THE CUTTHROAT GEOPOLITICS OF THE WAR BEING WAGED BY THE WEST

The war that is being waged now by the West has an outrageous premise behind it: that only western value systems are valid and that all others must be either dismantled or destroyed before being replaced.

There is no end date to this war and no possibility of it being ended before successful completion.

Diplomacy will only function in any shape or form if a crisis interferes with a longer timetable for some destabilising tactic that still requires additional steps before it can be actioned. Otherwise, there will be no true diplomacy as this would only delay the planned destructive effect of planned events.

All possible means to hinder, weaken, undermine, subvert, confuse and destroy positive developments within or by Russia and China will be exploited to the full across all possible vulnerable areas, including but not limited to finance, trade, military, politics and sport.

This is a war to the death and the West is determined that all systems of governance contrary to those of the West MUST be eliminated. This goal is an absolute necessity for all western elites across the board from industry to media to politics and all points between. There is to be no let-up in the building of pressure to make target systems crack and fall, no matter what the consequences may be for collateral damage. No ethical or moral rules are to be applied at any stage. The target systems are to be considered fair game to be brought down by every means available.

The determination to collapse all systems of governance not corresponding to western needs that are also not allied to the West is extremely urgent for western elites. The rise of China has long been identified as the primary danger for the primary goal as stated above. The subversion and replacement of the Russian political system is of importance, but of secondary concern. China is the primary target as its economic power and growing influence present the greatest threat to achieving the primary goal. Smaller and less powerful nations will be targeted wherever and whenever possible by teams assigned this task.

It is difficult to communicate the audacity of this project as the mind tends to reject the entire premise. We are minded to believe that we exist in a different world where such things are impossible. We receive clear signals from western elites on a daily basis that the goal is as described however.

The telegraphing of western intent cannot be understood in any other way.

Take a look at the evidence:

In recent times we have heard talk of certain terms repeated endlessly from political and media elites across the West.

‘Western Liberal Values’

‘A rules-based international order’

Number one is claimed as the epitome of good conduct and civilised conduct.

Number two is claimed as the overarching system that should regulate global conduct.

Both of the above are claimed to be solely held and upheld by the West.

The claim being made is that all nations not having the first attribute nor upholding the second are invalid.

Why is this important?

It provides the spurious justification for western powers to override the sovereignty of nations due to their judgement that they do not fulfil the criteria they have invented for what they consider to be valid states deserving of national sovereignty. This makes such states fair game for the overthrow of whatever “invalid” leadership they may have. And by any possible means.

This form of reasoning is of course entirely spurious and in fact is not the TRUE basis for their regime-change ambitions. We can see this clearly by the past behaviour of the western powers.

Nations such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Kuwait fulfil neither of the two criteria above. Yet they remain free from western attack due to their alliance and general subservience to the western powers. THESE are in fact the critical aspects required of nations, obedience to the strictures emerging from a continuing western hegemony, not the two purported elements named above.

The western powers, at this juncture in human history, have concluded that they must eliminate all forms of governance not demonstrating adherence to their requirements. This is especially urgent in respect of those who are fast-rising now in terms of economic power, China and Russia and who clearly have an alternative vision for themselves to that of the West.

This is why we have the distinct lack of diplomacy now, the obvious belligerence on the part of the West and the obvious forward movement toward ever more aggression, ultimatums, NATO expansion, sanctions, western demands, propaganda and war by all possible means.

This is the era we have arrived in and are suffering through. While everyday western citizens have modest desires to benefit their lives and that of their families their elites are pursuing an entirely different goal, one that could potentially fatally affect the lives of all of us.

These are the cutthroat geopolitics of the war being waged by the West.

USA: THE HUMILIATION OF A ONCE GREAT NATION

A tiny minority of Americans is currently letting the American people down and damaging a previous record that glowed with many wonderful achievements.

By choosing an irresponsible, aggressive and destructive path regarding international relations they appear willing to take the United States of America down toward the ruin of its complete humiliation.

This minority of political elites have a mentality which reflects the highly competitive nature of American life but has none of the tolerant charm that a great many Americans also personify. They exist in an elite stratosphere of American life and appear to have assumed the mantle of warrior kings ready to destroy others neither good grace nor integrity.

