WHY WESTERN DEMOCRACY ISN'T WORKING EXCEPT FOR ITS ELITES

There are two main conditions regarding the state of nations. Relative poverty & affluence.

These conditions determine the mode of behavior of populations in regard to authority figures.

If people are in large part poor they will tend to unify in hopes to elect wise leaders and forego individual independence in favor of the general good. However, those who are highly privileged within such a society will tend to be those who have gained most wealth by a degree of ruthless egotism and it is they who tend to present themselves as candidates for election. Systems are generally arranged so that only such candidates can stand, through prerequisites that exclude most others.    

If a nation is in large part affluent the greediest among them will want and ensure the most ignorant and/or corruptible/irresponsible leaders to be elected so their criminality remains free from inspection. Such people will ensure that either others of like mind to them or malleable ciphers receive maximum funding for their campaigns and so dominate the political ethos of the nation.

Where democracy works for the general betterment of society rather than for the minority of wealthiest individuals or their corporate interests the likelihood is that it arises in desperately unequal and generally poor societies where an individual manages to garner the support of the poor to such an extent that the usual methods of the manipulative rich are surmounted. However, such figures, when they attempt to change the status quo by introducing land reform or nationalization in attempts to distribute wealth and life chances more broadly then become a target for removal. If this eventuality arises, as seen in Latin America, the elites start to use every method in their power to disrupt the change from the status quo which benefits them to the revolutionary acts which bring benefit to the relatively poor majority. Historically, the elites of the USA, distant cousins in spirit of these elites, assist with the fomenting of coups or even assassinations.

In normal situations, where a figure such as Hugo Chavez, does NOT arise the political scene is dominated by the elites spoken of above. Where a generally more affluent society exists and less charismatic but genuine challengers with integrity arise such as Jeremy Corbyn in the United Kingdom or Bernie Sanders in the USA, they are subjected to campaigns organized by the status quo-loving elites to neutralize them, denigrate them, slander them and every possible elite channel such as mass media is used against them.

Internationally the same holds true. Leaders of nations which do not align themselves with the dominant elites of the West, in a similar way to those rare individuals mentioned above who are acted against with maximum venom and vindictiveness, are treated similarly. Such leaders as Vladimir Putin of Russia for instance and, to an ever-greater extent, Xi Jinping of China. (Xi is a more difficult challenge for them however due to the economic power of China and the degree to which it holds western elite debt.) Russia presents a weak enough target and the western elites invariably pick the weakest target available at any one time. China is clearly being targeted too... but Russia has been chosen as the first and weakest target to partially use as a warning to others who would challenge the global status quo.

The global status quo which western elites are now desperately attempting to shore up, defend and maintain to the maximum degree possible, has been long-held as their right and privilege as the most powerful elites of modern times, as demonstrated by WWII and the undermining and destruction of the Soviet Union and its Warsaw Pact union of states. Maintaining this status quo with the patrician dominance of western elites and their allies parallels the situation mentioned above in Latin America where local elites determine to maintain power over all others and enlist the help of the elites of other nations (USA in this example) to assist.

The elites primarily of the USA and UK, with assistance from those of most of western Europe have a strong incentive to neutralize the effect and economic power of others not aligned with them. They will use every method available to them which parallel the methods used against the example figures above, Jeremy Corbyn and Bernie Sanders. These methods are quite obvious in their ruthlessness (such as the constant slandering of such figures as Vladimir Putin, Bashar al-Assad and others) but western mass media and that of western allies will not convey this in any way, shape or form and thus normalize such behavior.

Such realities and behaviors, for the reasons given initially, are not subject to change via the so-called democracy that is so lauded by the elites of the West and is still agreed to by a perhaps surprising number of its long-suffering populations.

Two quotations from Albert Einstein are apposite here:

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.”

“We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”

The reasons delineated in the text above are why, in my opinion western democracy can never work, not while the factors exist as I have described them. At least not as long as ‘greed’, ‘overweening privilege’, ’self-interest’ and ‘rampant ambition’ dominate political life and the status quo maintained by those who have risen to power driven by such characteristics, and who then see all rivals as enemies to denigrate and defeat.

