THE U.S. POLITICAL PRIORITY : WAR

The chart below shows the overwhelming priority of successive U.S. administrations with the Trump administration being no different.

It reveals to why the USA is in such a mess.

Trump increased the “Defense” budget of the USA by $738 billion in the most recent increase adding to a budget already greater than the next fifty nations combined by more than $200 billion.

This expenditure is not only for weaponry, it also includes all the enormous costs of maintaining a thousand and more bases, great and small across the world and the cost of waging and maintaining all its regime change wars.

Waging war has become the priority of successive administrations since 9/11 and even before then this priority was already by far the highest. Since 9/11 the drone operation has been added and now the Space Corp.

Add in the expansion of the NSA, the CIA and all other intelligence entities and you begin to see just how ubiquitous the militaristic and surveillance paranoia is within the U.S. elites.

While infrastructure within the USA continues to be outdated and falling into disrepair totally useless items in respect of direct benefit to the American people are funded to the hilt and well beyond, pay rates stagnate and major cities see a continual rise in discontent.

Demagogues such as Trump can be expected in future years as this situation is continued. His attempts to bring jobs back from overseas has largely failed and any small success he has had will inevitably be reversed over time. Those who occupy the boardrooms of large corporations will always look at the bottom line before all else and if they can save on their highest cost of all, workers wages, they will do so. They can achieve massive savings by moving offshore and they will do so as soon as this once again becomes kosher and risk-free to do so.

As jobs disappear from the normal economy, through Covid-19 and the benefits to be found by corporations in going online through A.I. the same movement will be seen within the U.S. military. The move toward drones began this trend as using troops and invasion became far too expensive. This trend will continue with the use of robotic devices and A.I. on the battlefield, a battlefield with only a single aggressor, a single predator raining fire from an insurmountable position of strength or from far above.

Waging war is the priority of American politicians. Trump simply had alternative methods to his predecessors. With Biden America will return to its previous tradition with a new Cold War, what I call an Ice Cold War. I call it this in differentiation to the earlier war, between the West and the Soviet Union where there continued to be dialogue between the two sides despite their fundamental disagreements. In the Ice Cold War the USA will seek no dialogue, it will only issue demands and threats. The world will be permanently divided in two with no, or extremely little contact between them, they will evolve separately building their own societies according to their own priorities.

Biden has said he may increase U.S. “Defense” spending. This is almost certainly going to be the case. The spending on its imperial forces and weaponry will certainly increase under Biden as he has stated clearly that U.S. aggression against Russia, China and all others such as Venezuela, Cuba and others will continue (and no doubt be increased to ever greater levels).

The old neocon guard from the presidency of George W. Bush are even now being ushered into the war room where the Ice Cold War to permanently divide our world in two will be effected should Biden win tomorrow.

The USA will take no significant turn for the better after tomorrow’s result is known. Whoever wins the priority of the elites of the USA will remain the same, build the industry of war, increase its power and enrich all concerned in so doing while putting the rest of the world at ever greater risk while dividing it irrevocably in two.
