) had been the result. Humankind was in its last throes of a torment that had been creeping up on it all through the modern, technological age.

The hope of political solutions to the crisis gripping the planet had dissipated then totally disappeared. Things had gone too far, the effects of the unstoppable changes and the desperation of those determined to survive at any cost had come too far to be quelled. No authority was respected to the degree required now. An anarchy was loosed upon the world that could no longer be contained. Every day that dawned another region became infected and no continent was spared the resultant misery as those with power took from those who had none.

My face was grim as I watched on the last day of loading. The final pods were now entering the bay ready to be locked into position. My headset relayed the long countdown which now reached its final hours.

Outside the sun was rapidly setting, a pink glow suffused the western horizon. It was just as beautiful as any sunset since the dawn of time. It was with the same regularity and predictability that our sun, our star, now set. It set upon a world now neither regular, stable nor predictable, a world ungovernable by any universal laws. The heavens may appear unchanging, the stars in their courses and our moon too, still there above, akin to a ghost’s eyeball, implacably watching the torment of humanity below. But though all else appears unchanging we know only one new and desperate path forward now. And one last mission to perform.

As the final acknowledgements and permissions came through on my headset it was time. The countdown reached its end and we began our journey. The Argos was the most massive ship ever manufactured. The level of thrust required to send her skyward was equally massive. Yet rise we did. With a deafening sound and body-quaking reverberation, we climbed into the night.

I now heard several different voices speak to me and the emotion within them they were incapable of disguising. We began to emerge from the traces of Earth’s atmosphere and be released from her gravity pull. Our journey had begun.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, several keys had been turned in secure locks and triggers had been flicked to reveal an array of buttons, all of carmine red. The disembodied voices in my ear wished us well. They came one after another with many accents and dialects among them. Each voice shook with emotion, and tears it was clear were not far away or already running down many cheeks. I acknowledged each sorrowful voice in the same way.

“We will honour you and our common legacy. We will make our future the future you hoped for. Farewell.”

As the last voice trembled to a whispered conclusion I turned my gaze to the aft screen where I sat. The Earth in all its seeming pristine beauty lay before me. It seemed as innocently unified as it had ever looked from out here, the only place such an overview could be achieved.

As I watched the flares began. First in the western world and steadily across all other continents. Steadily the flames of destruction spread to almost unite as one immense furnace of destruction. The decision to end the torment of humanity had been the most difficult decision ever made but ultimately it had been seen that all other outcomes could only prolong the agony of billions.

I switched the screen to black. I couldn’t confront the final moments I knew could only be minutes away.

Our hope lay forward to a new beginning in a new home.

We would remember, but there would be no return to that old scarred Home, now burning as old humanity’s tragic but cleansing, final funeral pyre.

THE CONTINUAL TWISTING OF THE FACTS ON UKRAINE BY THE WEST

The political and media elites of the western world have consistently twisted the facts about what has happened in Ukraine since the winter of 2013-14.

Only one side of the story has been repeatedly communicated, published and broadcast from that time to this by every elite western individual, organisation, broadcaster and publisher.

If all the various factors involved are inspected with any degree of neutrality this fact becomes patently obvious.

In the first place, no consideration at all has been given by these elites to the undemocratic means used to oust the democratically-elected president and government of Ukraine in 2013-14. Because it suited the western powers to do so they supported the violent means used then and have continued to support, even applaud them, ever since.

No western government would have tolerated the scenes witnessed on Kiev’s Maidan Square. The use of arson and violence using every form of improvised weapon possible plus handguns and hunting rifles would have been condemned as insurrection and put down by all the force of the law. The recent acts of a few hundred in Washington forcing their way into the Capitol Building and the condemnation which followed demonstrates this precisely.

From those initial events on Kiev’s Maidan the western political elites in concert with their mainstream media peers have continually dodged the greater reality of events in Ukraine with the cynical motivation to twist all facts to suit one agenda and one agenda alone, the reinforcement of western elite power in that nation.

