WESTERN MAINSTREAM MEDIA, 9/11 & THE GOAL TO WEAKEN & ENSLAVE US

 

The events of 9/11 caused most western political and media entities to shut down and shut up who had previously felt themselves free to criticise the foreign policies of the western powers and their proxies. From the events of 9/11 onward this became universally seen across western mainstream media as bad form. Western politicians and western mainstream media simultaneously fell completely silent regarding all negative aspects of West-generated activity. This code of silence remains to this day and continues, in conjunction with full support of western foreign policy, to condemn all those these policies seek to attack, eliminate and replace.

Before 9/11, as those of us old enough to remember will recall, there were numerous entities within the mainstream who could be relied upon, at least to an extent, to hold western leaders to account. Post 9/11 these, without exception, fell silent on the iniquities involved with western foreign policy and instead dedicated themselves to blindly supporting it. Those that Washington, London or Brussels said were enemies of the West western mainstream media also attacked. The narratives that emerged from western state officials were faithfully echoed by western mainstream media without fail.

Over the years since 9/11 the United Nations, once a forum where fierce criticism of western foreign policy was heard, was also largely silenced, at least in this respect. From the bugging of national representatives’ phones on the eve of resolution votes demanding war against Iraq, the UN has been reduced to a largely quiescent gathering where criticism of western foreign policy decisions is extremely rare and mostly confined to only very few delegates. This was particularly evident during the shelling of the Russian-speaking populations of Donetsk and Lugansk regions of eastern Ukraine from 2014 onward. The UN, despite the daily death toll among young and old in these regions, which eventually totalled over 10,000 souls, was extremely muted.

No one should discount the effect of 9/11 in shutting down discussion of U.S. crimes against humanity perpetrated with claimed impunity through its ‘exceptional’ view of itself as seen via its concept of ‘manifest destiny’ to mould the entire world in its image. 9/11 gave those who had long awaited it the opportunity to flex the military muscles of the USA at will without the need to fear any meaningful criticism from any quarter. The traditional allies of the USA and many who had previously kept a modicum of distance from it, were easily maneuvered into joining the so-called ‘Coalition of the Willing’. The remnants of that coalition remain a strongly influential factor until today even as it begins to fray significantly at the edges.

With the rise of BRICS we see the beginnings of a movement away from the strings that were attached to many nations via 9/11, strings that enabled control of attitudes, viewpoints and certainly statements by nations previously held firmly within the western orbit. The power of those events on 9/11 over those nations who submitted to the ‘Coalition of the Willing’ are steadily weakening. The economic rise of China is a prominent factor in this weakening, as has been the strident voice of Russia against its domination by the USA and its proxies. Vladimir Putin stated this position clearly with no possibility for misunderstanding in his famous Munich speech in February of 2007.

It was 9/11 that put rocket boosters under the concept of a US-dominated world and stimulated those with a mind to in that nation to use all means considered necessary to bring that goal about. This, it was believed, was the only way a possible future 9/11-type event could be prevented with absolute certainty. Only a world dominated by the USA and its proxies, where universal surveillance was achieved, could guarantee the kind of total security that was believed essential post-9/11. These twin goals remain firmly in place and serve in large part to explain the relentless push against Russia using Ukraine as the current weapon of choice. The goal demands that first Russia, then China be subjugated by whatever means are required. Nothing at that point can seriously stand in the way of global surveillance and a system of punishments to keep all potential threats neutralised.

The entire panoply of western mainstream media is totally supportive of the goals above. To achieve these goals a number of strategies are in place, one of them being the weakening of western populations to the point where they will meekly accept all that their states subject them to. This is why the so-called authoritarian regimes of Russia, China, Iran and others are seen as a threat, they vehemently reject the liberal, anything goes milieu that western states have foisted on their populations. They then, by remaining strong, with social strength in depth, represent the primary hope through the maintenance of traditional lifestyles, of those of us who are resisting the so-called ‘woke’ infantilism of the West.

