THE CONSTANT U.S. STATE OF WAR

The national security state of the USA is vast. It is composed of thousands of highly educated specialists and administrators, every one of them on sky-high salaries with career ladders stretching to the stars.

Their jobs ALL depend on the U.S. having enemies.

Enemies are not hard to find as the USA has been at war for at least one hundred years in one way or another. You can create a lot of enemies in that time.

Of course no one among the thousands working for the U.S. national security state will ever admit that the enemies are useful and that without them they would lose their jobs. It will be an open secret among them of course, but to admit it in public is to be black balled and ejected from this close fraternity of liars.

I’m afraid yes, this is what we must call them. Or frauds perhaps.

It is one huge cabal of liars and frauds who make victims of others for pay. Millions of others.

And it follows also that millions must die. So that already fat specialist cats can get even fatter, their kids can go to the best schools and universities to become just like them and their entire families can enjoy the good life.

Nice set up, isn’t it? Only of course it isn’t... it’s the most foul, callous and cynical thing you could ever imagine.

Take a look at the trauma, the sheer hell that various nations have been put through. The dead children, an estimated half a million who died due to sanctions even before the first war on Iraq... for example.

Look at Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria. Look at the tens of thousands of deaths in Venezuela estimated to have been a direct result of U.S. sanctions on that country. Look at the coups and assassinations from Guatemala to El Salvador to Iran to those attempted in Cuba and elsewhere all down the years.

The cruelty is enormous. The complicity in mass murder unconscionable. The cynicism total.

Was there some actual reason to perpetrate all the interventions, interference and invasions? Possibly. But mostly they were perpetrated due to U.S. national and corporate interests, either in Latin America or across various nations in the Middle East. Is it any wonder that North America is known as ‘The Great Satan’ in Iran for instance? A CIA coup removed its democratically-elected president Mosaddegh and replaced him with The Shah who then ruled using his murderous CIA-trained secret police breeding an entirely appropriate hatred of the USA.

The intelligence agencies within the national security machine of the USA feed lies to their agents within mainstream media and they write the stories that talk of ‘unidentified sources’ or mention no sources, simply writing opinion pieces full of speculation and accusation about the enemies that are current.

It’s a dirty game. About the dirtiest game imaginable. And all with minimal scrutiny. Certainly within the U.S. government and little more among the now complicit staffs of the primary mass media channels who are fully on board regarding the chosen enemies of the moment.

The liberal classes of the USA are now also fully on board plus the entirety of the Democratic Party, now deep within the national security war machine.

And you know exactly where all this is heading... just at the moment when humanity needs most to pull together in order to face the major existential threats coming down the pike at us... it is heading to where we are now, deeper and deeper into the forever war. This is the war these cosseted elites, these hawks and warmongers, these intel wonks and geopolitical specialists also need forever... war and the threat of war. Enemies everywhere suits them just fine.

It’s the ultimate in irresponsibility. It’s the constant U.S. State of War.