There has been zero focus from the West on how the people of Crimea and the Donbass in south-east Ukraine viewed the situation in Kiev or how historical events colour the way east and west Ukraine regard the present. Ukraine, being a nation divided down the middle in so many ways, was hardly touched upon by western reporters or politicians. Any graph of Ukraine’s general or presidential elections prior to the events of 2013-14 will show clearly that it was the eastern half of Ukraine that voted for the party represented by those ejected by use of force.

The clear fact that the democratic will of the people of Crimea and southeast Ukraine was being made null and void from that time onward by the non-democratic undermining of the president and government then in power was never granted a mention by western news outlets. A wholly negative view was taken regarding the actions taken in Crimea to resolve the democratic deficit thrust upon them by the events on the Maidan. No attempt to discover or communicate the reasons for the fear of the people of Crimea was made and every line of every published article merely emphasized a negative take, especially so when it came to the appeal of those on Crimea to Russia for help.

That Maidan extremists had ambushed a convoy of buses coming back to Crimea from a demonstration in favour of autonomy for the south-east of Ukraine and the occupants of that convoy were forced to crawl, eat the glass of the broken bus windows and shout “Slava Ukraine!” or be beaten to death, never received a mention.

The entire cry for help by the people of Crimea in the face of such thugs as those who had perpetrated such daily and nightly violence in Kiev was totally ignored. It was ignored in favour of spreading the one-sided narrative that if it had succeeded in its mission would have brought virtual slavery to the people of Crimea under the illegal, coup-government’s heel.

The same agenda was used by western political and media elites when it came to the response of the majority pro-Russian majority in the Donbass. No account was taken of the way the democratic rights of those there were taken from them nor of their natural reaction to this fact. In Donetsk and Lugansk regions of the Donbass a plea for federalisation and autonomy was heard. Government offices and administrative buildings were taken over without the violence seen on Maidan.

If for the West the ultra-violent tactics to bring down a president and government were acceptable then why not the largely non-violent takeover in the south-east. This is exactly what many in the Donbass said at the time. But what was the response of Kiev, backed by the West at that time? It was to send the Ukrainian military to the Donbass to initiate a campaign of violence against those asking for a restoration of their democratic right to continue their pro-Russian culture and continue also to ensure respect for the legacy of the second world war and all they owed to Russia from that time.

No sympathy or understanding was afforded to the majority population in southeast Ukraine. Their reaction was reduced to some form of Russian plot and subsequently was framed as a Russian invasion of Ukraine. So many lies have been told surrounding these facts. No effort whatsoever has been expended by western mainstream media to tell the story from the other side in the conflict in the Donbass since the Spring of 2014. The people there have been abandoned to their fate and cast negatively and pejoratively as ‘separatists’ and ‘rebels’. News articles have been biased wholly in favour of the views expressed by the elites of the Kiev regime and western elites. The Donbass was left as a virtual killing field for west Ukrainian neo-Nazis, mercenaries and illegal militias. This is how cynical the western press, media and politicians have been regarding this conflict.

Hardly any focus is given to the long history of the division seen emphasised so clearly in these years of conflict. No analysis of the forces and loyalties at play can be regarded as at all accurate until the years of World War II in Ukraine are taken into consideration.

The histories of east and west Ukraine during WWII emphasise the divide between them that exists to this day. Battalions of west Ukrainian nationalists were formed within the forces of the Nazis and their delight in killing Russian peasants was well known. Even the sadistic Nazis feared these battalions. Ukrainians of the east by contrast respected their Russian neighbours and intermarriage was common. They considered Russians as brothers and sisters as they do to this day.

The people of the Donbass could countenance their western countrymen and women having their eyes directed westward to the EU with equanimity, but not the tearing down of the democratically elected officials they had helped elect, not the ending of their right to have the cultures and loyalties that meant so much to them on looking east to their close and beloved neighbour, Russia. But none of this was of interest to those reporting or commenting upon the ongoing conflict to resolve the massive divide between either side of Ukraine. The only aspect they were willing to provide commentary upon was that which suited the overall agenda of the western powers who had helped the insurrection along in Kiev.

