THE DEATH RATTLE OF CAPITALISM

Covid has infected the body of all major capitalist nations stimulating a haphazard immune reaction.

The control centers in these nations are overloaded by erratic signals generating an impotent adrenaline response.

Concurrently the blood flow of income reduces and the outflow of green energy migrate toward an ever-increasing weakness.

The edifice of capitalism stands or falls on growth. When it fails to grow it begins to die. Now it moves inexorably toward its waiting death bed. Its present fits of panic herald the death throes to come as terminal forces of disease increase within it.

Without needed fuel via taxes it weakens. By hugely draining its treasury & requiring expensive blood transfusions it becomes steadily more anemic.

Its entire body is affected with areas of it growing white where life is retreating as regions increasingly shut down. Paralysis is emerging as a major threat and with it the danger of fits of emotion that could further damage its life chances. The descent to an interconnected vicious cycle of ever-increasing and highly damaging pathogens feeding on one another is assured as long as internal collapse continues.

The brain is malfunctioning. The body is no longer receiving appropriate signals telling it how to react to attack. Each part of the diseased body is assuming control using diverse “solutions” to the mysterious and insidious attacks they cannot comprehend or adequately defend against. Panic is rising while no calming voice assuages its rise. Overreaction due to ignorance only makes the situation worse. The disease is too deeply embedded and too widely distributed for any obvious cure. Isolation creates its own pathogens, myriad areas of insidious harm breed secondary and tertiary afflictions within already fast weakening and failing systems.

Increasingly lacking the sustenance to feed its extremities the system begins to fail from its periphery inward. The most vulnerable elements with no access to easily available energy resources steadily become violently uncontrollable radicals tearing into the societal tissue that surrounds them.

The inner core where blood flows are greatest survive. These are at the heart of previously pulsing energy locked within their elite resource havens.

Meanwhile the skeletal matrix of society steadily decays at its edges, anemia setting in as resource flows fail, excess adrenaline generated creates a destructive dynamic unrelated to survival except on a completely individuated level. Human cells war with each other for personal continuance in the face of panic-led urgency. Messaging from central functions goes largely unheard, unnoticed within the maelstrom of violently flaring emotions.

The organism begins to eat itself, one element tearing at others, feeding at random on any relatively energy-rich source. Increasingly these sources cannot renew themselves, turn black and die.
Cohesion fails, anarchy erupts, a chain reaction feeding frenzy begins.

Signals from the control center are drowned out in the ensuing cacophony and ultimately cease as the final descent begins.

As the final hours approach a whimpering is heard from all sides. Terminal collapse is felt to be imminent and all struggle against it ceases.

It is then an eerie sound rises throughout what is left of the terminally diseased body lying now fully horizontal on its death bed.

The inglorious sound of ultimate defeat and imminent morbidity, the now cowed and frightened wail of baleful recognition of its own utter failure born in its infancy, deep in its heart. At last, within the sudden silence that ensues comes the inevitable, final tableau.

Pathetic and defeated by its own contradictions and failure to respond to the final challenge to its inherent weakness, comes the ignominious end for this chronically diseased system destined from its inception to fail. We hear it at last, the ultimate death knell... the choked, self-inflicted, death rattle of capitalism.