Look for no sign of assistance on the quest to maintain our traditional strengths from western mainstream media, it is fully on board to weaken us all to levels of submission unheard of in times past. It will, while constantly promoting the softening up process of anything goes liberalism, pour western state narratives regarding geopolitical “foes” into hearts and minds. Without exception those “enemies” are those who hold fast to traditional, well-tested and strong lifestyles that are in fact their only hope of survival against a western world determined to subjugate them. We must stay strong to survive. We must resist the temptation to be seduced by the limp-wristed wokism of the West. And above all to completely abandon any linkage remaining to the poison of western mainstream media.

BBC, CNN & THOSE LIKE THEM: STATE MOUTHPIECES, STENOGRAPHERS & PROPAGANDISTS

 

Most people still rely on mainstream news sources regarding issues of a geopolitical nature, this despite recent times where it became clear the information consumed strayed very far from actuality.

I wonder if those in the higher echelons of the BBC, CNN and others have an inkling, through the comments to their online videos and articles, of how they are ruining any remaining reputation for impartiality they retain regarding news of a geopolitical nature?

Ever more people are looking deeper into the true genesis of the conflict in Ukraine and see precisely and very clearly that the BBC, CNN and their ilk are merely a mouthpiece for western state officialdom.

The BBC make claim after claim to be impartial. This claim is very obviously wrong on its face when its coverage is compared to reality in cases where western state interests are concerned. You need only look at the coverage of events in Ukraine from 2014 onward to see this at its most starkly obvious.

CNN don’t rise to the level of blatant deception on this score. No claim is made by them to be impartial and their coverage can be said to be somewhat more straightforwardly biased.

Other mainstream news outlets across the West are a mix of the two approaches by those above:

An absence of claims of impartiality while inferring truth-telling (where in most cases where the content consists of opinion-spreading; opinions reflecting western state-promulgated narratives).

In effect, all western mainstream broadcasters claiming to deliver news services, either maintain cultural blindness, actively censor or self-censor to produce a service that cannot help but semi-deceive rather than enlighten. And this is putting things at their mildest.

At worst we see an active intent to deceive, to mould the mind of every listener, reader or viewer, into the required mentality seen as most useful to whatever western state they may live in.

As Chomsky has pointed out, those who have obtained employment at the highest levels of these mainstream news/media organisations are there solely because they survived the filtering process to weed out those who would report in a different way. Those who pass the test arrive within an elite environment where connections to other elite environments such as those of the political sphere are encouraged, nurtured and are indeed inevitable. Thus we receive all the “news” that fits. The mould that this “news” fits within can then be clearly seen to have a very certain inevitability to it.

“News” that emerges from environments where state pressure, or the pressure of required income from advertising, cannot help but be tainted by numerous pressures to conform to certain requirements. It will ALWAYS be tainted due to this and at times where ‘national interests’ of western nations are at stake the “news” received from this source becomes almost totally one-sided in favour of those western states who are most directly involved and very certainly and universally against those who western states are opposing.

Finding untainted news that closely reflects reality can only be achieved after a diligent, long-term search across non-mainstream sources. These sources may be in book form or via the internet after once again, careful and diligent research into who may be a trusted reporter of actuality rather than a source paid to spread misinformation. The search involved requires to be thorough, matching statements made to the historical record until, over time, a level of trust for certain individuals and groups is built. Only in this way can we feel we are being accurately informed. Not that gullibility or prejudice based on our own personal convictions should generate particular enthusiasm in this context. Maintaining a keen eye for actuality rather than wishful-thinking modes of operation is vital. In any event, the mainstream “news” environment ought to be avoided at all costs and in all cases as it operates essentially and extremely insidiously as an arm of the state in times of war.