This tiny minority, clearly locked within the orbit of past struggles appears unready or unwilling to confront any reality outside of their fixed concepts of kill or be killed scenarios where nuance is all but forbidden. They are targeting powers that are rising now which mean no direct harm to them or to the American people, but who, through the dark filter of their own aggressive mindset they see as their mortal enemies.

Creating false threats as phantasms before their peering eyes they conceive that a life and death struggle is underway and that all means possible, fair or foul must be used against those they perceive almost as evil incarnate. It is the use of these means which runs the greatest and almost inevitable risk of reducing the name of the USA to a global pariah state, scorned by all who see the handiwork of these few.

There is no noble stature to be found for the USA in the use of the dirtiest possible tricks in this unnecessary war they are waging. No plaudits will come its way when the underhand and at times murderous methods its elites use, come to light, exposed in the broad light of the historical day. When every unethical, immoral and irresponsible device has been used and has been found to fail, when every lie told has been exposed, and a final ignominy is arrived at, what will be left of the so often hugely creative, heroic and glorious accomplishments that used to personify the accomplishments of America?

The world is changing. Other powers are rising to eclipse the achievements and global reach of the USA. These powers are not aggressive in nature and seek only to build their economies to the benefit of their people. They have diverse forms of governance, different traditions, cultures and mores from those of the USA and many of its western allies, but this should not mean they are to be seen as a threat to be destroyed.

Yet, the geopolitical scene we can all view today reveals an American political elite in a war where no holds are barred and where the goal is to strike down any others who could possibly rival their power and influence. The result of these attacks on nations perceived as weaker than the United States yet at the same time potential future threats to its power and influence is a demeaning of America and its reputation.

The reality is that it did not have to be this way. The nations the minority of elites in America is attacking were attempting to build their economies as best they could and presented no military danger to the USA. These consist of many nations but the primary two are of course China and Russia. Another way was possible, a peaceful way. On this path a mutually respectful mode of communication, cooperation and coordination was open to be engaged in together, agreements made, understandings come to, and diverse benefits shared between all nations to the benefit of all mankind.

But no, the mentality at work in the highest offices of the American nation rejected the path offered and chose to focus on ways to weaken and if possible destroy the rising nations who were offering the hand of partnership and possible friendship. There lies the first step toward the ultimate humiliation that a land priding itself on doing ‘the right thing’ took, or rather a tiny minority of its elites took before spreading its lies concerning why they took this path.

In the end, when the final curtain comes down it will be globally known that these few men and women, these few Americans, put the entire world at risk… and for what? For the narrow self-interest of the United States of America.

At the point when all is revealed, a once-great nation will be exposed as totally politically corrupt, its reputation will be tarnished forever and its population, along with its political elites will suffer complete humiliation.

TAKING ‘X’ OUT OF THE EQUATION IN UKRAINE

I was never very good at mathematics at school, I’d be the first to admit this. But I do know it is an exact discipline and that if you want to get a good answer from an equation you need to work with all elements involved.

I am sure even mathematical geniuses keep to the basic rule that if there is an ‘ingredient’ symbol in an equation it is there because it forms an integral part of the calculation reflecting an aspect of reality that if left out you will provide a wrong answer, at least partly, and most likely VERY wrong indeed.

Why am I bringing this up?

I do so because to listen to western politicians and media commentators on Ukraine or indeed on most geopolitical events where western national interests are involved you get an almost completely one-sided view and a distinctly skewed image of what lies behind such events. Leaving out the other half of any story means obviously provides only a partial picture and this will inevitably lead to mistakes/injustices along with an inability on the part of any observer to factor in all consequences including most vitally when seeking some resolution to any conflict.

Take the example of what happened in south-eastern Ukraine in the Spring of 2014.

To gain a FULL picture, any observer, analyst, planner or negotiator would have to embrace all the possible underlying causes and scrupulously avoid overlaying these with those scenarios which suit only THEIR side best.

If we look at the events which took place in south-eastern Ukraine in the Spring of 2014 there are certain events that must be taken into consideration when trying to grasp the entire picture of what went on and why.

The Maidan protests/riots/coup, however anyone might wish to describe them, had just occurred. A new government had been installed in Kiev replacing the one elected by a majority of Ukrainian voters, most of whom happened to live in the eastern half of Ukraine. The new government put in place with the help of the EU and USA was almost entirely inimical to the interests of those in eastern Ukraine and in fact appeared minded to punish and ostracise them. By denying them the right to speak their native Russian along with sending the clear message that their vital interests would never again be represented in Kiev the response that then takes place becomes understandable.