Now, all these years on from those dark days of winter 2013-14 absolutely nothing has changed. The one-sided story is still being told, all narratives are framed to support and assist the same agenda of western powers. And of course as ever Russia is being portrayed as the villain always waiting in the wings to perpetrate some terrible deed. The determination of western elite entities to portray what is in fact their own aggression as that of Russia simply serves to amplify once again how bare-faced and arrogant they are in their continual, their perpetual twisting of the facts on Ukraine.

CHANGING HORSES - THE EMERGENCE OF A NEW GEOPOLITICAL PARADIGM

Each day now brings with it more evidence that the power of the West to dominate world affairs is ending.

The western elites who form the current array of would-be global geopolitical architects are struggling to maintain their position.

Despite their obvious incompetence and disastrous foreign policy decisions going back many decades now the strength of their economies have kept them in place. This is now rapidly changing.

The rise of China and the reemergence of Russia as a world power is sucking the power from the would-be western dictators who have determined how the world should be run until now.

Economic strength rather than democratically-agreed compliance by affected states has allowed western elites to control our world to this point in time and it is quite obvious that this economic strength is now waning and being eclipsed.

A milieu of unwarranted exceptionalist belief systems have grown over time in the West, resulting in a group-thought mentality within its elites where they believe they can do no wrong and no competitor can do right. The shock of finding out that not only is this mentality being resolutely challenged by Russia and China but effectively so is causing various emotions from disbelief to rage to horror within the ranks of western elites.

This situation is entirely new. Not even the confrontation between the Soviet Union and western powers during the Cold War can parallel the present situation. These two power blocs existed in a somewhat stable relationship with neither appearing likely to overcome the other. Ultimately it was the economic and political instability within the Soviet Union that toppled it rather than the efforts of the West. Though there is a partial parallel in the economic field it still does not amount to a full comparison to the current situation.

If present trends continue we will see a massive shrinkage in the ability of western powers to dictate global events and indeed this shrinkage is likely to be of such an extent that it may disappear entirely, evident only in relation to minor and very local events close to the present great powers of the West.

The change now occurring appears totally unstoppable although western elites have done all they can, and continue to do all they can, to stop it. They have used every covert, overt and dirty trick to hinder the coming global change in influence. They see their interests being overtaken, their ability to manipulate nation-states reduced, their techniques of domination diminished, their arm-twisting abilities atrophied and their influence collapsing. And all this with increasing momentum.

Empires rise and they inevitably fall. The genesis of their decline and collapse can be found in their attitudes of hubris and malign activity that dually make them ever more blind and prone to ever greater mistakes. The mirage of superiority dissipates slowly, kept in place for far too long by self-deceiving myopia. Ultimately their own ignorance, arrogance and willingness to lose all sight of integrity or truly civilized values causes them to topple and fall, never to rise again.

With the collapse of the western domination of world affairs China and Russia will take up the mantle in a wholly different manner. Seeking agreement, not emphasising disagreement will be the order of the day, tolerance of divergent political systems and modes of governance will be the standard approach where common ground is sought, trade and improving the lives of all populations will be core issues in each case and the highest standards of diplomacy and respect for sovereignty will be maintained and emphasised at all times.

We stand at the dawning of a new era, one where war can be consigned to a past that rapidly becomes a dim and unpleasant memory, where the people of the world can unite in common purpose unalloyed by a western elite presence seeking to dominate nations for its own self-interest. The world in short that idealists among us have always sought and longed for. A world at peace, a world of tolerance and prosperity, a world where all can unite as one species determined to do what is right one to another.

THE RIDICULOUS ‘RUSSIA IS ALWAYS WRONG’ MANTRA

It has all the attributes of a theatrical farce except those taking part give every appearance of being deadly serious. To hear them speak, the West is populated by elites who are the noblest of human beings, saintly figures who only want the best for everyone and are selfless to a fault.

This nonsense of course is belied somewhat by their indulgence in mass murder justified by a pack of lies in recent times.

Yet the characters we see and hear espousing on the iniquities of Russia and China can carry on with their sanctimonious verbiage as if they were not party to an elite who ravaged multiple nations a few short years ago.

