One of the most repeated quotes on the internet today is by Albert Einstein.
It perfectly sums up the USA today:
“The definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over again expecting different results.”
On the day the USA imposes yet more sanctions on Russia for unverified claims of cyber-attacks Einstein’s definition of insanity holds true over an entire range of U.S. behavior.
Surely there can’t possibly be another nation that exceeds the USA for repeated errors of judgement and acts of idiocy.
Lessons are never learned in that benighted nations with leaders as dumb as fence posts.
Its behavior brings to mind yet another quote by Einstein:
“The only mistake in life is the lesson not learned.”
And from Edmund Burke:
“Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.”
You might have thought that the elite establishment in Washington might have learned from their abject defeat in Vietnam. Over fifty thousand young Americans died fighting in a nation that had never laid a finger on America. Many of them were forced to fight, kill and die there.
It seems no lessons whatsoever were learned, or handed down to their successors.
Time and time again U.S. political leaders make the same mistake and conjure from thin air their false justifications and all the fake narratives deemed necessary to support them.
The interference by the USA in the affairs of other nations near and fear is a litany of boneheaded arrogance mixed with an utterly flawed concept of their own superiority and an insane notion that it is guided by God.
In 1953 they decided to initiate a CIA coup to unseat the democratically elected Prime Minister in Iran and install the Shah. The eventual result: A present day Iran that despises the very name of the aggressor nation that hypocritically spouts lies about wishing to spread democracy.
The USA desires to spread its influence, hard power and ability to exploit the rest of the world. Anyone who thinks it is interested in spreading democracy in the Middle East should look into its support for Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the many other dictatorships in the region.
The litany of U.S. interventions across Latin America is well known. A blood-soaked history of coups, assassinations and their proxies of choice, terrorists and death squads.
In the Middle East in recent times there is hardly any need to list its crimes. Afghanistan (Twenty years of war.), Iraq, Libya Syria and Yemen.
The insanity of believing you can get a different result if you just keep repeating the same formula is seen time and time again with predictable results.
In Ukraine, Victoria Nuland, Geoff Pyatt and John McLean stood among the rioters on Kiev’s Maidan exhorting them to bring down the legally, democratically-elected president and government of the country. How does that square with wishing to strengthen democracy as claimed by Nuland to justify the $5,000,000 spent by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) on Ukraine?
The elites of the western world fixed on Russia some decade and a half ago as a primary target for destabilization. They have more recently added the most important target of all, China. With the addition of China we have the greatest folly of all, the instigation of an Ice Cold War (as I call it), a revisiting of the Cold War but without any semblance of the dialogue and diplomacy seen back then.
The elites of the USA backed by their compliant puppets in the UK and EU take the hypocritical precepts they live by and repeatedly scar the world without conscience or compunction. Then they stand back in mock shock when the predictable consequences of their actions are glaringly revealed.
This just before they plan their NEXT attack.
Something partially hidden is equally wrong and wrong-headed here don’t you think?
What agenda is playing out before us that is seen as having a higher priority for western elites than that of wanton destruction, fragmentation of entire regions and the deaths of hundreds of thousands?
Is there something regarded as more important than the mere collapse of nations?
An even deeper level of insanity than simply expecting a different results after repeating the same cynical and totally callous acts of destabilization and regime change?
Does bringing democracy and freedom to the world play ANY part in their calculations?
I conclude it has not.
This, I believe is motivated by enforcing a long-held western dominion over the world at the moment when it is more under threat than at any previous time in world history.
There is no virtuous motivation involved. No selfless acts are being performed. Those perpetuating the destruction, misery and horrendous losses of war on these nations are not doing it out of the goodness of their hearts. They are doing it out of the most base motivations known to humankind. Maintenance of present power through violence and an endless lust for more of the same. For maintained and increased influence, for ever more resources, for ever greater wealth and the perpetual God-given right to be supreme controllers over all of us in perpetuity.
To them this of course, is NOT insane. Their repeated crimes against humanity are totally justified in the context, as they see it, of their own continued safety and security. For them it is only natural that they be in command, on guard, sole custodians of this planet. And it has to be said many millions appear to agree with them. There is method in the madness of the West’s elites.
And so they keep repeating their acts of aggression. And the consequences keep getting downplayed or even totally ignored. They simply press on regardless with the next project.
Rinse and Repeat. Rinse and Repeat.
There will be no awakening through catharsis for such people. They are totally invested in the project to shore up western domination and will never retreat from it. Their resolve is complete, their minds fixed on the goal of total control with their consciences totally anesthetized, no matter what the consequences are in terms of momentary blood or treasure.
These are the logical consequences of decisions made in the days immediately after 9/11. The goals set then, described above when U.S. elites were almost paralyzed with shock cannot be countermanded. Not any day since and not by any president present or future.
Due to this these insanities will go on repeating without end... or until China realizes her global destiny in reshaping the entire vicious geopolitical environment we now find ourselves in.
