FAKE NEWS IS NOT NEW

Take the Bible for instance. It is almost 100% archaic fake news.

Each myth, including those that some believe in are all examples of fake news.

Such as the purity, sanctity and benign intent of murderous U.S. elites.

How do you think we arrived at the myriad mythologies, legends and religions we have now?

Fake news. People spreading their made-up concepts as if they were true.

Fake news is inbred within us as a species. We live and breathe fake news, we talk fake news each and every day. Do you think anyone speaks truth all the time, or even 1% of the time? Forget it!

The fake news we spread are called opinions and sometimes, convenient or white lies. Now and then you get a scumbag spreading black lies. That’s life. It will never be otherwise. Don’t look for saints springing from shit. Won’t happen.

Russiagate is a prime example of state-sponsored fake news. The White Helmets in Syria are another. Western states are far, far more guilty of spreading fake news and conspiracy theories than the disorganized ranks of everyday folk.

Down through history people have tried to manipulate other people to gain power. During the crusades it was said that Muslims killed Christian babies and drank their blood. This fake news helped enormously in gather knights to help slaughter the Muslims who had occupied Jerusalem.

Take a look at one of those ancient maps sometime. You may see in various places, 'Here be dragons'. Yet another type of fake news.

I have heard that Greenland was named this (although it is mostly ice) and Iceland named that way (though it's mostly green) by some more modern fake news generator out to divert attention from some real estate deal.

The very same thing happens now only it has its genesis within the CIA and the other intelligence agencies of the USA.

The babies Iraqi soldiers were supposed to have taken out of hospital incubators smashing their innocent little heads on the concrete floor. Fake news spread by the president of the United States at the time.

The notion that Saddam Hussein who was the scourge of any terrorist who dared enter Iraq was an agent of al Qaeda. Fake news spread by the entire elite deceiver cabal of the USA via their lie-conduit HQ, their owned mainstream media.

The story that Jessica Lynch was rescued from blood-drooling Iraqi doctors by a heroically daring squad of super special U.S. troops. Fake news.

But the history of fake news goes way back. The Bible is perhaps the most outstanding example however there are thousands of others. Ever religion ever created and all those still with us are completely riven with archaic fake news. You can hardly point to any one thing in any of them that can be proven to be objectively proven true.

Look into Norse legends, any legends anywhere. There were people at one time who believed them to be true. Same with the legends of ancient Egypt. You could be burned alive for saying any of these damned lies and fantastic concoctions weren’t true at various times in history.

We love story-telling as a species. Hollywood exists due to it as does literature and the theater. Then there is the artifice of art and the skills of mime. How many examples of faking it do you want?

The idea that humans are going to stop creating false, entertaining and deceiving realities that bring them plaudits or power is utterly foolish on its face.

As Lao Tsu wrote in the Tao Te Ching, ‘The truth that can be spoken is not the truth’.

And there you have it. We exist within a matrix of continual illusion, never truth.

There is no news... but fake news.