But Russia that refused to go along with the series of bloody attacks and invasions that left hundreds of thousands dead and a multi-nation trail of devastation and fragmentation generating the rise of ISIS, is somehow the greatest threat to the planet since Nazi Germany?

How could anyone swallow such horse shit? Yet certainly among the upper echelons of political and mainstream media in the West, it appears that such self-serving nonsense is regarded as holy writ.

You won’t find anyone from the street interviewed regarding the geopolitical issues which so-called experts and political leaders of the West pontificate upon. This may provide the only clue you need to resolve the question of why we get an interminable verbal lambasting of “evil Russia” and “saintly West” on western mainstream media. Such talking heads are the result of careful if subtle screening.

As Noam Chomsky wryly pointed out, if they held different views to those they do they would have been weeded out in the first few occasions when they put themselves forward as candidates for the job.

What we are seeing is the insidious bias of an elite privileged class who know which side of their bread is buttered to use that classic colloquial phrase. These are people who know better than to rock the boat. They know what the acceptable narratives are and what are certainly not. In the certainly not category are those which feature job losses or at best ostracisation, demotion, a career standstill and ejection from the cosy peer group they climbed the greasy ladder to join. Who wants that when you have kids to get through Uny and a certain lifestyle to support?

That important, even life and death issues, are at stake, is of vastly lesser importance to such people, if they are of any importance at all. They have long been cynical about all that. They without doubt justify their complete lack of integrity with a few short phrases they keep telling themselves to avoid confronting what prostitutes they are now when they once had some ideals. Their mentalities in this respect will be so opaque that even if you tell them that they are actively putting people’s lives at stake and even risking nuclear war by their distortions they will rage at you in faux offence.

Talk of Putin, Russia, Xi or China to such people and you will see their minds grind into action to convey memes where conspiracies of evil dwell, malign forces plotting, dangerous intentions, plans and tactical deceptions and all manner of untrustworthiness. On the other side of the coin, ask about NATO, U.S. or UK elites, the armies of those nations or EU leadership regarding foreign policy. You will hear only sober assessments of their noble pursuits and qualities as guardians of all that is righteous. And if these canards are repeated endlessly and flow directly into gullible or careless ears what is the result?

In general, the populations of the UK and EU are less gullible and likely to be more sceptical of what they hear on mainstream media or other elite and generally bought sources. However, the population of the USA presents us with a different case entirely. A recent poll found that over 50% of North Americans now favour the USA waging war against both Russia and China. Poor Ukraine, poor Taiwan and poor us, interfered with, invaded and/or under attack by the devils endlessly said to be dangerous devils who want to murder all decent people in their beds.

This is the endpoint of all the cynical and self-serving lies that demonise the target individuals Putin and Xi and the nations they lead. A willingness to engage in nuclear wars leading to millions of deaths and unlimited destruction on all sides. The hate and loathing, the fear and anger whipped up by constant tropes designed to sell product, screen time and political aspiration all lead to a world at war. What kind of individuals are these that can stoop to such levels of group thought and action for the sake of their income, careers or sales statistics?

This is where we find ourselves. On a suicidal slope downward to a post-truth society where only black and white are acknowledged or possible talking points, a totally divided world where reason plays little to no part and ideological and political allegiance hold complete sway. This in those whose eye is only on the pursuit of personal ambition and career path.

Heaven help us if this is taken to its ultimate conclusion because in the absence of truth we are all onboard the same juggernaut to oblivion. And it will certainly not be Russia that took us there.

UKRAINE - WHAT TRAP IS BEING LAID FOR RUSSIA?

Something is afoot. There is a plan behind the West’s game regarding Ukraine. The need to portray Russia in a bad light is urgent, that’s clear.

Provocations are being played out constantly with no attempt to calm the waters, quite the reverse, the West and the regime in Kiev are both ramping up the pressure toward some end. But what could it be?

Like schoolyard bullies, are NATO and the regime in Kiev taunting Russia with the hope that Moscow will lash out… then be hit hard. But hit hard with what? Not military action I’d guess. If not that, then what?

