UKRAINE: READY YOURSELF FOR A WATERFALL OF WESTERN ELITE EXCUSES & BAREFACED LIES

The lies will now flow like veritable waterfalls when finally it becomes totally clear to all and sundry that Russia has comprehensively won in Ukraine.

You will be expected to forget all those tall tales of constant Ukrainian victories designed to ensure your continued support and bolster Ukrainian morale.

If any justification is demanded you will be fobbed off with vague assertions that Ukraine needed all that and besides why would we say anything good about the Russians or give any hint that they might be winning.

These are the secondary areas of deceit now beginning to roll from western lie mills however. Those that are MOST important to them will be the plethora of excuses they will need to cover their sorry arses by relieving themselves of any responsibility for this unholy mess.

The main thing will be that it was nothing to do with them, that they tried their best to help Ukraine but that they were misled or misinformed by the authorities there and that this meant they were unable to help them as efficiently as would otherwise be the case.

This appears to be the main ‘out’ decided upon. Though there are likely to be many to choose from. We will hear for instance from Biden how he said that it might be a good idea for Zelensky to start talking to the Russians about coming to a deal. What he will omit pointing out is that there were talks going on from quite early on and that they showed much promise ultimately. This was most clear when the talks moved to Istanbul where the Ukraine side made some significant concessions. So, how did that go, how did that positive development progress?

It didn’t.

Why so?

Certain persons by the name of Boris Johnson and Joe Biden intervened to warn Zelensky that they would not support him with the security guarantees he sought if he carried any of these concessions to Russia through. But to sugar this pill they offered a huge amount of money and copious amounts of hi-tech weaponry to wage and win the war against Russia.

So when Biden (and perhaps Johnson) say they urged peace talks to occur remember which time frame they are talking of, not all that long after the war began, and crucially remember that they effectively killed those talks just as they began to bear fruit.

Making excuses for their behaviour. It’s what politicians do with most care and attention, is it not? And, just as we saw after every other debacle from Afghanistan onward Ukraine will be the subject of many.

It wasn’t as we were were told. We did our best and could do no more. Russian forces outnumbered the Ukrainians (untrue), Kiev held back information from us… Yadda, Yadda, Yadda!

And, one way or another they will lay out all their lies before a complicit press and media say:

“Okay then, so what’s the next big thing now that Ukraine’s done?”