THE WEST & UKRAINE: DOUBLING DOWN TOWARD ARMAGEDDON

It must be clear to everyone by now that we live on a planet heading toward global catastrophe. What possible factors are driving western political/media classes irresponsibly toward such an outcome?

There appears to be no limit to the degree to which western leaders will risk the lives of every man, woman and child on the planet for the sake of their ambitions in Ukraine. 

At each escalatory step forward the chances of a nuclear conflict with Russia increase, yet this prospect does not appear to influence the thinking of western leaders in any way. Thus we stand on a precipice unparalleled since the height of the Cold War where at least some diplomacy mitigated the risk. In these dark times all efforts regarding diplomacy have been long abandoned by the western powers. This derogation of political duties puts every one of us at risk.

War and ever more war is the answer to all those who call for peace through negotiations. As the puppet of the western powers Zelensky obeys the command to avoid negotiations with Russia at all costs, even to the extent of having a law passed banning them. We have never before been on such a steep slope to catastrophe as we are now. Madness reigns across the entire panoply of the western political superstructure. Group thought has replaced all semblance of rationality within a war mode mentality that drives each western leader to forego any perception of reality, totally blinded as they are by dogma.

The delivery of statements making a bad situation even worse arrive daily through the creation of ever more divisive soundbytes that make dialogue between the sides ever more unlikely. Accusations against those they regard as ‘the enemy’, are constantly made in the hope of maintaining the support of their populations while making the possibility of a resolution to the war they are waging impossible. This mindless drive forward cannot but lead to the day when the cumulative anger and misunderstanding, along with the hatred developed through ever-increased losses brings about the final showdown threatening extinction of the entire human race.

What could have caused the heedless irresponsibility now displayed by virtually every western leader? What possible factors could generate such an abandonment of responsibility? Is there some desperate method to all this madness? Surely the genesis of the insanity being displayed across the West is of such a degree that there can only be a few candidates to explain it. They must be in plain sight, no? How could they remain hidden considering the obviously unlimited degree to which a “solution” is being sought. What might these factors be?

1. The Fall of the West & Rise of the East

We can see quite clearly from the many statements and indeed policies of western leaders in recent decades that a primary concern for them is the economic rise of nations not bound within their orbit of control. Some of these nations have been, until recently, subject to successful manipulation by the West, others have successfully avoided such manipulation. The trend is clear, toward independence from western influence and control and toward the building of regional power centres that can successfully resist the power the West has previously enjoyed. Quite clearly the desire of the West to maintain its dominance over such states could provide a powerful motivation to interfere with this process.

2. The Continuing After-Effects of 9/11

9/11 and the western reaction to the events of that day relate directly to the concerns in 1. above. 9/11 was a massive blow to the power, prestige and seeming invulnerability of the West in general. It broke the myth of supremacy, of unquestioned power and therefore too, of the wielding of unrivalled influence maintained by the West during living memory. The events of that day showed that the great power the USA and its allies wielded had been successfully challenged by the use of violence, the use of which the USA and its allies had successfully wielded against those it itself sought to overthrow. The response to 9/11 by western leaders, to reassert their dominance and manipulative control once again also provides a powerful and continuing motivation for its actions now.

3. The Need of the West Powers to Establish Permanent Control through Surveillance

Again related to 1. And 2. above, this factor represents a powerful motivating force driving current events. In the days after 9/11 the response determined upon was quite clear. a) To eliminate all entities who could possibly present a future 9/11-type threat. We have seen the regime change operations that were part of this goal from Afghanistan to Iraq to Libya and Syria with quite obvious plans for others such as Iran. We can safely add a number of others and most certainly Russia and China. On accomplishing the goal of eliminating and replacing all of these a universal surveillance system is intended to insure no future breakout from a West-controlled enclosed system designed to sustain western control, dominance and global hegemony for all time to come.

