RUSSOPHOBIA AND PUTIN PARANOIA

How far can abject rubbish be promulgated in societies where all reality is subject to individual interpretation?

Pretty damn far it appears.

The USA and UK have long since lost a firm grip on what is true and what is fantasy.

Especially the USA of course. Hollywood and a plethora of cults and conspiracy theories plus what appears to be widespread drug use has fueled an intelligence-draining acid corroding American brains. Add to that a state of war between multiple sides with each having its own alternate truth, particularly within the political arena.

From above, permeating its own additional acid is the mass media “news” industry which makes money out of exaggerated realities designed to create shock value. Simply reporting the news is not enough any more, the 24 hour news cycle demands content to continually suck in the attention of viewers. Thus we get talking heads sharing their notions of what reality is, what nefarious plans are being drawn up by this side or that depending on their political affiliation.

In the UK the BBC suffered a coup and made a swift right turn after being hounded by the then Labour Party government after a radio interview with a journalist who exposed Blair’s lies on Iraq’s non-existent WMDs. All semblance of impartiality departed on geopolitical issues where regime change targets of the USA and UK were concerned. Russia became public enemy number one and Putin began to be referenced as a modern day Hitler.

Newspapers became viewspapers across the western world in recent times in an effort to stay afloat when the tide of social media and online news threatened to crash their business plans. The Guardian switched from left to right after UK foreign office agents raided it to smash computers holding Snowden revelations. It joined a baying chorus of Russophobic voices vying with each other to print ‘Russia Did It’ headlines.

The Democrats in the USA either immersed themselves in a group-thought mania against Putin and Russia that they actually believed or saw their only chance to relieve Hillary Clinton of the huge embarrassment and enormous blow to her pride of being beaten to the U.S. presidency by an orange loudmouth and sociopathic thug by claiming $90k of crazy irrelevant Facebook ads cooked up by Russians swung the 2016 election for her rival.

This madness has run for years now and there appears no end to it.

I constantly wonder at the seemingly endless mania with which the Putin Paranoia and Russophobic runes are cast out on an almost daily basis to a western public still not immune to mass media’s constant delivery of unbelievable content. How many lies do people have to be told on multiple regime change targets with catastrophic results before people re-learn the benefits of skepticism?

The gullibility of the many seems endless. meanwhile those with level heads still intent on gleaning facts rather than in accepting fictions scratch their heads in dismay at the seemingly endless ability of modern humans in what is meant to be the ‘Information Age’ to be gulled into the most brain-addled of states over both Vladimir Putin and Russia.

When you think of the calamities we face as a species, the huge and growing threats of the current pandemic and the imminent arrival of climate change catastrophes both desperately requiring world unity the mind boggles at the stupidity and reckless irresponsibility of both western leaders and media creating a constant focus on division.

Russia does not have the capacity or the intent to harm the western world in any significant fashion. Putin has demonstrated repeated willingness to work with western powers on the important issues and threats of the present day and precarious world we now live in. If you have doubts at all about this please find Putin’s speech in Munich of 2007 on YouTube. It is there in its entirety translated into English in subtitles. The speech is prophetic, as relevant now as it ever was and demonstrates the qualities that make Vladimir Putin the most outstanding world leader we have and have had since he assumed office in the year 2000.

Increasingly we have seen what looks like madness overtake western elites across the board from the world of politics to the defense industries to mass media and beyond. It almost amounts to some death wish desperation, a mania for some delusional end times scenario, a desperate end game world domination gambit or descent into an Orwellian dystopia where we are all monitored by a U.S. big brother 24/7.

While China rises fast owning great swathes of the mad beast that has become America and creating a trading network to rival the great 'Silk Road’ of the past to Europe and beyond... the West obsesses on Putin and Russia. Putin the modern day Svengali and Fu Manchu combined mixed with a dash of Hitler and Stalin in a cocktail to self-infect western elites with self-serving mania that allows insane policy paths forward. NATO policy being chief among them.