If you ask me, “What is the alternative?” I would have to answer a revolution from below such as Bernie Sanders has called for avoiding any of the characteristics in the previous paragraph including taking ANYTHING from elite sources including funding. Then, once in power, moving to maximize socialism and fiercely regulate capitalist enterprise to keep it ethical. In due course there would be no second party as the elite cabal would no longer have the will of the people behind them in anything like sufficient quantities, only the fascistic greedy, already privileged, self-interested and overly ambitious would support them and, in my ideal scenario they would be vastly outnumbered by those content with the wise leaders they trust due to the resultant vastly happier society they have created.

For an example in progress I would point to Russia, but to an even greater extent to China.

Democracy may take western nations to a de facto one party system if things become bad enough (and all indicators point to this). In order for such a fundamental change to occur where the present elites of the West, enormously powerful as they are, are successfully removed from power and the present status quo is undermined, a whole new paradigm opens up potentially leading to the global cooperation required to face the future with pride, in civilized unity.

CHINA, RUSSIA & WESTERN ELITE LIES

It is as if western elites are looking in a mirror when they make accusations against China & Russia.

The suspicion must be that their constant & obvious lies are designed to hide their weakness & growing inferiority.

China and Russia represent the hope of humankind for a better future. The elites of the West represent the outdated aggression that won them economic resources but also a reputation for ruthlessness, enslavement, exploitation and mass murder.

I suppose it was inevitable that the deeply embedded belligerence and sense of innate superiority over those they exploited, enslaved and murdered would not fade with time but would continue to the bitter end of their irresponsible and ultra-violent era.

This is tragic however, and takes their irresponsibility to new levels of primitive behavior where they would rather destroy the world than work hand in hand with the powers rising to eclipse their economic empires. Empires of self-interest they clearly cannot contemplate sharing.

The increasing mental dysfunction inherent in the behavior of western elites now is obvious. There is hardly a trace of sanity to be found within it. The elites of both the USA and UK build massive new and very expensive weapons of war, even contemplating filling the near-earth space with such devices. They create monstrous enemies out of thin air to frighten their populations into agreement with jingoistic rhetoric that has no earthly basis in fact.

China is building a trading network in the Belt and Road initiative which will link the economic benefits of the nations it passes through with the stability that comes through trade, trust and cooperation. Russia is similarly only interested in expanding her trading potential and linkage to nations across the planet. These activities were for decades lauded across the West as the most praiseworthy aspects of capitalist endeavor. But when it comes to Russia and China the tune is now about danger and risk, about adversaries, even enemies. Why?

The economic potential of the West remains high... but it is faltering. Its economies are laden with debt, its societies riven by disputing political factions and general disharmony, it engages in interminable internal squabbles that drive it always in circular arguments and disputes that lead only to what are increasingly troubled societies where solutions are illusive. When everyone wants their own way, then no one gets their way. These are societies with no decent future before them.

This is especially so when their leaders use the methodologies of lies and fear from above generating a chaotic maelstrom of confusion, strife and at times jingoistic hysteria below. The societies of China and Russia are so much more unified in this respect. There is little to no such fervor within them of this kind. Naturally no human society is completely free from a certain degree of division, misunderstanding and strife... but any fair-minded person making a comparison between these societies and those in the West cannot be in any doubt which is more free of these aspects.

There are no totally perfect societies and there is no reason to believe there ever will be... but better societies where the happiness quotient is high certainly are possible, societies where cooperation breeds trust and these together generate higher and higher degrees of harmony.

China has deep cultural legacies, both ancient and modern that emphasize harmony and Russia too has had this emphasis as a necessity in the world's largest nation which has within its borders over 190 ethnic groups. In contrast the USA and UK and lesser so within mainland Europe the strife between the various nationalities within them has been obvious for generations.