These three factors in combination have the required level of importance to western political elites and their compliant mass media to explain the relentless and apparently limitless push forward we see occurring now. Will the madness now being generated constantly by the West finally be recognised for what it is, braindead irresponsibility fed by a degree of hubris, ambition, mindlessness and irresponsibility previously unknown in even the darkest times of the recent past? Or will the leadership of the West plough on ever more mindlessly to the final days of us all, unheeding of the vast dangers they usher us toward? Knowing the stakes and the potential outcome due to all factors involved we must all surely choose which side of the divide to stand on, that of a multipolar world where power is shared and in balance, or toward a prison planet where all power is held by one region of the world alone. And all the while cognisant that the struggle now ongoing could very well mean the end of us all.

RIGHT IS ON THE SIDE OF THE RUSSIANS

Casting aside lurid headlines asserting the guilt of Vladimir Putin & Russians in general what are the true factors surrounding the conflict in Ukraine that has now cost hundreds of thousands of lives.

The mentality that Russia is fighting is well known to humanity. It is the most intrinsically evil mentality historically encountered down the ages, one that was reemphasised in relatively recent times. Its characteristics are of extreme intolerance for those conceived of as ‘the other’. Its basis is the most extreme form of nationalism possible where that ‘other’ cannot be tolerated but must be either utterly destroyed or delivered by other means out of sight of those holding these views.

Ultranationalism was last seen in its most grotesque and extreme form in Germany in the mid-Thirties where it grew to proportions surely familiar with every adult reading this commentary. For those with this mentality at that time the ‘other’ were seen as sub-human, undeserving of life and an intolerable presence to be eliminated. This mentality, wherein no trace of compassion or empathy for ‘the other’ is to be found, represents an unlimitedly lethal threat which finds its outlet in killing and other acts of inhumanity toward those seen as comprising ‘the enemy’. For those with such a mentality no difference is accorded to those conceived of as outside their sphere of ‘rightness’ irrespective of age or condition, be they infant, elderly, infirm or incapacitated. 

Where such an extreme form of nationalism raises its head a cult-like following inevitably arises where others join who are attracted to the certainties and seeming dynamism of those most imbued with the extremism that fuels their utterly simplistic world view. Otherwise aimless individuals feel themselves bonded within an essentially black and white universe where they are the good and all others are evil, where they know the truth, have all honour and are imbued with utmost dignity and have an almost God-inspired cause of vital importance. Where these conditions exist a movement is born that at its core has the essential element of racial intolerance at its heart. 

In the case of the Nazis all who thought other than they or who did not have the necessary racial credentials or who failed to live up to their self-promoted ideal status were candidates for elimination without an iota of sympathetic reaction toward them. All such movements throughout history had such motivations and fixed mindsets fuelling them. In all such cases those who felt entitled to judge others saw themselves as ‘exceptional’ and ‘superior’ and thus justified in ‘dealing with’ the ‘others’ whose presence they could not tolerate. We know such people as displaying the following ‘isms’, ‘Nationalism’, ‘Nazism’ and ‘Fascism’. All share extreme intolerance for ‘the other’, for the perceived ‘weak’, ‘sub-human’, for those seen as ‘racially and ethnically deficient’, those to be expelled as ‘rejects’ whose presence is intolerable.

In the case of western Ukraine we can see the extreme form of ultra-nationalistic mentality described above in its most fervent form. There, due to circumstances during the second world war involving the Nazi occupation of Ukraine and the support given them by the ultranationalist leaders of that time, an ethos mirroring the Nazi mentality arose. It is this mentality that is at the root of the animosity which was the genesis of the raging conflict seen in Ukraine now. It was this mentality that saw its chance in the Maidan protest of 2013-14 to forward its dreams of racial and national purity. Those of eastern Ukraine who spoke Russian rather than Ukrainian were the obvious target for those whose selective history included the Nazis as benefactors of a racially and ethnically pure Ukraine. It was those they named ‘Moskals’, the Russian-speakers who, since the Maidan insurrection/coup of 2013-14, were relentlessly targeted for elimination and ethnic cleansing through a distinctly genocidal mindset.

