UKRAINE: MAKING A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL

It wasn’t exactly an innovation.

Reagan’s willingness to see nun’s raped and whole families decapitated by the Contras outdid anything seen before or since.

Oh, there had been assassinations aplenty and coups by the dozen. But for dirty deeds you have to look far and wide for anything quite as evil as Reagan playing footsie with the inhuman creatures knows as the Contra Guerillas.

Setting the neo-Nazis and ultra-nationalist militias loose on Maidan Square, Kiev was simply a little light entertainment by comparison. It’s a spectrum of evil revealed each time. The trail of blood widens and narrows through each of the murderous adventures the USA indulges in.

Arguably the choice of a splashy bloodbath in Vietnam was the greatest evil, certainly in terms of corpses, both U.S. and Vietnamese it was. But compared to Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

There are so many U.S. initiated bloodbaths to choose from however.

Afghanistan. Iraq. Libya. Syria. Yemen.

A crimson tide flows from each one... never touching the well-manicured toes of any U.S. elite of course. If asked they will deny everything. It was all rose petals and lace, sunshine and spirituality... deeds done for all the very best of reasons. They averted their eyes after the call to action. Dubya didn’t even have to do that... his eyes were already quite blank as standard.

Ukraine was one of those bloody interventions that would run and run however. Like Iraq. Like Syria. Like Yemen will be. The calling of a vampire suits such turners of the tap of blood when it locks in the on position.

It swells to an unstoppable tide, a wound that will not heal, scars upon scars upon scars.

The elites of the USA have become experts at bringing on an inexorable sore, a welt that only grows, bruise upon bruise with no medic ever in sight expert enough to encourage healing. Only the hyenas of ever more war are heard since September 2001. No peacemakers, moderates, internationalists, conciliators or diplomats need apply. Only those who have knives at the ready to pierce a deeper wound into the gaping hole already stabbed deep into the corpse of what were once hopes of peace and stability.

At one time there were those who fought back their raw instincts of violent aggression and belief in total victory at all costs. Kennedy and Khrushchev among them. Now that mental midgets with superegos rule the political roosts of the UK and USA only the boneheaded and evil-eyed will receive sanction now.

An Ice Cold War will cause hot blood to flow. Sooner or later.

And Ukraine was a first clarion call to battle within the outer edge of Europe, a dagger for plunging into a perceived enemy’s heart. A spit in the face to Gorby and another reason created for NATO to exist and spread its rationally argued evil.
If there was a Devil in some pitchfork-strewn, fire and brimstone Hell he would surely approve. Neo-Nazis make excellent demons, the very best. Having McCain, Pyatt and Nuland kiss their noxious lips and perfume their knuckle-dustered fingers would certainly make him purr in anticipation.

What delights to see the burning faces of cops showered by Molotov Cocktails, shiver in ecstasy as a brick, club or toxic spray meets young flesh... while Obama lectures the security services of Ukraine not to lay a finger on the “peaceful protesters”.

Without doubt Reagan would approve, pointing a saintly finger at his head-chopping Contras, calling for them to receive a Nobel Peace Prize. Just like in Syria and the head-chopping, heart-eating “moderate rebels” or the gun-toting, corpse-stamping, jihadist-assistants, The White Helmets.

It’s all part of a days work to make the USA the master nation, the hegemon in perpetuity, looking down from geosynchronous orbit peering into every phone and home, ready to strike at a moments notice and cause ever more blood to flow.

It’s all done by saints who would never hurt a fly. The exceptionally good killers who have a perfectly clean conscience simply bringing peace, love, freedom, democracy and western liberal values to the world.

It’s a dirty job... but someone has to do it they say. To keep the world safe for America.

The Devil, if he existed would appreciate the joke.

And he is reputed always to be ready to make a deal.