The history of the USA and UK has been of national interests exploiting other nations using their economic and military power, subjugating them, even at times enslaving them and exploiting both their people (for slaves) and plundering their resources. In recent times this plundering has been in the form of mega-corporations demanding special favors within weaker economies than those back home. The drive to increase their bottom lines has been all to them and the conditions of those they exploit, next to nothing in terms of priority.

It is primarily China that has shown the more equitable way forward, bringing net worth to the societies, nations and peoples it greets in partnership with investment in all aspects of the relationship where it will remain committed, unlike western corporations that stay only as long as the initial tax breaks remain as an incentive for them.

The lies which have been told by the U.S. and UK elites in recent times have been about the ongoing legacy stemming from their abuses of others and the encroachment of long-term planning and investment by others, primarily China. The lies attempt to convince western populations that Russia and China present military threats whereas the truth is that the only threat they pose is to the economic and military systems of the West that have only succeeded through threats, coercion and exploitation.

The period we are living through currently will more and more clearly evidence these facts. The USA & UK will without doubt use wrecking ball tactics in an attempt to stave off the inevitable... that their era of threat-enforced economic and military dominance is ending. The coronavirus pandemic has brought the demise of their malignant empire ever closer to its end and China rising after her efficient approach to dealing with the virus will ensure she rises to the needed tipping point even faster now than expected.

That tipping point is when the UK and USA are no longer able either economically or militarily to hold the rest of the world to ransom and we will see their influence noticeably wane due to a multipolar world manifesting itself in plain sight. At this point a safer world will inevitably emerge where the constant threat of invasion, war, destabilization of sovereign nations and mass murder can no longer be used by the criminal elites of the West.

During the above process we will see the lies of the western elites increase even from their already high levels due to their panic and desperation, the signs of their long-held grasp on the world noticeably slipping. They may well take even more irresponsible, destructive and murderous acts than those already perpetrated to date and they will inevitably use false flag events as claims of how evil ‘the other side’ is. The ‘other side’ however will simply carry on building the better world that will come after the old one based on the West’s criminal activities expires. The West is like a dying animal striking out at the false enemies it sees all around it... but like that animal it will eventually and inevitably weaken and die just the same.

WE WISH YOU TO BE WISE

Western elites are now progressively having a tough time getting their own way. They are less and less trusted.

They’ve been caught lying too many times.

Too many times they’ve manipulated their own, duping them into agreeing to mass murder overseas, to homegrown spying and excuses for why they must cater to corporations not citizens.

The process of mistrust in politicians has been underway for several decades now. With the regime change wars of choice in the Middle East after 9/11 the situation reached a nadir... but has found even deeper levels since that time.

And the regime change wars go on and on of course...

The cynicism is now at peak levels and has arrived there just as a) the coronavirus arrived, and b) the result of the U.S. presidential election came into dispute.

On a) the coronavirus, both the UK and USA are in constant turmoil with conflicting advice from their governments that are in any case not trusted.

On b) the corrosive division between the two primary political factions of what Noam Chomsky calls ‘The Business Party’, a low level civil war has broken out due to the lack of trust on both sides.

Outside of this melee of hot-headed emotion, mistrust and alternate facts we have a still, as yet relatively small grouping of those who have wised up beyond the arena of highly partisan political warfare they see all around them. They have also seen through the misinformation and misdirections of their elites.

These are the progressive independents who have by whatever set of circumstances been able to hold obscuring elite narratives and violently partisan emotions at bay while they looked for more fundamental realities regarding the path to here, what is truly here and possible ways forward.

I would differentiate these relatively few wise from the merely ‘woke’. There is a world of difference under the facile resemblance one to another that exists merely on the surface of minds still largely asleep.

Those who have wised up are no longer subject to the same degree of control regarding their intellects and emotions that they merely ‘woke’ are still subject to. They are not inclined to suffer any knee jerk reactions but using their hard won insight from a dedication to looking deeper and for longer they can pinpoint truth and falsity much more accurately than those newly woken to some surface manifestations.