We are in an Ice Cold War, not merely a Cold War vers. 2. This war is absent any true dialogue. No detente will occur. No dialogue of any depth. The western elites are in a fight for their lives, for the continuance of their power in a world which is seeing the constant erosion of their power of command, the fading of the reach of their colonial mentality, the eclipse (by China) of their patrician domination. In addition, the absolute determination of the U.S. elites formulated immediately after 9/11 to achieve full spectrum dominance over the entire planet to make America safe is losing ground daily to China.

But evidently it is all Putin’s fault acting with the Russian state to stymie the noble efforts of virtual saints in the western world to bring democracy and freedom to all. /sarcasm

This is where we are. In a world gone mad. Where the most dangerous entities wear halos of sanctity and those who could bring an element of sanity to the proceedings are slandered as despots.

Russophobia rules in the West without any apparent end to the insane memes constantly enlivened by new evidence-free accusations by political puppets and headline hungry editors alike.

This is how the world moves forward, in a daze,  more divided than ever... sleepwalking toward disaster, mesmerized by ever-increasing delusion, confusion, division and a terminal inability to face reality.

In 1967, aged 17 I believed we had a wonderful future ahead of us. Each decade thereafter has disabused me of this notion. Now it seems to me we have reached the ultimate crossroads, the end product of all the wasted years when we could have worked together to solve the ecological and geopolitical fissures that will work destroy all our lives if we don’t heal them urgently now at this last minute we have left.

But no, those of the West would apparently welcome no world in preference to a world they can’t continue to control.

And Russophobia and Putin Paranoia appear to be its answer and solution in its suicidal quest for continued dominion... or death.

NAVALNY: MAKING A MOUNTAIN OUT OF A DUNGHILL

U.S. cops murder one black man after another. Then George Floyd is asphyxiated, pinned to the ground with a cop’s knee on his neck. Riots erupt. Meanwhile, publisher Julian Assange has been in jail for a year for revealing U.S. war crimes.

But the western world frets over Alexei Navalny in Russia?

Alexei Navalny is seen as all important to western elites as he is their only chip in their regime change war with Russia. Therefore the coverage is suddenly wall to wall. Just as it was wall to wall regarding the non-existent Uyghur genocide, just as it was with Syria’s non-existent chemical attack in Douma, just as it was with Libya’s imminent slaughter of rebels on their way to Benghazi. Just as non-existent babies were grabbed out of incubators and had their non-existent heads bashed onto hospital floors in Iraq. Just as non-existent weapons of mass destruction could be ready in 45 minutes to fire at non-existent targets. Just as the non-existent crimes reported by the infamous White Helmets. Just as. Just as. Just as.

We see the same ploy repeated endlessly. Bullshit spread thickly across every possible state or corporate asset by the prostitute press and media of the USA, UK and the lesser creatures of western influence in Europe. And so many seem ever enthusiastic to lap it up as if it’s manna from heaven.

Time and time again the same kind of gullibility is seen... no matter how often the bleating sheep get fleeced they always come brainlessly back for more. The appetite for lies seems endless across the barren wastes of western public opinion in general.

Navalny is simply the latest example of the West’s desperation to create trouble in Russia.

Imagine if Russia involved itself in Black Lives Matter to the same extent, calling for justice for George Floyd. Taking the USA to task at the United Nations along with China and others, seeking sanctions, using any power it has to halt pipelines and generally interfering to the maximum possible.

What an uproar would erupt across every smug, designer-suited official and politician at every level of the western elite edifice.

Navalny is being dealt with according to the procedures of Russian law administered by the officials designated to look after his case of embezzlement. He is a minuscule figure in the great sweep of Russian life, a creepy individual who has a following of young malcontents selfishly hoping for some freedom to act even more selfishly at the expense of others.

Most of these specimens of total self-interest have grown up in a Russia that owes its very existence to the man they love to hate, Vladimir Putin. Most of them will have few if any memory of the desperate Yeltsin years when Russia was rapidly disappearing down the drain with a basket case economy, crime round every corner, with the mafia taking control and life expectancy dropping like a stone.