The ultranationalist movement in western Ukraine violently attached itself to the West-sponsored and supported insurrection which brought down the democratically-elected president and government in Ukraine in 2013-14. It was this selfsame movement who, through the Socialist National Party, renamed Svoboda, gained power in decisive government positions after the Maidan insurrection/coup. It was also this ultranationalist movement with its fervent support base imbued with a vast and abiding hatred of all Russian-speakers who were called upon to take a crucial military role in taking back the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine when it rose up in response to the elimination of democratic process through the Maidan. The Ukrainian army had proven somewhat unwilling to kill fellow Ukrainians. Those with the most extreme of ultranationalist convictions however had no such qualms.

Thus, with all of the above in mind, it can clearly seen that Russia, having lost some 25 million of its population due to the advent of the Nazis in the Thirties and the mounting of the Nazi ‘Operation Barbarossa’ to invade and occupy Russia, could not possibly do otherwise than oppose the rise of a similar movement in western Ukraine, a movement solidly backed by those in the West who saw themselves similarly ‘exceptional’ and ‘superior’. The crisis that arose, partly due to the leadership of the West seeing an opportunity to spread western liberalism further east and certainly due to its incorporation of the ultranationalist mentality described above, was inevitable.

Russia had no choice but to defend those in eastern Ukraine who were so intimately and traditionally Russian in speech, historical/cultural history and with interwoven familial bonds. To leave them to their fate as they came under the shellfire of a Ukrainian army infested with the tens of thousands of ultranationalists desiring the genocide of all Russian-speakers, was unthinkable. Unthinkable also was a Ukraine with an undemocratic, totally western-influenced and directed leadership, inimical toward Russia, determined to gain NATO membership. However, despite all of these factors the Russian leadership sought a peaceful solution of these factors through dialogue with the parties concerned. This seven year process resulted in the Minsk Accords which, if carried through to completion would have meant all regions of Ukraine remaining within Ukrainian agreed borders but with the Russian-speaking majority in the Donbass having a high-degree of federalised autonomy guaranteeing its future security including language rights.

The Minsk Accords proved to have been undertaken by the Ukrainian authorities, in league with their western sponsors, as a sham process only, never with the view to establishing anything approaching peace and reconciliation. This has been admitted in recent times by notably the first president of Ukraine after the events of Maidan, Petro Poroshenko and the German chancellor of the time, Angela Merkel. The aim from their side was, as they have admitted, merely to strengthen Ukraine militarily, never to implement the agreements within the Minsk Accords. It should be clear to anyone reading this therefore that it was not Russia that sought war in Ukraine but rather those that found the Minsk Accords useful only to prepare for what they clearly saw as an inevitable war. All Russia’s attempts to resolve matters, including an appeal for a new security architecture for Europe to be agreed fell on deaf ears. A related appeal to NATO to resolve all differences suffered no better.

Despite the continued attempts to label Russia as the aggressor within the context of the Ukraine conflict and across even wider fields in a process of universal demonisation it is to be hoped that through this commentary and further research into the history of the conflict in Ukraine you will now easily discern that quite clearly that it was not Russia that initiated present  events but rather those imbued with a mindset of total intolerance toward Russia.

THERE ARE TWO MUTUALLY INCOMPATIBLE PATHS FORWARD FROM HERE

The situation we are now in could hardly be either more dangerous or momentous. Events currently taking place lead in two mutually exclusive directions and the stakes could not possibly be higher.

In a desperate effort to avoid the imminent loss of their long held power over our world western political elites have decided on the worst of two possible options.

The option decided upon by the leaders of the West was to fight, without limit, any further diminishing of their power with every weapon available to them. These weapons included not only their military power but also the power they could wield through the spheres of global politics, finance, economics, intelligence networks and media. No quarter was to be given in their war being fought to preserve their remaining power and through that power their ability to manipulate events, agendas, narratives and most important of all, leaders and populations of nations far from their borders.