It is not certain that the relatively few in number I speak of will grow in sufficient numbers to affect any of the fundamental changes that are so obviously needed in this age of disunity, chaos and manipulative narratives with their attendant agendas. To become wiser and join this select grouping you need certain mental characteristics whose genesis remain a mystery. Those reading this will recognize this in themselves. You simply ARE that way. It is not a pose, it is not something that you can create in any other persons, there is no act or special ability except perhaps to be able to provide clues to others by your way of being and communicating... the content being crucial.

Naturally the vast majority of us would wish that everyone wise up so we can all live lives not tortured by the insanity we see mounting almost everywhere... wars, enmity, division, mistrust, envy, hate... everything we absolutely do not need at this time when, in the face of mounting future threats, we need unity, trust, understanding and agreement like never before. But how to achieve these things when the majority seems intent on tearing each other apart?

I have no easy answers. Those of us who have the benefit of being able to stand outside the fray mourn the world we have envisaged for so long receding, not approaching. We see that the present and continuing chaos is being fomented by ignorance, lack of imaginative insight and the seemingly eternal divisions between political ambitions.

We would wish there could be a recognition of our species as the astronauts in the International Space Station see us, as a unity, as the best of Hollywood ultimately portrays us, as decent human beings who win out over all that threatens us. We would wish our politicians to come together and effect the solutions we see clearly would bring better conditions for all... instead of retreating constantly from those solutions in favor of  more war, more division, more mistrust and more worldwide chaos. They disappoint us. They infuriate us. They make us ineffably sad. We cannot understand why, in this modern era of so many technical solutions and endless wealth you cannot seem to use all this incredible bounty to do the most obvious things that would make life so much better for all.

We recognize there is a deep ignorance and irresponsibility within you and...

We would so wish you to be wise.

THE ELITE NEED YOU TO LISTEN & OBEY

Before the internet you listened to the elites. You had little alternative. That’s all there was except for word of mouth and local issues that established elites cared little about unless someone got very uppity. They controlled most other primary information flows.

The elites in each nation had a monopoly on what was factual. What they said went, via each vehicle present at that time which meant not so long ago, only a very few newspapers. Manipulation of the news stream was easy. All editors deferred to either royalty or politicians or their minions and enforcers such as the church and military. Alternative viewpoints could be expressed in book form which if too objectionable or too great a threat to the elites of the time could well be banned.

Before the advent of newspapers many different scenarios prevailed which ensured the elites and “the rest” remained distance with the elites always able to manipulate any given situation to their satisfaction.

Furthest back in time the elites used the most basic of all methods against those who threatened their power by organizing themselves to change things. They would be executed. Every now and then things would get so bad that people revolted against the powers of that time. Sometimes, as in the case of the French and later Russian revolution they would win out. In other cases such as The Peasant’s Revolt in England they were duped into believing their grievances would be dealt with by the king or other elites then the ringleaders would be found and hanged as an example. At that time of course most of the population were serfs, essentially slaves who were owned by their masters. In later times, after serfdom ended most were still tied to some master or other, then named gentlemen, men who need not work as they had others to do the work for them and guarantee their income.  

The powerful elites of these times used religion as a useful tool to keep populations in line and docile as required. Strict rules of belief and etiquette prevailed. Church and state worked more or less in tandem to manipulate the masses. For them these were highly irrational masses who required to be restrained from running amok by demanding greater rights. it was not only profits that were at stake but the level of control their “betters” had over these “lesser mortals".

With the industrial revolution the processes that would eventually lead to our present day access to diverse forms of information and the diminution and partial disregard of manipulative elite messaging began.