Vladimir Putin almost single-handedly turned Russia round step by step. There was no one else around with the smarts to do it, no one with Putin’s resolve and dedication to the Russian people above all else. In spite of the elites of the West constantly bad-mouthing him with accusations without merit, without a trace of hard evidence, he persevered, stuck to the task in hand and succeeded magnificently.

What did Alexei Navalny do exactly? He carped and complained and became his own publicist via illegal gatherings designed to cause trouble and make a name for himself. He is a creepy provocateur and nothing more. Except that to the West he is a way to help cause trouble in Russia and the more trouble the better.

A virtual nonentity except to deluded, hugely ignorant and irresponsible teens and twenties who have always revolted against the status quo but when asked have no true and reasoned concept of what they want to replace it with. I know, I have been to Russia many times and I have spoken to these people and asked them what they want to replace the Russia as it stands. They don’t have a clue. They just want some amorphous “change”. Asking change to ‘what’ comes up blank.  As blank as Alexei Navalny’s non-existent portfolio of “brilliant ideas”.

Such people as Navalny and his horde of spitting and spiteful, wet-behind-the-ears followers have nothing to offer except provocations, a lot of raucous noise and not even a suggestion of an idea beyond creating as much anarchy and mischief as possible.

Illegal demonstrations designed to create public mayhem will never be tolerated in Russia in exactly the same way they will not be tolerated anywhere in the West. But from the western elite perspective Russia is always different and held to an entirely different standard. Use torture, invade nations, kill hundreds of thousands based on lies... lock Julian Assange away, punish Chelsea Manning to the absolute limit and exile Edward Snowden... but that’s all okay, it’s big bad old Russia that’s the problem.

This is the totally skewed mentality of western elites, ever saintly assassins and jailers who point fingers anywhere but at themselves. As they sit on the same rancid dunghill as their agent, Alexei Navalny.

ARE WESTERN STATE TERRORISTS BELIEVABLE?

The political elites of the West plus their mainstream media accomplices are state terrorists, along with their intelligence agencies who used terrorists in the regime change war against Syria.

Dare you EVER believe what such people say?

You know what a pack of lies you were told on the regime change targets that set the Middle East ablaze and fractured it for uncountable generations to come, don’t you?

You know what lies you were told, barefaced, knowing lies designed to dupe you and gain your consent and passivity while those who told you these lies had a license to murder hundreds of thousands, don’t you?

Are you inclined to believe these same state terrorists and their media helpers again in the next few regime change targets also?

These are of course Russia, Iran and China with ongoing missions against Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua being progressed in tandem.

Do you wish to see every continent including the one you live in brought to absolute chaos, death, destruction and the most abominable human misery as seen elsewhere in recent years?

By believing and supporting the terrorist states of the USA, UK and any others in the 'Coalition of the Killing’ that enthusiastically jump in to help prop up the failing West. Because that’s what this is all about. The elites of the West are desperate to shore up their long-held power to dominate all others along with their chosen allies and despotic rulers whose oil they still need. The western terrorist elites who have been causing mayhem for decade after decade since the end of World War Two are losing their power to judge, threaten, manipulate, attack and destroy those nations that don’t bow to their wishes or comply immediately with their demands.

If you live in the western world and particularly in the United States of America or the United Kingdom your leaders are state terrorists willing to lie, con, deceive and deliver death worldwide.

Just so you know the kind of evil beings you are believing when they spin their propaganda through their so-called news outlets within mainstream media.

Terrorists of all kinds are incapable of truth-telling. When will westerners finally realize this?

PROPAGANDA PAYBACK

What is propaganda?

Whatever your personal definition, one vital element must always be present. Whatever the message it seeks to convey, it must always be from one side only attacking the side you wish to denigrate or weaken.

We are told that in the West that we are deluged by Russian propaganda. Could someone tell me where to find it? They say RT (Russia Today) is Russian propaganda and that could be debated as it doesn’t conform to any traditional definition I know of. Admittedly it does tend to feature documentaries (by westerners predominantly) that show some of the downsides of life in the West. If you wish to call that propaganda, okay, but I can't agree.