The option rejected by western political elites was to accept the reality of their becoming part of a world where power was broadly shared and where there was therefore a balance of power that would gradually mean no one nation or group of nations could dominate all others.

The historical record of western powers led them to believe that they were the inheritors, generation to generation, of a title providing them with an almost God-given responsibility to be world warders, an entitled class whose duty it was to maintain order. Over the generations which oversaw the various manifestations of this entitled view, through slavery, through colonisation, missionary work (in the colonies) and in recent years through the Cold War, intelligence agency activity and ultimately through regime change, the attitude of superiority and of being exceptional with (an obvious to them) ‘manifest destiny’ to mould the world in their image.

The belief in their superior and exceptional status has quite clearly become a completely fixed notion in the minds of the majority of western political elites and it is this belief which has resulted in deciding upon option one rather than option two above. This decision, in most likely taken majorly due to an emotional, knee jerk response rather than through rational thought to any degree is now having its effect, an effect that has the potential to bring about the greatest global catastrophe to date.

The Last World War - The End Game War.

The interminable pushing forward of an unquestionable belief in western superiority and exceptional status where all else is deemed inferior requiring elimination and replacement is bringing us all inexorably nearer to a final world war, the end game war. This war will decide once and for all the shape of our common humanity on the planet for all generations to come. This is why it is imbued with such determined emotional responses on both sides. If the western political elites win this war they will not only maintain their present power, they will expand it to the point where it can never be challenged again.

If however, those nations which have been rising economically in recent decades and who do not wish to be dominated by western nations any longer win out we will most certainly see, with the diminishing of western power, a balance of power globally emerging, commonly called the multipolar world. Currently we see this conflict being waged across the field of conflict using the weapons western elites chose to fight it with but with an primarily emphasis on the political and economic. Only in Ukraine does Russia fight using its military in response to the West’s use of the Ukrainian military to wage its war having been left with no other viable option but to do this having lost its near decade attempt to resolve things peacefully.

Thus we have two paths forward, paths that only the global elites will ultimately determine. One leads to a prison planet of surveillance where the western political elites have overcome all major opposition and work ceaselessly to monitor all potential sources of individual and group resistance that follows. Surveillance, judgement, containment and punishment would be the primary ways to deliver “freedom”, “democracy” and “human rights” where these terms would become meaningless and in fact obvious by their absence. The other path, if the rising powers win out would see a world broadly run based on cooperation rather than containment, trade agreements rather than the use of military aggression, power sharing and tolerance of diverse governmental systems rather than power hoarding and intolerance for non-western modes of governance.

Those of us who look on in hope or trepidation look on, virtually powerless in the face of the momentous events now occurring which will decide which of these paths the world now takes.

THE WEST’S “SOLUTION” FOR UKRAINE WILL ULTIMATELY BE TOTAL SILENCE

The time is coming when the West's defeat in Ukraine will be undeniable. If past experience is any guide the solution to avoiding maximum backlash will be a resolute and abiding silence.

The only factors keeping the now minimal support for the illegal Ukrainian regime going can be found in the increasingly demented desire of Joe Biden to win reelection and the state of denial in the European Union regarding its obvious and imminent defeat.

Every so-called gamechanger weapon has been delivered to the Kiev regime along with billions of taxpayer’s hard-earned dollars and euros, all to no avail. The writing on the wall of the regime’s defeat has been evident ever since the failure of western sanctions against Russia failed and instead acted to boost its economy instead.

That economically powerful nations such as China and India backed Russia through massively increased trade along with long-prepared Russian solutions against western attacks and the ability of Russian entrepreneurs to take over leaving western concerns sealed the fate of both the Ukrainians and the western plans in tandem.