The Sixties in the West saw the turn of the tide against the elites who had, had a fairly comfortable ride to that time presiding over what had been to that time a rather conformist milieu where sons and daughters varied little from their fathers and mothers in attitudes, dress sense and much else besides. The revolt against the establishment began in earnest mid-way through the decade and has continued in some form or other to this day. Naturally western elites have done everything in their power to offset this unwelcome trend. Security forces were applied ruthlessly to teach those who insisted on change that it would certainly not come through them. Tokenism was also used to tamp down the revolts, protests and riots and this continues to be the main weapon used by western politicians to assuage would be revolutionaries. Their greatest asset in this is the liberal class who talk of change but are in fact the guardians of the status quo, working always to minimize the effects of radical activity demanding fundamental changes.


It has only been in the last decade or two, with the advent of the internet and social media that the mechanisms the elites had to control their populations began to break down and the use of liberals to hold the line became paramount.

Then Trump came along and threw a giant spanner into the workings of the liberal elites. A rise in internet use with alternate views being provided and sought out produced a dangerous schism between the predominant elites and those they wished to manipulate as they had always done. They had to develop new tactics to undermine the growing discontent and deviation from their narratives.

Several primary solutions were developed. One was the substitution of the term ‘fake news’ for ‘opinions’ or the more pejorative term ‘verbiage’. Down through history people had opinionated on this and that quite freely as long as it didn’t seem to contain a threat to the established powers. Mythology exists in every nation, fireside tales of derring-do passed down from one generation to the next. Religion itself was almost entirely composed of unbelievable myths that people were often made to accept as unassailable truths. Rumors would spread from time to time down through the ages and elites would often use these to demonize enemies they needed to raise armies against. Nearer our time a whole industry of fabrication arose with novels and films becoming hugely popular. So the fabrication of alternate realities is not new, and when it was not threatening to the elites, when in fact it assisted them in that it kept the masses docile, it was of course fully accepted and profited from.

The problem with social media for the elites is not that there is fake news on it, it is that there are alternate views on it, views that do not reflect their narratives, narratives that they need to maintain in order to keep control. The liberal press and media were the two primary weapons against those insisting on having an alternate opinion to that of the elites. Their opinions would be termed ‘fake news’, they themselves would be denigrated as trolls, bots and as near as dammit, traitors. This was all quite premeditated. All those with an alternate opinion to those in power were to be rubbished, denigrated and their reputations ruined wherever and whenever possible. And the liberals who controlled most of the mainstream milieu, within media and across the worlds of academia, art and other intellectual pursuits were extremely happy to help with this as their position was also threatened as arbiters of what was acceptable and what was not.

The case of Stephen F. Cohen was a case in point. It was unacceptable for even such an erudite person well-respected in his field as an emeritus professor of Russian studies at two of the USA most prominent universities to express views not in line with prevailing elite narratives. For merely having an informed opinion on events surrounding Russia he was ruthlessly and publicly denigrated from multiple sources and on many mediums. Mr Cohen’s views did not tally whatsoever with the believable lies the liberal elites within the Democratic Party required the American public to believe. Therefore he was labeled as ‘Putin’s Puppet’ and worse in an effort to stifle him and to spread the concept far and wide that he was not to be trusted. 

Bernie Sanders and Jeremy Corbyn, both threats in their own ways to the established order of the elites were treated in similar fashion to Stephen F. Cohen by the use of key concepts to demean and negate them as challengers. False accusations of thuggery in their support base was one, Vladimir Putin being partial to their campaigns was another and finally antisemitism. The established elites supposedly on the left are just as ruthless and dirty in their tactics than those on the right when it comes to their self-preservation.

This is the sole aim of the ‘fake news’ tool developed by the liberal elites and those they maintain in power, to reduce the respect given, as much as humanly possible, to all views that do not coincide with required elite narratives. Naturally there must always be some elements of truth in any propaganda operation and the field of conspiracy theory provides a certain power to the ‘fake news’ motif. However, people have always speculated in such terms, it is nothing new and whether more people are exposed to these speculations now is no business of the elites, the only reason they are active at all on the subject is their need to constantly assert as full control over all narratives as possible. Therefore to denigrate all unhelpful speculations across the board the concept of ‘fake news’ was developed.