Tell me where else to look...

Perhaps you will say social media is full of it. Very well. I have been on various social media sites for two decades now and yes, I found opinions that were pro-Russian during that time. Not that many as a proportion to the plethora of other opinions however and as far as I could tell these were opinions by people like me, individuals with no obvious links to the Russian state. I myself have absolutely none. If opinions genuinely expressed are to be termed propaganda then I hold up my hand. I'm certainly guilty of that.

What about the propaganda “factories” of Russia, those who produced those amazingly successful Facebook ads (about $90k of them) that swung the 2016 presidential election in Trump’s favor? I mean, have you seen any of them? I assume you know they don’t mention Trump and feature wild and wonderful (and extremely idiotic) memes that have no bearing on any election anytime anywhere. Yes, of course we can see how this $90k of madcap memes beat $200M of ads by the supporters of Hillary Clinton. Can’t we?

In the Orwellian, or Alice in Wonderland of “If I say it, it’s true” many can and do, and repeat it as known and obvious fact.

Leaving all of the above aside for a moment let’s see if we can detect propaganda a little closer to home.

I would ask you to cast your mind back to the myriad reports you have either seen or read on Vladimir Putin and Russia and mentally gauge how many of them offered what you might call a balanced perspective. How many featured some ameliorating feature other than a straight accusation, negative opinion or any narrative that was not framed as a criticism? Do you recall any such article, program or tweet?

If we accept what the BBC, CNN, MSNBC or virtually all mainstream media news outlets across the entire western world have told us both Vladimir Putin and the entire Russian state are rotten to the core in absolute terms entirely without any redeeming features. If this is so then why does the International Criminal Court at The Hague not issue a warrant for Putin’s arrest and why does the United Nations not condemn the Russian Federation as a rogue state?

Why do a great many world leaders meet with Vladimir Putin, engage in talks with him and give every appearance of respecting his views while arranging new trading agreements with Russia?  
Is the framing of Vladimir Putin and the Russian state fair? Is it balanced? Does it indicate what might be described as an impeccably even-handed and impartial approach? Is there no trace of bias? Is the framing neutral, with the pros and cons meticulously detailed so that the reader or viewer can come to a reasonably well informed opinion?

Or is all we hear a constant litany of negative views where a critical slant permeates each and every article, view and perspective?

Is it any wonder that after hearing a decade and a half at least of this kind of framing that it now tends to permeate the entire western world as the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?

And this mind you after these very same mainstream media news outlets were found guilty of spreading much the same narratives about other regime change targets which were later discovered to be half-truths, disinformation and lies. It is quite amazing that westerners find it easy to once again stare into their television sets or avidly read the same outlets that so adeptly gulled them so very recently with such catastrophic loss of life, chaos, destruction and human misery across the Middle East. Some hundred thousand human beings at the very least died due to those lies and the fact that so many in the West believed them. (Never forget the fact that even so, no politician or media staff were made to pay any penalty never mind face jail for manslaughter or murder.)

It has become a “fact” that Russia is attacking western democracy. This “fact” has emerged from the very sources that duped westerners time after time in recent years in order to manufacture consent for the West’s desire to initiate regime change within their chosen targets. Those sources who have been shown to generate and distribute lies are the CIA, MI5/MI6, U.S. and UK politicians (predominantly) and virtually all of corporate and state media across the entire western world and the allies of its ruling elites.

All this is a matter of record. However, in this western world devoted to the techniques delineated in George Orwell’s ‘1984‘ none of this matters. It can be discarded as irrelevant, not worthy of taking into consideration as only the moment and the currently required narrative is important.

The elites of our western world see their influence waning. They consider themselves and their ability to dominate all other nations as the sole guarantor of ‘The Free World’ against those devils elsewhere whose rise means the collapse of the world into anarchy. They believe they are exceptional and that their power to manipulate world events and administer punishment to wrong-doers must not be eclipsed. 