Is the plan to find cover to get Ukraine into NATO by pointing at ‘Russian aggression? But that’s something we’ve heard claimed time after time with not a shred of evidence besides Russia moving its troops within Russia. What could be the additional factor both NATO and the regime are struggling to make its appearance?

If Russia could be taunted enough with a series of heightened attacks by the Ukrainian army and their neo-Nazi inclined militias could it be made to lash out enough to justify Kiev saying they simply MUST join NATO and, crucially, NATO agreeing? NATO could point to the now obvious “Russian aggression” as it will be framed (without of course any mention of the heightened attacks by Ukraine that provoked the Russian response).

The entire course of the NATO progression eastward has caused a Russian response. The coup in Kiev in the winter of 2013-14 could not possibly have given more cause to one. Then the use of the Ukrainian army and its murderous so-called volunteer battalions against a largely civilian population in south-east Ukraine caused even more responses from Russia. The West ramped up the rhetoric against Russia for all these responses (including its reunification with Crimea) all the way from 2014 to now. Russia has attempted until recently to find ways to ameliorate the situation and find some common ground with the West. In recent times, after strengthening its hand, Russia has at last given up this fruitless pursuit.

With Russia in a stronger position and increasingly so are the regime and NATO devoting themselves to one last desperate throw of the dice, seeking to poke the Russian bear into a response it can mercilessly beaten for? Not that the goal will be violence against Russia, more like putting Russia in a cage where its options for movement are much fewer. Such as manoeuvring Ukraine into NATO as described above.

Or, as I have spoken of in a previous piece, will there be an influx of foreign troops into Ukraine and to the front line for a mission to take back Donetsk and Lugansk from pro-Russian control daring Putin to attack and kill NATO, EU, UK and U.S. troops?

Whatever is going on, whatever the reasons behind the ramping up of the rhetoric and pressure, it is certain that they will have been meticulously planned across the array of western agencies and organisations from the various political heads to military chiefs to NATO, the CIA, MI6 and beyond.

No true diplomacy is taking place, nor confidence-building measures. Only the appearance of these to make the coming betrayals even more acutely painful it seems. Russia is dealing with the most devious and Machiavellian players out there and is hopefully fully aware this is the case. The daggers are certainly being held behind many backs currently. The good cop bad cop strategy and a vast array of other dirty tricks are undoubtedly at play.

The goal is clear even if the methodologies to achieve it are not. To get Ukraine within NATO and further corner Russia. And in the process blacken Russia’s name even further than it has already been with patchy effect. The Russiagate scam had seemed to work well at first but many now have seen behind it and recognised the lack of integrity, indeed the scheming and the schemers behind it. I believe the western elites now need a demonstration of force by Russia to point to in vindication of all their recent lies about Russia’s “aggression” and “interference” of the near past.

Whatever is going on it is very certainly aimed at harming Russia in one way or another. Russia has made it very clear that it has no intention of invading Ukraine as is being constantly asserted by the Ukrainian regime and the West in general. Not unless the regime attacks the pro-Russian populations of Donetsk and Lugansk. If this occurs Russia will certainly act to protect them. What Ukraine and NATO need is something to point at more than the hackneyed phrase concerning Russian troops “massing near the border”.

Is this the game being played then, the well known favoured tactic of all those who would wish to provoke a response so that they can use it to their advantage? It fits with all that is known of the underhand tactics of lies and propaganda the West has used in recent years to get their way, in those cases to attack and invade nations with virtual impunity. By constantly goading Russia almost to the level of mockery through insults couched as subtle put-downs as in the recent response by Stoltenberg to Putin’s demand that NATO sign a written pledge not to encroach on Russia’s border to any greater extent, are western powers and regime coaxing Russia to make an attack?

At this moment in time, there is nothing that is being done that would stimulate such a response from Russia. It would take something much more substantial… and violent. But the taunts and goads to this point could well be aimed at priming Russia to the point of total exasperation at the right moment. And at the “right moment” creating an incident that Russia simply cannot ignore and feels compelled to respond to.