Now, with the almost certain defeat of Donald Trump it seems certain we will see an ever greater attempt by western elites to bear down hard on all views and narratives but their own. I predict cancel culture will go into overdrive with any and all alternative voices being silenced or attempted to be silenced starting with the most popular and frequently listened to voices such as Max Blumenthal, Ben Norton, Jimmy Dore and many others. They will be demonized in the context of a “free world” at war with powerful foreign “enemies” where false flag events will be arranged to motivate solidarity in the general public against all such voices. 9/11 caused this chilling effect which prevailed for years thereafter. But western elites need ever more false flag events to maintain their dominance. The regime change targets western elites wish to render weak if not totally destroyed will be demonized through such events and similar propaganda to that used during Russiagate will be deployed to demonize also those who do not toe the establishment line. The discrediting of insightful observers will become commonplace as the endless effort of those in power to stay in power and maintain the status quo continues in fiercer form than ever.

The order to listen and obey will be more insistent than ever in an age where freedom of speech has become a major threat to those who would keep us controlled. 

WHAT IF...?

What if the USA is not the most powerful force for good in the world but the most powerful force for evil?

What if Russia acted as the USA purports to do in freeing nations from the evil acts of their leaders? What then if it freed America from that evil? Wouldn’t that be a noble act of assistance to Americans?

What if the aim in Ukraine was not to enable the Ukrainian people to have better lives but instead was merely a geopolitical move by the EU and USA to weaken a Russia that was not falling in line with their plans?

What if the aim in Iraq was not to find weapons of mass destruction as was claimed but as a way to weaken Iran, Syria and other states for the sake of Israel?

What if all the exceptionalism claimed for the USA was just a cover to legitimize all possible war crimes and crimes against humanity its elites sought for their own self-interest by gaining global hegemony?

What if destroying Libya was a choice not a necessity?

What if employing NATO against Serbia was not for the good of people living in the region but just to ensure that a successful Yugoslavia could not be saved?

What if the tens of thousands of people working for the CIA, NSA and every other intelligence agency across the western world are there to prop up an evil elite and for no other purpose?

What if the Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact were destroyed not out of concern for the citizens living in these states but because their governments saw those nations as economic rivals?

What if all western mainstream press and media are working to preserve the dominance of western elites over all other nations for the sake of economic power and the influence to manipulate nations that this brings with it?

What if almost everything you’ve ever been told by those in authority is a lie?

 

THE UNACCOUNTABLES

They operate well beyond democratic reach, making plans with detailed precision to shift geopolitical realities. They work in exclusive isolation, immune from all far-flung realities stemming from their dedicated efficiency.

These are the members of an extremely elite group which exists in every western nation but which are in greatest numbers in the USA and UK. They are the enforcers of elite will, the architects of military missions and of diplomatic initiatives. With logistical precision they transform requirements from above via in-depth knowledge of all personnel and materiel utilities to action plans. The conversion of state requirements, complete with short-term, medium-term and long-term goals is the constant activity of tens of thousands of specialists, analysts and experts both civil and military, delivered with all the detail required to mobilize all available resources in order to attain them.

This is a bloodless, methodical task taking place in an atmosphere of perfect calm, in a highly-regulated and coolly efficient workplace within well-appointed offices where every possible technical facility is at the disposal of those who work there. The final products are detailed plans with all logistical features in place, the movement of military units, the in-depth design of training facilities, the structure of need-to-know connectivity or exclusivity, all timescales delineated, project goals and mission statements set, ambitions communicated in terms of high, medium or low risk assessments, every possible aspect of every action plan set out to long agreed uniform, bureaucratic standards.

The atmosphere is calm though the activity engaged in is never less than constantly busy within this well organized hive. Information flows in at high volume, contacts are made at all levels with military precision with usual norms and protocols in place via high security fully-encrypted lines. Government officials meet with high level specialists here, a Middle East specialist is called in for consultation there, the various CIA or GCHQ contacts deliver their in-person briefings in this or that tightly closed environment with all necessary security protocols in place and strictly observed. The hive of these urbane, neatly dressed, well coiffured and calmly efficient men and women operates as a highly efficient machine in an atmosphere of dedicated civil service duty and constant desire to deliver meeting all delineated requirements.

