WHERE’S THE PROPAGANDA?

The entire western world is supposed to be swimming in Russian propaganda. It should be everywhere you look. In every newspaper you read. On every TV program you watch.

But who can describe it? Who can say they’ve seen it? Has anyone seen it even once? Anyone?

I wish I could find just one item that I could identify as Russian propaganda.

What do those who keep claiming it’s everywhere mean by “Russian propaganda”?

Is it simply someone saying something positive about Russia or Vladimir Putin?

Is this how low the bar goes on propaganda these days?

I really would like to know.

Does this text constitute “Russian propaganda”? Even for asking this question? If so that’s a neat illusion to pull... a perfect trap. When almost anything, even simply voicing an opinion is propaganda, then you can make an entire class of people into virtual criminals, perhaps even traitors if you want to.

In George Orwell’s ‘1984‘ the Thought Police patrolled the population of Oceania seeking humans thinking unacceptable thoughts. Is that the next step in the USA and UK?

Are unacceptable thoughts and opinions cause to get you cancelled in the West now?

If so, is this not a step beyond mere propaganda into the realms of a police state, a dystopian, totalitarian state where its informants point out those not adhering to required narratives?

Alarm bells ought to be ringing about now.

Militarized Police. Mass Surveillance. Jailing of Whistleblowers. Bought Corporate Media.Opinion Compulsion. Cancel Culture.

I would argue there is a MASSIVE amount of propaganda that permeates almost every aspect of western life. But it’s not Russian.

The Nazis controlled the environment where information flowed across Germany in much the same way western mass media now packages its flow to conform to the requirement of western state officials.

When was the last time you saw a major criticism in print or on screen where the regime change war crimes of western nations or the torture extraditions were criticized to any depth?

When was the last time you read an article or watched a program that gave the other side of the story regarding Syria, Russia, Venezuela, or Iran and how repeatedly did you find yourself reading or hearing something that could have come straight from the state?

Westerners live within a propaganda soup replenished every hour of the day and night. They are fed misinformation, disinformation. lies and propaganda as a constant backdrop to their lives. ‘The Mushroom Syndrome’ is evident across every square centimeter of the USA and UK: ‘Kept In The Dark And Fed A Load Of Shit’.

So, where’s the propaganda?

Propaganda of the Russian type? It's notable by its absence.

But the western stuff?

Just look around you... It's everywhere.