Were the pro-Russian majority in the east meant to sit on their hands accepting that henceforth they were excluded from any meaningful future democratic process or rights, the right to their own language, culture and loyalties and much else that they had grown up with and held dear?

In this situation as described above, was there any discussion heard from any western politician in power or mainstream news source on these subjects, or on the possibility that they might just have had something to do with the uprising in that region of Ukraine known as the Donbass? I would bet no one reading this heard any such thing from any in-power political source or mass media outlet at that time or since. For the entire course of the last eight long years no such discussion has taken place and only an extremely partial and self-justifying narrative has been heard by western elites on the situation in Ukraine.

In addition to the above, was it explained at any point that the vast majority of the eighteen thousand or so fatalities that took place during those eight years, were civilians killed as a result of mortar and missile attacks on the cities, towns and villages of the Donbass by those besieging them, i.e. the Ukrainian army and the extremist militias? They arrived to take out the ‘Moskals’ they hated as much as they hated all those they considered Russians. No one listening to reports or analyses concerning the murderous events in Ukraine heard anything regarding this from any western mainstream source.

What has been repeated and endlessly heard in the West was that Russia was attacking Ukraine in unprovoked fashion for no reason other than self-interested ambition of some kind, certainly not out of a desire to protect those it considered fellow Russians. Little to nothing was heard concerning the fact that Ukraine is a nation almost perfectly divided down the middle with one side constantly looking west while the other looked east.

These elements of the equation were all omitted to suit the needs of the western powers both within the EU and the USA. Western sources insisted that it was all very simple. Russia had attacked and invaded Ukraine where for unknown and probably extremely wrong, bad, unjust, inexplicable and outrageously illegal reasons a band of ‘separatists’ had taken power.

The equation from western elites was simple. Russia and the separatists were bad, had evil intentions and were acting in vile and cruel fashion against poor Ukraine. The message was clear, Russia was a big bad bully whose behaviour must be severely punished and that the entire western world must now unite against it and drive the Russians out and then all would be well.

In essence, they insisted on promoting a simplistic 1+1=2 calculation when in reality it was reality was reflected in something comparable to <x+y-z/2xN>.

We now have the latest trope on Ukraine concerning the Russian military “massing” on the Ukrainian border and how a Russian invasion is in the offing. The fact of the Ukrainian military had just previously trained alongside NATO troops in war games, had recently received new arms shipments from the USA and Turkey and had moved most of their troops and equipment up to the front line threatening the Russian-speaking population of the Donbass was almost universally omitted in the West. These facts, once again left out of the equation gave an entirely misleading picture. This gave the impression that Russian troops had simply marched up to the Ukrainian border for no good reason except out of an aggressive desire to invade were threatening poor Ukraine.

This works well if all you wish to do is manipulate your home populations and generate a conditioned hatred toward, and fear of, Russians… but the consequences for any hope of resolving the situation when you insist on only half the story being the whole truth are reduced to near zero. Such a purposefully misleading and myopic approach has been in evidence for the entirety of the past eight years while people have continued to die throughout. Refusing to see the whole picture means you make yourself at least half-blind. And, if on top of this you tell yourself tall tales to convince yourself, your colleagues and the general public that you are 100% right, your handle on the truth falls well below even the level of 50%.

Regarding the Donbass, things have come to a head in recent months. Russia has become terminally frustrated with the non-implementation of the autonomy for the Donbass that was agreed in Minsk in 2015 and has become fearful of an imminent attempt by Kiev to mount a military attack on the pro-Russian communities there.

The authorities in Ukraine have uniformly refused to implement the agreement they signed up to in Minsk. To exacerbate the situation none of the political leaders of the West have been willing to insist Kiev make good on its promises. They only demand continually that Russia do something more, a Russia that has no true role in a situation that is in truth an internal matter for the Ukrainians to resolve among themselves. Russia certainly stands guard to make sure no one who is a Russian speaker with a Russian passport is harmed in the Donbass but the Minsk Agreement is essentially between the Kiev authorities and those with leadership in the breakaway Donbass republics. However, Kiev refuses to speak to them, this also being a requirement in the agreement it signed up to.