These are the unaccountables... and what is it that they deliver you may ask.

What do all these hard-working, highly intelligent, immensely well-educated and scrupulously vetted people produce? These incredibly well-paid men and women with beautiful homes in leafy suburbs with lovable fresh-faced children going to the very best schools and universities... what is their ultimate product? What is it that all this activity, completely beyond all public scrutiny and the supposed systems of democracy that are meant to give the people a say, brings forth to the light of some far away day?

The fruits of the labors of all these tens of thousands working within the auspices of western governments in this tightly controlled and methodically regulated world are several.

They are seen in far away places such as Iran, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, The Sudan, Ukraine, Yemen and in the recent past, primarily Syria. But not only... the unaccountables work much closer to hand to achieve their employer's goals also, you may even recognize some of their "fruits" in your own location from time to time.

Action plans are drawn up for myriad missions and initiatives, flowcharts for delivering coordination of events, detailed connection displays and the mobilization of all “devices” to attain sub-goals leading to primary objectives, tools and projects for opinion-moulding, initiative tweaking, dynamic planning and overall the minute detail and planning in depth required to effect to effect the rendering of plans to meet western state needs.

It is all very efficient. All very sanitized, compartmentalized, without emotion, all contained within known mental guidelines excluding any extraneous thoughts regarding untoward eventualities. These are all men and women who have been vetted for such thoughts, thoughts that indicate conscience levels that are too dangerously active. Such people were rejected after the multiple interviews that feature in any selection process for this sensitive work. Willingness to dedicate oneself completely to the work with total faith that all that is done is right and proper and for the safety and security of millions, never to be doubted or mistrusted. Only those with the “right” characteristics will ever be allowed within the ranks of the unaccountables.

They are monitored closely and in depth in many ways, physically, mentally, by personal contact, even interrogation, study of social media use in all locations not excluding their homes. They are certainly not unaccountable to their superiors but to us, the general public, they certainly are. As millions walked the streets of western capitals prior to the second Iraq war stating by their vocal presence they wanted no attack on that nation based on flawed intelligence those unaccountables worked on as efficiently as ever. So many logistical demands were made upon them at that time to coordinate the war to come. As yet they had not received instruction regarding what would follow. At that time, so soon after the events of September 11th 2001 this was too large a task, too unpredictable and not the overwhelming priority of the main task which demanded their full attention and time.

While the people protested and were perhaps even within earshot of the Whitehall or Washington office blocks where they worked the unaccountables without doubt simply worked on as usual, heads down, doing their tasks with unaffected, assurance, measured consistency and with their required efficiency.

These intermediaries are a vital necessity, the indispensable medium by which elite requirements gain the traction required on the ground to effect their goals whether that ground is located in Idlib, London, Belgrade, Yerevan, Chicago or Beijing. Without the unaccountables using all their modern technological utilities, their access to unlimited expertise, in-house and allies’ software of surveillance, web of NSA, CIA, MI6 contacts and input, armed forces liaison and global satellite big data with all contacts, information, planning coordinated to exquisite depths... what could those state elites do other than wage war in the old bloody ways of the chaotic and barely predictable past?  

Now war could be waged with every aspect controlled, with all message systems in place to assuage the needless fears of those of lesser concern, the great mass of uninformed irrationality that was the general public. Yes, certain deeds would not be moral or ethical... but they were necessary, now that 9/11 had revealed that necessity. Not that the unaccountables should be affected. Monitoring of this vital asset had to be even more strictly observed across all such assets. For they are truly indispensable. The foot soldiers in civilian dress, the conduit to the overt or covert management of nation take down, the delivery of the needed distress in targets where public unrest would serve best, the coordinators of controlled chaos and enlightened militarism with a humanitarian hue.

Only for all the best possible reasons of course...