They are willing to kill anyone in their way to ensure this. They are willing to undermine nations with sanctions or even to invade and occupy them to ensure it. They are willing to support and use whatever insurrectionists or terrorists within any target nation to ensure it. They are willing to use any means whatsoever, unethical, immoral or otherwise they consider necessary to ensure it.

They are willing to permeate the entire western world with their propaganda to ensure it.

So Russia, China, Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua... it is well after time to get your act together and deliver the propaganda these western elite deceivers say already exists. Whatever puny propaganda you are generating now needs massively to be ramped up and programs generated to encourage all your citizens to join the endeavor to rebut and challenge the lies being generated constantly by western elites and their brainwashed populations. It is time to put the boot on the other foot and start kicking.

It is time for a massive degree of propaganda payback.

THE EMPEROR STANDS NAKED BEFORE US

Those with eyes to see & ears to hear can be in no doubt about the position we are in.

Though the USA & UK profess to be saviors of the world they are instead quite obviously its destroyers.

Many remain wrapped within the bullshit narratives they spin however, unable to see the reality beyond the lies but surely in a state of being at least partially awake to a reality that has become ever clearer over the years.

The wall to wall campaign to present these two murderous entities as saints has been the most powerful in recorded history. It has permeated every level of existence across the entire western world extending into nations that have shown their compliance to their power and have found it convenient for their purposes.

Myriad heinous acts have been carried out from centuries old campaigns of genocide, slavery and colonialism to recent attacks on nations who did not demonstrate compliance by bowing down low before them. These dominant terrorist states have demanded others be their slaves or die, brutally eliminated as viable nations by overwhelming force.

A network of elites within both the USA and UK maintain the illusion of sanctity in spite of the terrorist activities they initiate tearing nations apart and eliminating those not bowing before them. These psychopathic individuals surround themselves with a group-thought bubble of believable lies that all are commanded to believe and so permeate every brain that they have come to be accepted as observable facts. This while the true reality for those with eyes to see and ears to hear has become obvious to ever-increasing numbers of observers who stand outside this royal court of the insane.

Their iniquitous acts are quite obvious to all individuals with independent minds where logic and clarity prevails rather than the insider’s conditioned mentality based as it is on compliance with the stated narrative, the demanded viewpoint and the holy cult of assumed sanctity.

Western elites act as emperors of all that they survey, tin pot kings and queens with self-awarded crowns. They conceive their kingdom to be the entire planet, theirs to judge and do with as they see fit. They award themselves with the right to be above all laws obeyed by other, lesser mortals and assign themselves with superior knowledge, the keenest perception and holy right to deliver judgement and punishment to all wrongdoers. All this while constantly committing the most heinous of crimes on all humanity.

These crimes are also committed on their own populace, especially so within the USA where militarized, racist police kill citizens with virtual impunity, especially so if the skin of the victim is not Aryan white. In the USA the populace is fleeced like sheep by a health system designed for that purpose, a food industry that contributes by keeping the flock sick, a political elite that obeys and works constantly for the oligarchic class and a media mafia that infects as many souls as it can reach with all the lies the elites require to be believed to maintain their power.

The populations of these countries live in fear of judgement by their fascistic “kings” and “queens”, the collective of self-appointed “emperors” who gain their power through a system designated as “democracy” which serves only to blind the majority in order to establish a facade of legitimacy.

In truth this so-called democracy is a transparent fix designed only to keep the elite rulers in power and their subjects docile, ignorant of their true power. In the USA oligarchs pull the strings of their regal prostitutes, the politicians, in a manner that is obvious to all... provided the observers have eyes to see and ears to hear.

The criminality perpetrated on a constant day to day basis across the U.S. and UK upper echelons is totally obvious to those in this category. It is right there in the face of every such observer and the public relations propaganda coming down from on high has no effect as it is heard for what it is and has no effect upon them. Except to produce a sneer of disdain and disgust.

The entire violence and criminality-created empire of the USA and UK is held in place by sophistry and illusions that demand constant compliance, fabrications designed to dupe the gullible, the fearful, the ignorant and all those with a desire to stay ignorant as long as it suits them to do so.

