Like a gambler who has reached his last reserves of cash to remain in the game and win back his enormous losses, the elites of the western world are becoming increasingly desperate and in their desperation are failing to think with clarity.
Unable to any longer factor in the vital elements of the geopolitical game being played they are making a bad situation progressively worse.
Even at the outset of this "game" the western elites hindered their awareness of the full panoply of factors involved by the fixed nature of their group-thought approach. The mythology of their superiority inevitably brought with it the hubris that has led to all their previous downfalls in the geopolitical sphere. When you assume certain factors to be universally and perpetually true then inevitably you create for yourself a delusionary picture of reality. Thus a myopic state of mind ensues.
The U.S. elites conceive themselves to be infallible, to know best on every subject and to be able to make demands others must obey and if they refuse, to have the capacity to MAKE them obey. This latter at least is beginning to no longer be the case. The rising powers of Eurasia are now more than capable of resisting a fast reducing level of western power. The various sanction regimes that the West can deploy are rapidly resembling an old dog who can no longer learn new tricks, whose teeth are falling out and is in addition dying of rabies.
To act as if you are still at the height of your powers when it is clear to all others in the "game" that you are not makes you ripe for defeat on almost every level imaginable. To assume your threats will be taken seriously when all and sundry are aware just how much you are a wounded beast dying on its feet, makes you ridiculous. Demanding respect you feel is due to you when everyone sees just how disreputable your past acts have been makes you subject to scorn.
Lies justifying mass murder and invasion of nations outwith the sanction of the United Nations and international law has made of U.S. elites a recognised criminal band of lawless terrorists capable of doing immense harm to the planet and no amount of bluster now will change that fact. Pretending past history of its murderous regime change policy was simply composed of a few mistakes and bad decisions doesn't cut it. Some things are as plain as the nose on one's face. And when a gambler has no believable poker face the game is as good as lost.
Russia and China hold all the good cards now. The USA and its simpering supporters such as the United Kingdom hold busted flushes. That the U.S. continues to desperately seek a win that is now totally out of reach means it is merely making a ridiculous spectacle of itself. Russia is key to supplying Europe with natural gas. China already has much of North America in hock and is poised to expand her economy ever further. Both nations, with unified populations, are in lock step toward ever greater cooperation and expansion of both economic and geopolitical influence. The western world by contrast is mired in debt, riven by dissension and losing ever more influence by the day.
While losing hand over fist in the geopolitical game underway, U.S. and UK elites continue to talk as if they run the game instead of presiding continually over a misguided effort to ruin it. Their incapacity to confront reality and incessant habit of assuming the verity of their own delusions of perpetual superiority make them blind to their inevitable failure and ultimate ejection from the game itself. The glory days of the British empire are long gone. The chest-thumping bravado of U.S. exceptionalism is fast collapsing. Hoist on their own petards of self-induced delusion and perpetually refreshed myopia the game is very definitely up for these increasingly frustrated past powers. There will be no more regime change success. No more arm-twisting will be possible. A new geopolitical paradigm is forming. And it is now obvious that the West is playing a losing hand with ever growing incompetence.
