WESTERN NEWS MEDIA | BUYING INTO BUTCHERY

Having watched their states recently lay waste to the Middle East butchering hundreds of thousands, fracturing nations and giving rise to ISIS with a shrug, western mass media now points a hypocritical finger at the two primary nations who refused to agree to their crimes, Russia and China.

There is now no semblance of journalism let alone investigative journalism across western mass media news broadcasters. Their task is to channel the regime change memes approved of by their politicians, corporate sponsors and neoconservative heroes.

Mainstream news media in the West has never been so bound to the agendas set by the elites of their nations as now. The way they bray about supposed foes has become so extremely obvious in recent years. The way they portray Julian Assange if they mention him at all is a prime indicator. He exposed the crimes of western elites and their armies in pursuit of self-interested goals of maintaining patrician dominance in the pursuit of global hegemony and full spectrum dominance.

The facade of respectability relies on the constant reiteration in diverse forms of the meme of a just and resolute innocence. And by and large this works. Even after the mass slaughtering of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria and the continuing mass slaughter in Yemen populations in the West by majority seem oblivious to the iniquity of these elites. It is as if there is an amnesia pandemic which has existed from 9/11 till now. The past is around one day long and the items of greatest interest are the wrongs Russia, China and their allies have supposedly perpetrated during the last 24 hours.

This western world is a world of innumerable Pavlov’s Dogs who react automatically to stimulus provided by their politicians, media and “humanitarian” carers... they bark to “get something done”, exactly the response required. What is today’s stimulus to get that Pavlovian emotional response? Will it be ‘The Uighurs’? Perhaps ‘Hong Kong’? Tibet? ‘Russian interference’? 'Chinese malware’? What?

It will certainly not be the crimes of the West in any shape or form. These are written out of history and so erased from all western elite minds. “What crimes?”, they will ask. Mistakes? Possibly. Crimes? Certainly not.

And so the mass amnesia regarding western crimes and the illusion of western innocence goes on... presaging ever more of the same.

And western mass media news is the prime instrument to keep that amnesia and illusion in place. Day after day. Evening news bulletin after bulletin. Talking head fest after taking head fest... sinking that message into every skull that permits its entry. We are good. Your elites are good. Our system is the best. You are fortunate, free and privileged. Those over there are bad. Their elites are bad. Their people are unlucky, imprisoned and denied all. Therefore you can trust us. We will destroy them for you. And all the brainwashed Pavlovian puppies nod in agreement.

They are ALSO buying into butchery... along with the media viewscasters they so implicitly trust.
