THE USA’S GOD-SANCTIONED ‘FOREVER WAR’ CAN ONLY END IN TRAGEDY FOR ALL OF US

'God with a Gun'... this about sums up the modus operandi of the clique of western neoconservatives who are spreading war across the world today.

No doubt those running U.S. foreign policy have it firmly fixed in their minds that they are God’s warriors doing only what is right. Their crusade for the buzz word goals of ‘democracy’, ‘freedom’ and ‘human rights’ sets the right tone you might say. Who could object to everyone having those things? Set aside the cynical thought that these may not be the true goals of these people for a second. Even if this is truly what they wish to achieve, what is the likely cost to be paid?

It has been very well known for several generations now that for most North Americans geography is not exactly their most proficient subject. Add to this the level of knowledge they have on cultures well beyond their borders and also a certain notoriety of being trigger happy in the wars they wage, often with the result that troops allied to them die as a result. This combination is not a happy one in the ranks of their troops. How much more dire when the same factors infect those who order them into battle?

The only people finding the American wars beneficial are those who work in the western arms industry. Do they care much about the purported goals of these wars, the furtherance of democracy, freedom and human rights. It must be strongly suspected that such things have a rather low priority in their thoughts compared to how much higher their profits were this month compared to last. Yet these are the well-known sponsors of the U.S. politicians who, dumb as they are about other cultures, keep foisting wars on them. They too are the most prominent and influential lobbyists gaining enormously profitably contracts from senators and congressmen who they will later invite onto their board of directors.

The U.S. political elite clearly believe they have a ‘manifest destiny’ to interfere wherever they like as ‘the good guys’ who will do whatever they want to you in the name of these three totem goals of democracy, freedom and human rights. They believe they, as democrats have the freedom and right to engage in any criminal act against you. Not that they would admit that they could ever possibly engage in any criminal act. For them this is an impossibility as they are doing “God’s work” and this does not enter as even a remote possibility. As unbelievable as it may seem, they consider themselves to be above all laws as commonly accepted among all others.

The mission to mold the world into the shape of the USA and its allies whether the people of other cultures want it or not is breathtaking in its arrogance and blind determination. To force all nations across the planet to adhere to western norms is the goal, no matter what objections they may encounter. They know best for everyone and see themselves imbued with a holy task not dissimilar to the knights of the Crusades in times past. They feel no need to question themselves on this point. For them they have a divine right to act as they do. No doubt enters their minds. No awkward question rises in those minds. As one they agree on their quest. While the consequences of their acts are enumerated in entire regions fractured, national identities and sovereignty undermined, lives ruined and millions who have lost their lives.

The certainty of the neoconservatives who foist this torture on the world is total. No amount of death, injury, chaos or destruction will ever faze them. They are immune to any change in their determination to carry their crusade through no matter what the consequences might be. At times it even seems they believe the world would be best destroyed completely if it will not allow itself to be molded into the image they conceive of as ideal. No doubt these designer-suited monsters can spin you a good tale if you were ever to find yourself in one of their ivory towers. They would present you with a convincing case. It would also seem so clinical. It may even sound like all the millions of  litres of blood spilled would be “worth it”.