To all those whose doors of perception are fully open the true reality could not be more clear.

The elites of the USA and UK across every elite platform from the political to the corporate to the media are corrupt and criminal as hell, fully aware of their iniquity, lust for continued power at the expense of all others and completely rotted from within by the power they have already acquired.

Power acquired by criminal acts perpetrated down the centuries that delivered them the “right” to lord it over their nations and the entire planet, demanding compliance in the name of their stolen power and threatening destructive consequences for any disobedience to their elite demands.

The empire of the West, with its self-installed emperors are the true enemies of our world, the true criminals, the elite insane, power-hungry men and women who have learned the art of deception to virtual perfection.

But this seeming perfection can only hold sway while their populations remain in the thrall of their constantly generated lies. We can only be controlled and held captive by their generation of illusions if we comply out of some sense of subservience or notion of benefiting by staying blind. Their corrosive acts have all been in plain sight for a half century and more, hidden from the sight of some by a smoke screen of lies they generate about themselves, their motivations and their constant, pervasive demand that we believe they are justified in all their thoughts, words and deeds.

But in daily increasing numbers we see these elites of the West for what they truly are, the insane, the criminal, the destroyers of body and soul, the world’s primary state terrorists who dress themselves in fine “clothes” of rhetoric that is only believable to those who see a benefit in agreeing to their fakery, their posturing and deceiving claims of purity.

In truth the naked savagery of these power-driven elites is uniquely obvious, shown in open displays of power-mongering violence clothed as idealistic goodness. These are the quislings who would rule the world, the arch-deceivers, the schemers planning for full spectrum dominance, the wannabe masters of all mankind, emperors and slave masters of all.

CAN ONLY PSYCHOPATHS REACH THE TOP?

I suspect most of us with an inclination to look wider than our own circle of family and friends have asked ourselves at some time or other why the world is in such a mess and remains so.

Usually by doing so we only end up becoming confused by the numbness that prevails each time we search for answers in our minds for this question. What the hell is going on when as a species that generally cooperates with each other reasonably amicably on a day to day basis can’t get its act together at higher levels?

Most of us thinkers never get very far. We tend to be considerate of others and generally unwilling to do the somewhat unethical things that might get us elbowing rivals out of the way so that we can prosper. Something inside stops us. We just don’t feel we could live with ourselves if we did such things. We’d feel dirty and that we would feel ashamed, aware that we had done something we were brought up to reject as a way to live honestly in this world.

Most of us probably have no clear concept of how other people may not be imbued with the same mentality we share with other honest friends we have who we trust as loyal people, people we instinctively know as good and who we respect.  It is difficult to get our heads around the mentality of people who think in a different way entirely.

I am talking of the kind of people who grow up to become confidence tricksters of whom there is a wide spectrum of behavior. Those to whom other people are seen only as competition to get ahead of, to manipulate, to kneecap by whatever tactics are necessary to triumph over, who are quite capable of any kind of trickery that works, even to the level of outright criminality.

As I say, there is a wide spectrum of such a minority, and they are a minority, this much is known.

The spectrum begins with the bully, young or old who throws his or her weight around. Perhaps you encountered one in your early life or later, perhaps at work. They generate a weird vibe, something quite unfamiliar and off-putting. You are thrown at a disadvantage as you can’t understand that mentality, it seems wholly inappropriate and pushes your buttons. You get confused into thinking it might be your fault, that you are weak and unable and that you deserve this treatment and at the very least it scares you and this makes you feel ashamed. The bully doesn’t seem to recognize the effect of their acts on you, there appears an absolute zero of understanding on that. Doesn’t he or she see that you are hurting? That you are trying to do the right thing or do the thing they want, right? You can’t seem to get the point of what’s happening... it simply does not compute. Your brain is not wired up the same way as the predator you’ve encountered.