Russia, replete with increased income flows via partnerships with friendly nations, overcame all obstacles set in front of it in fine style. With the backup of an ever-rising economy and the certainty of continued backing by economic allies Russia steadily increased the capacity of both its military forces and its military supplies. 

Over the last two years the Russian army has gained invaluable experience in modern warfare and the tactics best suited to it. The innovations resulting in Russia’s currently unbeatable hypersonic range of missiles plus the development of a new range of weapons to ramp up ever more success on the Ukrainian battlefield, some of which (much more powerful drones) come onstream in mid-summer.

The Ukrainian army, having suffered an overwhelming defeat during its plan to push an offensive through Russian lines failed even to reach them and is now being pushed back city after city, town after town and village after village. With approximately 1,400 Russian volunteers per day having joined the Russian military for over a year now and having been fully trained, these additional troops are steadily entering the theatre of conflict and having their effect. By comparison and in contrast, the Ukrainian army, having lost around 100,000 in its failed recent offensive, is increasingly composed of forced conscripts, the very young, the old and convicts who receive almost no training at all.

The Ukrainian economy is a shadow of what it once was. Billions per month from its western sponsors are the only resource base paying for almost everything including all salaries now. If this source of finance ends the entire edifice of the Ukrainian state collapses. The future for both the Ukrainian people and the budgets of both Europe and the USA appear bleak indeed with the continuing burden of Ukraine stretching on for at least a decade ahead and most likely for the indefinite future thereafter.

So what’s to be done?

Currently the western powers continue to close their eyes to all of the above, place their hands over their ears and simply plough on regardless. The political speeches and media puff pieces to support the Ukrainian regime carry on regardless. Biden huffs and puffs, railing at an increasingly obstinate political class who want their scarce resources to prop up an increasingly problematic American economy (34 trillion in debt) and shore up a leaking southern border. In Europe more and more nations are taking a line where they resist adding to the death toll in Ukraine through the supply of weapons to its corrupt elite. These processes cannot help but become ever more severe over time as the Russian forces press forward due to all the advantages of resource capacity at their disposal.

Biden desperately wants to win his reelection in November. Various European leaders, despite their falling poll ratings due to the boomerang effect of the Russian sanctions on their populations can see no better course than to simply press on in the hope of some miracle. Trump, in America will win the presidency once again, there appears to be no doubt at all on that score now. In Europe the current desperation of politicians such as Macron is evident in the madcap idea to use NATO troops in Ukraine against Russia. Macron of course is receiving massive pushback against him from other NATO nations along with its leadership. It seems clear that we are now at the very last stages of the West’s attempt to succeed in their misbegotten Ukraine project.

So what are we likely to see from here onward?

As with Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Libya we are almost certainly likely to find a deafening silence begin to emerge on the subject of Ukraine. After a period of name-calling and blame-assertion where both the western and Ukrainian regimes lay claim to having been misled, let down and variously shafted by the other we will find Ukraine being assigned to the same memory hole as the others. Western political elites will quietly shun the neocons who were so enthusiastic about their seemingly cunning plan to bring Russia down via Ukraine (Nuland has already offered her resignation). Attention will be turned to China across the board. We will see both western politicians and media increasingly talk of the Chinese threat and the importance of countering it. Containing China will be the new emphasis with every possible assertion of evil directed toward it. Ukraine, left to its own devices and with no option but to do so, will accept Russian terms, much harder than those proposed by Russia in the early months of the conflict.

Hundreds of thousands will have died in vain. The proposal that Ukraine be a neutral state, a buffer between Russia and the NATO nations, an agreement seeking peace and reconciliation, scuppered by Joe Biden and Boris Johnson in the name of the collective west, will be acknowledged by academia as the point when the West revealed its true purpose was not to save Ukraine but to bring down Russia. The populations of the West will hardly hear a thing about this however, once all the excuses are made on all sides for the Ukraine Project have been made, all news of Ukraine will disappear from every newspaper and news channel as it disappears from the lips of every western politician. A blunder of vast proportions that every western resource has been used to minimise the effect of by keeping the essential facts of it hidden will silently, insidiously and inevitably reduce western capacities and cause the failure also of the new war planned against China.