Russia is always and ever portrayed as the bad guy, along with those other ‘bad guys’ in the Donbass. Just bad guys doing bad things with nothing else to say and nothing more to it than that, with no other possible less despicable motivations to be taken into consideration.

These examples and many more which could be cited in relation to the war western elites are waging against Russia, surely reveal an absence of any willingness to come to terms with any comprehensive reality in a genuine effort to resolve the underlying problems and true causes that are fuelling this ongoing crisis.

Equations with half the symbols taken out are being used. No good result is likely. This is no recipe for any kind of breakthrough. Not at all. The practice strictly adhered to by the western powers is instead a recipe for geopolitical blindness, miscalculation, misunderstanding and ultimately… a blind walking forward to some inevitable further, and greater, disaster.

WE HAVE A WORLD WAR ON OUR HANDS… WITH DIPLOMACY AS GOOD AS DEAD

We are approaching the end game regarding the obvious western push to enable the dismantling of both the Russian and Chinese governments.

From the West, there will be no withdrawal from what is a set-in-stone commitment. That commitment, surely obvious to all by now is to take down the leadership infrastructure of both states and replace them with those that mirror those seen in the West.

The western elites are using every means to pressure both governments with a view to making them crack at some point allowing forces from below to dismantle them. The build-up of pressure against both Russia and China is quite obvious as is the goal. Of course, this goal will never be stated in any explicit terms but you would have to be blind, dumb and unable to read braille not to recognise it with the greatest of ease.

A number of issues have been used as battering rams to effect some weakening of Russian and Chinese positions along with a relentless avoidance of true diplomacy. Betrayal and lies, propaganda and conditioning at home along with a group-thought regime among the administrative classes has brought uniformity of approach among liberal and media circles.

The three main battering ram issues are easy to spot:

1. Human Rights (Always an effective weapon with no comebacks in the western sphere.)

2. Democracy (As Che told Fiden on their first meeting this is the way to prize open target systems and the reason why Cuba needs to avoid it.)

3. Freedom (The lure is usually greed rather than any idealistic concept. Free to be more corrupt. Free to exploit others with greater impunity.)

Using the three emotion-generating factors above western elites believe they can shake up societies they wish to get under their control. Using insiders who have succumbed to their greed they can instigate subversion and create activism in a continual stream of efforts to destabilise the fabric of any nations they target. Think the Contras in Nicaragua, the wannabe quisling Juan Guaidó in Venezuela and innumerable other western interferences within successive nations, many of them in Latin America, they have interfered in.

The western political elites will have factored in the resistance of the leadership pf both China and Russia to what is patently clear to them, the constant ramping up of pressure in an effort to undermine the stability within their nations and make them vulnerable from an attack from below.

The western powers intend to use any responses to this incremental build-up of pressure to their advantage.

Poking the bear and the panda will they believe:

1. Create a certain degree of friction and destabilization within their administrative structures

and

2. Create responses that will give the impression needed that they present a danger to the West.

They have the immensely powerful backing of western mass media behind them that will do their best to condition western populations, moulding their opinions to keep them onside. The liberal elites who control almost every necessary conduit to conditioning both the public and the administrative superstructure of the West will of course also lend their powerful hands to this exercise also.

The goal of unrelenting pressure with its attendant complete lack of true diplomacy is to create a win-win scenario for the West and its primary military weapon, NATO, on the road to a total undermining of the economic and political base for these nations.

The West is in decline. Its elites cannot abide the notion that an alternative geopolitical paradigm to its own will rise and eclipse it. The western political elites are willing to envisage the total destruction of the entire planet before they will allow this to happen. They simply cannot countenance losing their long-held ability to control events, manage narratives, set agendas and dominate all non-aligned nations by making them subservient to their will and economic needs.

China is moving into what they consider to be THEIR markets, either current or desired, and the increase in political clout and influence that comes with this seemingly unstoppable trend and the subsequent economic muscle derived from it by China drives them to their present policy of unmitigated aggression. This policy cannot be changed as to do means the elites of the West would be throwing up their hands in surrender. Instead, they have chosen to fight… and to fight in as dirty a way as they see fit, with no holds barred, no options unconsidered and all possibilities and potential weapons very much on the table.

WHO ARE THE BRAIN POLICE?

 

Is the western world now a continent-sized village of the damned?