Beyond the bully but including all the bully’s attribute we move on to the next level when he or she has used their conscience-free talents to ingratiate themselves with the upper management where you work. They have impressed their superiors with what appear to be powerful personalities, full of self-confidence and dynamism. They impress also as the kind of people who have the man-management skills to discipline and motivate the workforce and who will stand for no nonsense, who won’t be too easygoing and thereby encourage laziness. These people tend to get team leader roles and later they will be called on to emotionlessly deal with candidates for firing and redundancy. These tasks will be no problem at all for them as they have few feelings for others that might get in the way.

Not all businesses will operate in this way of course. Some teams within businesses will be formed of good-hearted people working for an eminently sane boss who wants good relationships and provides a safe environment for team-building, cooperative events and bonding between all members.

But the traditional companies where old management techniques involving shaming and blaming, where the bottom line is everything and everyone is pressured to the maximum to perform are the place those I am talking of gravitate too and excel within rising inexorably to the upper echelons.

Others like you and I, unless we are lucky enough to have found a modern environment of no blame and a caring management that is aware of having the responsibility to create a good and fair working space, end up happy to survive somehow ans take home a decent wage. In ambition-demanding, dynamism-expecting environments we get totally left behind unless we have some super extraordinary skill that singles us out.

Now imagine this going further up the line to upper management. Imagine the dirty deals that people get expected to engage in and hard-nosed activities that they are expected to perform. There is no leeway at that level, no excuses are accepted and those around you have the same hard-nosed mentality, the dog-eat-dog ambitions and the almost (or total) absence of anything approaching a conscience.

Take it one step further in the field of politics. Move that on up to the level of politics in high office. Then think of governmental positions and the presidency or prime ministership.

Each step emphasizes ever greater levels of pressure, demands to exceed, to maintain your position and to shield yourself from attack while planning your own attacks on others.

Are you getting the idea of why we end up with a certain kind of person dominating those top positions?

Toward the far end of the spectrum I’m talking about from the bully we started out from and the sharp-elbowed few who aggressively get themselves up into the business, media or political heights are the sociopaths. Where some with few scruples may get far, those with no scruples at all can ascend to far greater heights in certain fields, politics being just one of them.

Serial killers are at the furthest end of the spectrum I’m talking of, but we need not discuss them at any length. They have zero conscience, zero compassion or empathy, are completely amoral and feel nothing even doing what anyone else, even those further back in the spectrum would find distasteful if not completely abhorrent. Some of them no doubt would have a sneaking envy for them... but not outright approval.

Serial killers don’t make good executives however and thankfully so. They are too obsessed, their mentality flits to haphazardly and though they believe they know it all have a very hard time doing anything right at all. They simply have no experience at doing anything constructive and with the view that they know everything already feel they have no need to learn anything.

It’s the ones who are not quite at that far end of the spectrum but share many of the attributes such as an absence of conscience, no empathy and a completely amoral attitude to honesty that create most mayhem in our world. They have been socialized somehow. This is why they are not killers or otherwise insane. They have learned great cunning in the manipulation of others. These are the confidence tricksters able to easily dupe people into believing in them and handing over their money or possessions. These traits are also vital to being a successful politician. The cynicism has to be almost total to be a convincing teller of believable half-truths, carefully constructed admirable aspirations with as much reality as a fairy tale, a dynamic personality that gives the impression of knowing all necessary facts and wielding any necessary weapon against all contenders to his or her political crown.

These are the socialized psychopaths. And these compose to one degree or another all those who rise to the top of whatever elite tree you could mention from media, to business to politics... especially so in our modern world where an excellent image and cutthroat abilities are vital.

These people are the reason why the world never emerges from the mess we see around us while we try to engage with the best will in the world with those around us.

If you have an interest in this subject that so many of us have pondered, why things in the realms above us and almost totally beyond our understanding are so completely fucked up, study the characteristics of Donald J. Trump and if you are especially keen, compare them to the most commonly used Hare list of psychopathic traits.

This is your answer to the question we began with regarding why this world is so messed up yet most people you know are reasonably decent human beings acting reasonably well.

It is because, almost always... it tends only to be psychopaths who reach the top and stat there.