THE ARCHETYPES & ADVOCATES OF TERROR

One of the most lucrative enterprises of all in the USA is the Threat Creation and War Incentives Industry.

Its elite look like able, serious-minded people who are very well-informed. They talk a very good war game...

They have set up their stalls within a fixed milieu of U.S. exceptionalism from the end of the Second World War till now and since 9/11 they are entrenched at deeper levels than ever before.

All the peacemakers, such as there were, went out of business after 9/11 and the decisions made immediately after those events mean there will be no new start-ups. The goal of total global dominance for the sake of U.S. safety is not subject to change and the incoming Biden administration will do all it can to forward that goal.

This is why upward of fifty who work within or used to work within the national security state of the USA came out in favor of Joe Biden before the election and why another one hundred and fifty or so are speaking out against Trump now.

Trump is his own worst enemy on many fronts. He encouraged irrationality and discord across a wide range of issues and created situations which demonstrated the very worst of his characteristics. This ultimately led to his downfall. The areas where his innate sensitivity to criticism and aggressive responses were seen, were many. As one example, his reaction to the coronavirus pandemic most certainly lost him votes. As with Bush immediately after 9/11, if he had simply reflected a strong core of stability on which the country’s citizens could rely he would have actually gained in popularity, not lost it. But Donald Trump has little feeling for such niceties and prefers a rather vain bluster and diversion of attention away from him thinking that’s what’s appropriate. It is not.

Where he deserves some praise is in his unwillingness to indulge the warmongers he fatally surrounded himself with. John Bolton. Mike Pompeo. Elliott Abrams. Nikki Haley and others. Why he chose such inveterate warmongers when his primary foreign policy statements during the 2016 presidential election indicated an entirely opposite ethos was his goal remains a mystery.

This may be the most important own goal of all those that Trump scored against himself and his support base. The warmongers were perhaps supposed to protect him from criticism from a Democratic Party that has become the go to place for such warmongers. As he found out this was never going to work. The hatred for him in the Democratic Party was and is such that precisely nothing he could have done would have saved him from that criticism.

The interests of Wall Street and the warmongers coincide almost completely and this was shown most clearly in the fact that the Democrats received around four times as much in donations from Wall Street companies as Trump did in the run-up to this year’s presidential election. War is such good business and those on Wall Street who are within the so-called Defense Industry know that it is the Democrats now who are most likely to keep their cash registers ringing.

There is a plethora of so-called think tanks subsidized by these “Defense” Industry corporations. They are the main source of assistance now to the assembly line of potential members of Biden’s cabinet. This cabinet will very obviously be the most neocon grouping seen since that of George W. Bush. What’s more they will be backed by every prominent member of the Democratic Party and that goes for those who call themselves progressives such as AOC. They will all defer to the official line of the Democratic Party leadership.

The unity among those warmongers Biden surrounds himself will be much more total that any seen from the Trump cabinet, especially so in regard to the president himself. You will hear no criticism of any allies and none of NATO. A fully weaponized unity across the board will be demanded and will be received... and this includes all liberal press and mass media. Those voicing any doubts will be cast as misinformed at best and foreign agents as worst, if not actual traitors. To be anti-war will be to be anti-American. Just think about that for a second as I am certain that is what we are about to see as a consequence of the Biden stance as a mirror opposite of that of Trump on foreign policy. Having said that, where Trump showed (to them) an admirable belligerence (in the case of Venezuela and Iran for instance) that will be continued.

The national security state, the military industrial complex, the serried ranks of warhawk advisers with the full compliance of wall street and liberal mainstream media will all be as one and in lockstep to talk in utmost jingoistic terms about the “enemies” of the “free world” and the need to do all in terms of threats, warnings, demands and acts of war to face them down, make them desist, surrender and obey.

These together are the archetypes and advocates of terror that will reign supreme for the next four years of a Biden administration.

So... better batten down the hatches folks. We are in for a VERY bumpy ride.

(And that is without even considering what Trump and his people will get up to in the forthcoming four years.)