I’d like to reference what will be to perhaps many, two arcane or even possibly unknown U.S. media creations. The first is a song by Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention from their first album ‘Freak Out!’, ‘Who Are The Brain Police?’ and the cult movie, ‘Village of the Damned’.

For those unfamiliar with one or the other of these creations here are two manifestations of the thoughts behind this commentary:

First is the above-mentioned ‘Who Are The Brain Police?’ written by Frank Zappa. It’s not so much the lyrics that are important here but rather the baleful sound that introduces the song along with of course the title itself.

As to the second item named, a poster for the film advertises it with the following, "Beware the stare that will paralyze the will of the world" along with a youthful male face staring out at the viewer. This conveys part of the general concept I wish to explore.

We are told that the western world is the free world and that it is only other nations where you must watch what you say for fear of some Big Brother entity finding fault with you and acting to shut you down. But how true is it these days that the West is the bastion of free speech?

A British poll has just revealed that some 57% of Brits are somewhat afraid to express their opinions freely in case they get into trouble of some kind and not only with the authorities but with their friends and families too.

And if you are a celebrity or public figure of some kind and say something that is measured on some new scale to be judged as wrong then watch out, you are likely to be sent to Coventry as the old British phrase used to call it. Not only will no one speak to you, but you are also likely to find that you have been abandoned by the entire rank and file of people you used to consider colleagues and/or friends.

Say something ‘out of turn’ and you can be hauled before the court of a certain panel of adjudicators who now wield immense power and who can break you with no right of reply. Once you have been found guilty of having an unacceptable opinion that’s it, you’re out and to listen to you and your feeble excuses, justifications and anything else you might say would be against their principles which include talking to… whatever epithet they designate you with.

Frank Zappa wrote ‘Who Are The Brain Police?’ in an entirely different time period from now, the mid-Sixties. ‘The Village of the Damned’ came out around the same time. It’s pure coincidence that they both occurred at a time when the USA was just about to go through an era where the boundaries of what you could say, be and do were about to be explored to their fullest. So what happened? How did we arrive at the fearful state that now exists in the western world around what can be said and what will be shunned?

In the Sixties, old realities were being questioned like never before. New ways of life were being sought and sometimes found. One of the favourite sayings of the time was, ‘Tell It Like It Is’. How did we get from there to ‘Watch What You Say’, for fear of losing your credibility, status, job, friends and family?

It seems to me a generation has arisen in the West that is singularly rigid in its way of thinking, quite obviously lacking humour in certain circumstances and also sunk deep into an alternate reality where adherence to the principle of freedom of speech is subordinated far, far below the demand that everyone hold certain truths to be self-evident… and “truths” far removed from those contained within the Declaration of Independence of the United States.

It is almost as if a new declaration has been written for a continent-sized village of the damned which if not obeyed will receive the frozen and career-freezing stare of unrelenting punishment from which there is no release. The ultimate irony perhaps is that many who assert the right to condemn others for untoward free speech count themselves to be liberals. Anything less liberal is hard to imagine.

The land of the free, existing as claimed in the free world appears to have its own version of street spies, ready and willing to report anyone, including their parents to the brain police, their peers, the mass of like-minded souls who stand tight-lipped, ready and waiting, only lacking their black Gestapo uniforms and editions of Mao’s ‘Little Red Book’.

Other nations look at these developments in the USA and now increasingly in the UK and draw back in justified fear and disbelief. They see grown adults running in fear of losing their livelihoods ny getting shut down and cancelled by a generation of totalitarian teenagers and twenty-somethings helped along by adults of a “liberal” persuasion who you might expect to know better.

What’s the agenda here? Well clearly it’s conformity. And a rigid conformity at that, a conformity to newly-created rules that get set in stone never to be disobeyed except at potential pain of death of all associations you hold dear.

Perhaps it is just as well that Frank Zappa didn’t live to see what was apparently his worst nightmare come true in living and just-about-still-breathing daylight.

As for the inhabitants of the continent-wide village of the damned, we are still being told almost on a daily basis that it has the greatest, best, most exceptional systems ever seen or likely to be seen and the rest of us must conform to its ways or be converted, by force if necessary. And that may well be an integral part of this whole horrorshow. The rest of the world, free at the moment, MUST conform to the demands made upon it by the West. Or suffer the consequences.