 

THE POT AND THE KETTLE

The elites of the USA and UK sit in judgement on others. How appropriate is it for nations whose elites have continually scarred the ethical and moral landscape of the world to take this role?

In the case of the USA we have a history of perpetrating a genocide upon the original inhabitants of their nation. Then the enslavement of millions from the African continent causing the deaths of thousands in their transportation in the most vile of conditions, shackled and treated worse than animals for the survivors to be separated from their families and sold into a system of perpetual abuse for the rest of their lives.

As for the UK its elites sought to plunder as much of the world as it could reach with its greedy lust for resources, enslave the populations of each invaded and humiliated nation colonizing it for the benefit of the “great” British Empire and proudly boasting of its greatness. And the UK too, engaged in the slave trade to the maximum, exploiting each and every opportunity to abuse those of color to the maximum extent possible to enrich itself. Many Brits owned plantations in the ‘New World’ where it was normal to make fortunes off the sweat of the labor.

The elites of the USA and the UK have been the two most aggressive, human rights abusing entities this world has ever known, plundering nations for their resources to endlessly empower and enrich themselves, destroying the cohesion and pride of millions, destroying families and fracturing noble cultures to the extent that they can never hope to recover, lecturing them on morality and looking down on them as sub-humans, seeing them as a species of ape in some cases. These are the cultures that now want to tell us they are a superior race of white saints in human form who insist they have some noble duty to tell the rest of us how to behave? The entire world ought to be laughing in their faces in scorn rather than take them seriously to any extent whatsoever.

The irony of all this is beyond the power of words to tell. The perpetual iniquity of U.S. and UK elites from those early abominations to today runs in a constant line of utterly reprehensible, criminal and solely self-interested abuse of every possible decent human standard. These elites are proficient only in their ruthless greed, violence of temperament, willingness to enslave, abuse of others for self-gain and mercilessness of action designed always to prove others wrong and themselves right. They lie with a professional cunning built from hundreds of years of practice and manipulate the position of power ruthlessly that they built from those same years in which they sought to plunder the world and steal from every population they could get their dirty hands on.

The present day elites of these nations have set themselves up as the standard bearers of purity, of righteous good thoughts, acts and deeds, the saintly arbiters of universal right and wrong, the self-appointed judge, jury and executioners determining good ethical behavior as differentiated from bad, the arrangers of penalties and punishment for those they deem guilty.

These elites have fractured multiple nations across the Middle East in recent years causing the deaths of hundreds of thousands based on lies. They have destroyed homes, cities and livelihoods, brought endless chaos and the rise of murderous religious zealots in response to their criminal acts who were assisted to further ravage these populations.

As in previous times stretching back to the earlier iniquitous times of genocide, colonization and slavery the motivation of ensuring the supply of resources and gaining more for themselves was an inherent factor in all their murderous wars. Self-interest was key to each of their endlessly cynical, utterly callous and terminally dishonest exploits in every Middle Eastern nation they brought to its knees. Oil and influence, aid to Israel, undermining of competing interests and a desire to demonstrate raw power were the characteristics on display, not some self-professed idealism to bring peace, freedom, democracy, selfless devotion to bringing some saccharine 3rd-rate Hollywood sweetness and light happy ending. They brought instead the absolute in disgusting ugliness of colon bursting, brain-splattering death. Then patted themselves on the back for a job well done covering their disgusting filth in a vomit of self-justifying lies.

Hypocrisy cannot possibly be more obvious or nauseating as in the case of these most filthy and cretinous of elites with their hands perpetually running with blood having a past that is as black as their greedy, power-hungry hearts.

The saying that gives this text its title was never more true than in this case. It has been used for generation after generation to describe people who have such a total lack of self-awareness and willingness to attack others from an overwhelming sense of unwarranted entitlement and self-justification that they accuse others of mentalities, attitudes, abuses and crimes that are an inherent part of their own character.

Those who reflect the well known saying where the pot, burned to deepest ebony by fire, dares to call the kettle black.