UKRAINE: THE LEADERS OF THE COLLECTIVE WEST WILL NOW TWIST & TURN IN VAIN

The notion to undermine Russia using Ukraine as a tool has a long heritage stretching back to at least the 2008 NATO Bucharest summit where Ukraine along with Georgia were given the green light to join NATO at some unspecified date.

The full support given to the Ukrainian insurrectionists on Kiev's Maidan Square in the winter of 2013/14 by all western leaders resulted in a coup which brought the West's most favoured Ukrainian politicians to power.

The eastern half of Ukraine, consisting primarily of Russian-speaking Ukrainians and ethnic Russians saw their democratic rights removed and revolted in turn against the US/CIA-controlled president and government.

The coup government responded to the non-violent revolt of the Russian-speaking majority in eastern Ukraine by sending the Ukrainian military to quell all resistance and restore "normality". Thus the present conflict began and began in the early months of 2014. From the moment the Ukrainian military arrived in eastern Ukraine until Russia's special military operation on the 24th of February 2022 approximately 15,000 civilians died, the vast majority killed by the attacking Ukrainian military.

It is now just over two years since Russia acted to bring the ongoing conflict between successive Ukrainian regimes and the Russian-speaking majority in eastern Ukraine to an end. Slowly Russia has dismantled the complex defence system built since 2014 designed to maintain a permanent siege against the Russian-speaking majority in eastern Ukraine.

In recent weeks Russia has instigated a series of attacks against Ukrainian positions which are slowly but surely eliminating the ability of the Ukrainian military to shell the civilian population of Donetsk city. As of writing this task is ongoing with Ukrainian-held towns and villages near Donetsk city being eliminated, often in several locations over each 24 hour period.

The above significant successes by the Russian military can no longer be ignored in the West as can be seen by a flurry of articles in the mainstream media there and also by panic measures such as the hastily called meeting of European leaders by President Macron of France. This will undoubtedly be the start of an ever-increasing number of such meetings, both public and private as the situation grows ever more dire.

The immediate future cannot but reflect the now obvious reality on the ground in Ukraine. Russia is stronger now than at the start of its ‘special military operation’, economically, financially, militarily and in terms of the powerful allies that have stuck with Russia throughout this crisis and who now clamour to join the BRICS group in which Russia is a founding member.

The level of anxiety within western circles is growing by the day as the reality in Ukraine becomes unavoidable and all the political and media public relations and totally one-sided coverage is increasingly seen through.

No amount of political twisting and turning will work any longer. The western political elites and their mainstream media support group are facing total humiliation across any number of issues. They face a crisis of enormous proportions that is coming at them like a tidal wave. Every day now will bring Russia’s ultimate victory closer and those who tried to undermine Russia through Ukraine nearer to their political demise.

Ukraine will be left an economic basket case through this tragic miscalculation by the West. It has been estimated within Ukraine that something above 10% of the population are now disabled. Ukraine’s economy is in ruins and will require billions in support monthly by its western controllers each month for decades to come.

This was a conflict that should never have happened. Russia tried for seven whole years to convince the Ukrainians and their western supporters to take the path to peace and reconciliation that was agreed in Minsk and became known as the Minsk Accords. Successive Ukrainian presidents along with figures such as Germany’s Merkel and France’s Hollande were never serious about taking the path to peace but instead used these years to build up the Ukrainian military and its network of siege armaments against the Russian-speakers. Now we see how their plans have totally and utterly failed. The end result will be a catastrophic collapse across the western elite superstructure with many of the leaders who fomented war suffering total humiliation… no matter how they twist and turn in their tawdry and impotent attempts to avoid it.