THERE IS NOTHING DEMOCRATIC OR OF UNIVERSAL VALUE IN DESTROYING THE WORLD FOR YOUR OWN SELF INTEREST

The elites of the western world tout democracy and claim a God-given right to force certain “values” down the throats of every nation across our planet. What could possibly be democratic about that?

Have the citizens of the countries they represent given them a democratic mandate to do this? They have not.

No election in living memory conducted in the West has been fought on the basis of conducting overt and covert campaigns against other nations.

No westerner ever voted for the illegal attack upon and invasion of Iraq for instance, nor for the carpet bombing of Libya or for any of the many other campaigns that went horribly wrong conducted by their elites.

Not one single vote ever cast in the West gave an unequivocal right to those in power to use torture, to set up black sites, to kidnap and hold people in custody without the right to a trial and to use myriad illegal means to undermine the governance of nations, poisoning the stability and liveability of the people there and in so doing fragment entire regions of the world for generations.

All these pernicious acts were done without the democratic process being involved in the slightest. The “values” proclaimed by western elites concerning justice, freedom, the sanctity of law and the creation of a rules-based international order were each and every one of them negated by their actions. These are not democrats, they are self-seeking, dictatorial demagogues who are using a faux-democratic system to force their dictatorial will over others.

It must surely be obvious to all and sundry by now what the ultimate outcome of this dictatorship posing as democracy will be for the entire world if allowed to continue without let or hindrance, a world gripped by endless war.

The suffering, instability and destruction caused by the elites of the West so far in their dictatorial interventions across Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Ukraine and elsewhere will inevitably be spread ever further and ultimately have the potential to consume the entire world.

Further than having no mandate from their own people to initiate this pogrom of violence across the world they certainly have none from the people of whose nations they interfere in with such devastating consequences.

Lie after lie has been told in the West and by its leaders, faithfully channelled to their populations by a complicit mass media who have sought to create a journalistic fervour to help the murderous process along.

It is high time for some form of democratic will and determination to invoke much more civilised and legal behaviour by their so-called leaders by the people of the western world. Far too little has been done to curb the rabid self-interested “leadership” in the West.

In an apparent numbness caused by a range of factors including rampant materialism and self-interested obsession western populations appear to be almost totally impotent as a force for change as they once were. Their politicians appear to have them exactly where they want them, minds occupied elsewhere, seeking selfish ambition rather than espousing any form of universal benefit to their countrymen or those beyond their borders.

In this atmosphere of universal greed and ambition is it any wonder western populations have the political leadership they now have? Decades of navel-gazing, self-importance and endless personal ambition have destroyed the heart of any sense of a universal democratic idealism. All that is left are self-aggrandising populations of the West and those in its orbit seeking endless self-interest led by equally narrowly focused politicians who cynically claim those populations grant them the right to exploit the rest of their world for their own self-interested ambitions.

These wars are not about democracy. They are not about freedom. They are not about a rules-based international order. They are about western national interests, about fighting to subjugate other nations to western needs, destroying their ability to be free and prosperous and to have their cultures reflect their traditional values.

These wars we have seen were fought by western political elites and caused the destruction of values and demanded the forced imposition of an undemocratic will. They lacked any mandate by anyone in the nations the perpetrators supposedly represented.

“Not in my name!”, was a slogan heard often as a cabal of western political dictatorships poised itself to wreak destruction across the Middle East and beyond. “Do as I say, not as I do!” was its own slogan. The “values” of western democracy and those of the United Nations need not apply.

A de facto prison planet monitored from space, where judgement will be passed on supposed transgressors to their controllers “values” and where democracy is an even greater fraud than now is the ultimate outcome if we do not rise and assert some true democracy in a demand for truly civilized universal values.

Tolerance and unity of purpose are the concepts we need to foster now to survive the threats of disease and climate change we face as a species. The suicidal mania for global control by the West can only destroy any such unity, tolerance and cooperation in a worldwide fire of self-interested ambition totally lacking any democratic mandate.

UKRAINE: ITS RECENT HISTORY, CURRENT REALITY & CONCLUSION

The Ukraine war is reaching a critical stage. Crucial aspects of western narratives are now being questioned. The reality is at last being d...
