THE FASCIST FACE OF THE USA, NOW FULLY EXPOSED

The United States of America has always been susceptible to fascism.

This through it’s exceptionally high belief in itself as superior. This concept of being a superior breed having superior political and business systems, of having a mission from God to bring its superior systems to others, by force of arms if necessary.

It needn’t have been this way.

Instead of the superior demeanor the past crimes of their counterparts including the genocidal and thieving policies toward the native population plus the brutal use made of African slaves kidnapped and made to do hard labor for the rest of their lives could have left them shamefaced.

Instead a mythology of superiority replaced any regrets which may have been felt.

This mythology of superiority exists to this day and is in a very real and obvious sense reflected in its current president who conceives he is a “stable genius” and preens himself with the idea that some see him as a god.

This overweening sense of superiority over others is a typical feature of fascism.

Though Trump personifies the arrogant brutality of the stereotypical fascist dictator he is not alone in displaying such characteristics.

The alacrity with which U.S. elites sends its military abroad is no secret to any of us.

Millions of Vietnamese died at the hands of the most powerful military the world has known. And in horrific and gruesome ways. Napalm and Agent Orange were used to decimate huge areas of Vietnam creating problems to this very day, especially Agent Orange and the disfigurements and disabilities of children through the generations.

In recent years we have seen the U.S. military or their proxies kill millions more. From Afghanistan to Iraq to Libya to Syria to Yemen. The toll of death and destruction caused by the USA is immense.

Back home there has been a history of obscene levels of racism especially in the southern states of the USA with police forces being one of the most racist entities there along with the Ku Klux Klan. In recent times, since 9/11 a plethora of new security forces have been created such as those of Homeland Security, ICE and the Border Control special forces who now operate far from U.S. borders in American cities and in other nations.

U.S. security forces have been increasingly militarized and weaponized. Ex-army weapons began to be supplied to them and training given by Israeli security forces told them that all criminals should be viewed as terrorists. Recently we hear that in training drills U.S. security forces are told to regard protestors and journalists as “adversaries”.

U.S. security forces are supplemented by armed men from the Secret Service and the Federal Guard in American cities now. If you have seen how the latest versions of cops and supercops look they will surely have reminded you of military personnel with their bulky black uniforms, protective padding, helmets and long clubs plus a range of lethal-looking weapons which they seem only too happy to use on protestors and anyone else who nearby.

It is an ugly and inescapable fact that what we are seeing are obvious signs of a growing fascism in America.

And, in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic and the callous and incompetent way it has been handled in the USA things can only get worse. Mass unemployment without adequate financial support, jobs disappearing as the economy sinks with mass business closures and soaring numbers of bankruptcies and homeless as medical bills get some and abject poverty and foreclosure gets others.

The elites of the USA are not helping the vast mass of Americans who desperately require it in this their hour of greatest need. First priority are the elites closest to the highest political elites, those who supply them with millions for their campaigns instead.

By failing the everyday American worker and their families, letting them fall into ill-health, homelessness, bankruptcy and abject poverty the fascistic U.S. elites are creating a firestorm that their newly fashioned fascist stormtroopers will be told to crack down on.

Trump uses the meme of law and order, the twin most common favorite sound-bytes of the a typical fascist leader. Trump wants all America to see him as an all-powerful strongman, the pinnacle of influence with all power invested in him as supreme ruler and dictator.  He is fascism personified, arrogant, infallible, demanding obedience to his will, castigating all who would deign to speak against him to criticize his majesty.

This, and the state of the nation he presides over bares its ugliest possible face to all who would dare face it down demanding things be otherwise.

It is the face of mindless oppression and quick recourse to violence. It is the face of stupendous arrogance and denial of all rights even those enshrined in the American constitution.

It is the ultimate culmination of all that has gone before... the fascist face of the USA now exposed for all to see.
